Author's Note:
Here's chapter 15. Ok, yes yes, I know it took way too long. Feel free to flood my inbox with hate mail or whatever you see fit. Things have been busy lately with school and everything though, so I apologize. Hopefully this chapter makes up for the wait though. I wanted this one to be a "happy" chapter since after this there will be moe darkness to the story. Also this is why I made the story an "R" rating. I hope I accomplished my goal of making it as tasteful as possible. Well, until next time (I'll ty and make it not as long), HAPPY READING!

CHAPTER FIFTEEN - QUIDDITCH

With everything that was going on in his hectic life, Harry was glad to have at least one thing to take his mind off of things (besides Hermione, of course).

He and the rest of the castle were eagerly awaiting the upcoming quidditch season. The building anxiety of not having one the previous year seemed to make everyone in the castle positively nuts about it. And no one was perhaps as nuts about it as Ron.

Since he had joined the team, Ron had not only become Keeper, but practically took over the coaching position. At every one of the Gryffindor's practices, he could be seen floating above the goal posts and shouting out orders to his teammates, advising them on strategies and positions. The only reason the team put up with it was because they had also noticed that since he started doing it, they had become significantly better. Harry was quite confident that as good as they had been in their previous seasons, they would top that in the upcoming one. But only time would tell. The first match, Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff, was the upcoming Saturday.

****

That Saturday morning dawned chilly but bright. There was frost on the vast, rolling Hogwarts grounds. A light wind blew newly fallen leaves over the hills. It was a good day for Quidditch.

The common room was awoken that morning by Ron, walking down the dorm halls and knocking on the doors for his team to wake up. If the sun had not been streaming through the curtains of the rooms, everyone might not have been so pleased to awake from their slumber, but they were.

The team assembled downstairs in the common room, clothed and ready for a good quidditch match. Ron marched them out of the portrait hole and downstairs to the great hall. Many cheers came from the people already seated at the Gryffindor table, led mainly by Hermione and Madeline who were anxiously awaiting their boyfriends.

While happy to see Maddy, Ron kept up his captain routine and urged the team to eat. Maddy had to persuade him to finally get him to eat anything though.

"They look a bit nervous don't they?" Ron said to Harry, motioning toward the Hufflepuff team at their seats.

"They do. Especially their seeker."

"Well that's better for us."

"He'd be no match for Harry anyway," George said, letting himself into the conversation.

"Yeah, come on, it's Hufflepuff."

"Fred," Alicia said, "remember what Oliver used to tell us. You can't be too overconfident."

"Yeah, yeah. Good ol' Wood."

"Hey come on now! I'm here!" Ron said, acting hurt.

"Yeah, you are. I still can't believe I take orders from my little brother," George said.

"The team has gotten better ever since your little brother joined it," Ginny said.

"Thanks Gin. And it's no wonder that the team is better, considering that we have the greatest team of chasers ever," Ron said, putting his arm around her.

Ginny cheeks flushed.

"Well team," Ron said, looking at his watch, "it's about time. Locker rooms!"

With that the team got up and made their way to the Quidditch pitch. Hermione and Maddy went along.

Soon the team was changed into their uniforms and ready for play. Ron was pacing up and down the locker room, looking quite Oliver Woodish.

"Well team, this is it. Our first game as a new team. This is our chance to show the school that the Gryffindor team can only get better! And I think we'll do just that today. We've worked hard over the last weeks. Trained hard, played hard. Yes, I think we're ready. No, I KNOW we're ready!"

"That's the spirit Ron!" Katie Bell said.

The team and Madeline and Hermione erupted into yells, getting themselves pumped up. It was working.

"Ok! Let's take the field!"

The team chanted Gryffindor as they made their way to the stadium doors. Harry and Ron got a quick kiss from their girlfriends and some words of encouragement before they erupted out of the doors and soared above the field. The stands erupted into loud cheering.

"Well here they are folks! Our returning champions! The Gryffindor Lions!"

More cheers from the stands.

Lee Jordan was still acting as the commentator at Quidditch matches.

