Dark Sapphire

Harry and Draco are more alike than they would like to admit. Both have had their futures mapped out by something Out of This World, Fate, and both look for an escape from the pressure. Surprisingly, they find that escape in each other, but Fate always has a way of reminding you it's there.

"Smiles can be faked. Do not assume everyone who smiles is happy." Harry finally succeeds in defeating the Dark Lord, or so everyone believes-- everyone except Harry. Something grows in his mind, beginning as a whispery voice but then much stronger, causing his loved ones to disappear from his sight. Only one person seems unaffected by this disease, or what ever it is, and that one person may be the only one capable of helping Harry. The question arises, though, does that person want to? H/D