The team flew around a bit, weaving in and out of each other and the Hufflepuff team, getting used to being on their broomsticks. Harry was checking out the seeker in particular. He was flying with great skill, but Harry was happy to notice that he was riding a Cleansweep Seven. Which was no match for his Firebolt.

Soon the teams were sufficiently warmed up and Madam Hooch walked out onto the field with the Quidditch box.

The teams took their positions above the ground as she opened the boxes. The bludgers were released. Harry watched as the snitch was released. It flitted in front of the seekers for a second before disappearing into the sky. Madam Hooch now took out the big red ball.

"Now I want to see a clean game! Captains shake hands!"

Nobody on the Gryffindor team moved forward.

"Go Ron!" Katie said.

"Oh yeah," Ron said stupidly.

He floated forward and shook the Hufflepuff team's captain. The two glared at each other with menacing eyes, although Harry noticed Ron looked much more confident than his opponent.

Ron flew back to the goal post as Madam Hooch was about to throw the quaffle into the air.

The whole crowd was tense with anticipation of the first Quidditch match of the season. Nobody moved as Madam Hooch stood in the middle of the field and tossed the ball into the air. Ginny snatched it up quickly and the game was on.

"Here we go folks! The first match of the season! And what a match it will be!"

The chasers flew around each other, leading the Hufflepuff chasers in circles, trying to disorient them. They passed the quaffle to each other with incredible speed as they flew.

"Look at them go! Ginny - Alicia - Ginny - Katie - Ginny - Katie - Alicia! Whew they're fast!"

Soon the team was moving even faster and working in harmony. Alicia, Katie and Ginny continued passing the quaffle, slowly moving closer and closer to the Hufflepuff goals. The twins were overhead, trying to knock the bludgers into the other beaters and keeping them off their chasers. Ron was down at the other end, cheering them on.

Meanwhile, Harry was flying high overhead, his eyes darting here and there for any sign of the golden snitch. He kept a close eye on the other seeker as well.

"Here they go! The chasers are streaking toward the goal posts! Alicia with the quaffle. She's moving at top speed toward the keeper! She passes to Ginny! Goal! And Alicia fakes the keeper out with a pass to Ginny at the last second! What a move!"

The stands erupted into cheers and red banners flew wildly. Boos came from the Hufflepuff end.

Soon the game began to move at a furious pace. Not only were the Gryffindor chasers fast, but the Hufflepuff chasers were as well. If the Gryffindor chasers weren't such good flyers themselves, they might've had a hard time keeping up with them.

Before they knew it, the Hufflepuffs had scored and the game was tied.

"This is one of the fastest games I've ever seen folks! I can hardly keep up with who's who! And look at all that red hair! The big story of the game of course being the fact that four out of the seven on the Gryffindor team are Weasleys! Quidditch must be in their blood. They have their work cut out for them with the Hufflepuffs though. Seems as they don't suck as much as I thought!"

"Jordan!" Professor McGonagall yelled.

"Kidding professor! Kidding! And now back to the game. Gryffindor in possession. The chasers continue their tactic of fast paced passing. It seems to do the trick. Now Ginny with the quaffle. She streaks toward the goals. Boy that keeper looks nervous! And there she goes, picking up speed. She's nearly there, heading straight for the goals. It looks like she's going to crash!"

Ginny flew straight toward the keeper, without letting up. Finally she pulled up, just as she was about to collide with the keeper and tossed the ball over her head into the hands of a waiting Alicia Spinnet. The keeper was braced for impact and did not see the move.

"Goal! Gryffindor back in the lead! And what a move that was! The addition of Ginny Weasley to the team was definitely a good one! And now the Hufflepuffs have the quaffle. They make their way down the field in formation. They've taken the Hawkshead formation! These Hufflepuffs know their stuff! Ron Weasley streaking between the goals, waiting for the attempt. Susan of Hufflepuff with the ball now. She looks like she's gonna throw!"

At that moment the two seekers dived down toward the ground directly in front of the chasers. They let up and dropped the quaffle. It was grabbed by Katie who flew at top speed toward the other end. The Hufflepuffs hurried to catch up to her as the seekers plummeted to the ground.

"Look at that! They're neck and neck, hurtling toward the ground! They're gonna crash! Oh my! Harry pulls up at the last moment, but the Hufflepuff seeker was not as lucky! He barely had time to realize what was happening before he hit the ground. That had to hurt! But Harry gets him with the Wronski Feint! The Hufflepuffs call time out as their seeker collects his wits."

Slowly the seeker got up with the help of his teammates. This gave Harry a chance to watch for the snitch alone, where he didn't have to also watch him. And it paid off. He spotted it flitting about the ground near the Gryffindor goals. All he needed now was for time to be called back on.

He didn't take his eyes of the golden glint as the Hufflepuffs flew back onto the field. He took his eyes off of it for a split second to locate the other seeker. He was flying shakily around near the other end. He turned back to the snitch and found it now hovering around the top of the middle goal. Ron had seen it too. He caught Harry's eyes. Harry silently indicated for him to move out of the way when the whistle was called. Ron nodded in understanding.

"And there's the whistle. The game is back on! Wow and there goes Harry! He wastes no time! He's seen the snitch! And there goes Troy, the Hufflepuff seeker! Harry whizzes around the Gryffindor goals but is cut off by Troy! They're neck and neck again! Look at them go!"

Harry was hoping the snitch wouldn't have moved as he made his way past the goals, but it wasn't going to be that easy. The snitch flitted off as he approached it. He would have to take chase. He winced as the other seeker crashed into his side, trying to knock him out of the way. They raced beside each other after the snitch, but soon enough, Harry's Firebolt began to make a difference. He pulled ahead of the other seeker as was nearly upon the snitch. It streaked down all of a sudden and made for the other direction. Harry did the same as Troy noticed also and followed suit.

Meanwhile, the Hufflepuff chasers were going to work also. They were flying toward the goal posts at top speed. George Weasley hit a bludger into the pack, but it had no affect. One of the Hufflepuff beaters hit it right back at him.
The quaffle was thrown. Ron darted toward it. He stretched his hands out.

At the same time, Harry took his hands off of his broom and stretched them out also, reaching with all his will to the snitch.

At the other end of the pitch, Ron's arms closed just as the quaffle flew through them. Hufflepuff had scored.

Harry however, had not missed. He closed his hands around the cold ball as Troy barreled into him. It was a desperate and futile move though. Harry had the snitch. He pulled upwards and darted above the teams as Madam Hooch blew the whistle.

"Gryffindor wins!"

The Gryffindors and their supporters in the crowd erupted in cheers as the teams came back to the ground.

"Gryffindor wins! Potter snatches up the snitch just as Ron lets by a Hufflepuff goal! What a game!"

Down on the field, the Gryffindor team was celebrating, while the Hufflepuffs shook their heads. Soon the Gryffindors made their way over to the Hufflepuffs and shook their hands, congratulating them on a great game.

"You're quite a match," Harry said, smiling at the Hufflepuff seeker. "No hard feelings?"

Troy rubbed his head but smiled weakly.

"Of course not. If I'm gonna get beat, at least it's by the best."

They smiled at each other and shook hands. Then the Gryffindors gathered back up and made their way back into the locker room.

****

That night there was a great party in the Gryffindor common room as there usually was when they won a Quidditch match. Music was blaring from a wizard wireless set and several tables of food were set up. The Weasleys twins had also managed to acquire several barrels of butterbeer.

The mood of everybody in the room was extremely happy and cheerful. People danced and told jokes for most of the night. Couples could be seen disappearing into the dormitories all night long as well. It was a Saturday night and everybody made great use of it.

Harry and Hermione spent most of the night with Ron and Maddy dancing. For some reason Harry actually found himself enjoying dancing. Hermione had that affect on him. Soon enough though, Ron and Maddy snuck away and Harry and Hermione were left by themselves. Not that they minded.

Harry pulled Hermione into a dark corner where nobody was around. He pushed her back up against the wall and leaned his body onto hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck as they kissed. Harry put his hands around her backside and slipped them into the waist of her skirt.

Hermione let out a slight moan as she felt Harry's hands caressing her. She opened her mouth and darted her tongue into his. Soon she could feel the growing bulge in Harry's pants rub against her inner thighs. She moaned again as she pressed her body harder into his.

They were almost sweating as they continued. They barely came up for air. Soon Harry removed his tongue from her mouth and began to kiss her neck. He kissed her lightly at first there, than began to lick and suck at her nape, slowly moving up to her ear. He blew into it and felt her shiver in his arms. She began to grind her pelvis into his as he nibbled on her earlobe. She moaned again as he licked her ear. He knew she went wild when he did that.

Hermione couldn't help herself anymore. She put her mouth onto his and kissed him hard, their tongues darting within each other's mouths. She broke away and opened her eyes to look at him. They were both red in the face.

"There isn't anyone in my dorm."

"Are you sure?"

"Ginny went out with Neville awhile ago, Maddy is with Ron and Lavender and Parvati are with their boyfriends at their dorms."

Harry raised his eyebrows. He kissed her on the lips quickly before she grabbed his hand and led him upstairs.

Harry closed the door quietly while Hermione went to her bed. Harry hurried quickly after her and picked her up. He laid her gently upon the covers and positioned himself next to her. Quickly she rolled over and straddled him, sitting atop his waist. She closed the curtains around the four-poster, took out her wand and whispered "Quietus."

"Just in case."

Harry smiled at her and pulled her down onto him. She leaned down on him and pressed her lips against his. She sat back up soon and pulled off his shirt. Hermione ran her fingers down his body as Harry pushed his pelvis up suddenly. Her eyes rolled up in her head as she collapsed onto him. Soon she began rolling her hips along with him. She laid her head onto his neck and moaned into his ear. He loved nothing more than to hear her moans of pleasure whispered softly into his ear. He wanted more though.

Harry ran his hands down Hermione's back and gripped her shirt at the bottom. He pulled and she sat up again, allowing him to remove it easily. He threw it onto the curtains where it fell to the floor. He then reached behind her back and unclasped her bra, letting it fall too.

Her ample breasts swung freely on her chest as she laid back down onto him. Harry began to kiss her neck again as he felt her hard nipples rub against his chest. She moaned steadily now as they rolled their hips together.

Hermione got up again and moved down Harry's legs. She unbuttoned his pants and yanked them down until he was in nothing but his boxers. She lifted up the hem of her skirt as she placed herself back down onto him. He put his hands on her breasts and rolled her nipples between his fingers as she began to gyrate her hips. Harry loved it when Hermione took control.

Harry soon felt the wetness of her panties seep through to his boxers. He loved knowing that he did that to Hermione. It was the ultimate pleasure to know that he was the cause of his partner's happiness, especially in this way.

Hermione laid her bare chest back down onto Harry's. They both moaned freely now, as the bulge in Harry's underwear ground against Hermione's special spot. He could tell that she was close to an orgasm because his boxers were getting more and more wet. Very soon she closed her eyes and ground her teeth together. She let out a sigh of release and a loud moan as she buried her head in Harry's neck. He put his hands on her bottom and pushed her into him harder, making her purr with even more waves of pleasure. Her whole body shook on top of his while wave after wave went through her body.

Soon she began to stop shuddering and she opened her eyes, peering through the sweat-drenched hair hanging in her face. She looked into Harry's eyes and kissed him on the forehead as he ran his hands around her naked back. She moved her lips down his face, kissing him in the middle of his eyes, his nose and finally on his mouth. He wrapped his strong arms tightly around her as their lips were united. Hermione sighed with release loudly as their bodies pressed together as one.

"I love you with all my heart Harry," she said softly into his ear.

"I love you too Hermione."

"Stay with me tonight in my bed."

"I wouldn't even dare of going anywhere."

"You better not."

With this Hermione removed her skirt, and leaned on Harry, her arm draped across his chest. He put his arm around her and rested his head on top of hers. And there they fell asleep in each other's arms.
