"Now I would like to introduce you to my sister in-law Bellatrix Lestrange and her friend Raven Darkholme, who was the brains behind last nights mass escape from Azkaban," he announced.

Kurt looked over at the red-haired women, she looked back at him and a smile crept over her face.

"Hello Kurt," she said.

"Mutter!" he gasped.

Lucius stared in disbelief at Kurt.

"And I don't want the world to see me cause I don't think that they'd understand"

Goo Goo dolls - Iris

Lucius continued staring at Kurt, it had been minutes of silence.

"Yes Lucius, Kurt here is my son," Raven, or Mystique as she was better known outside of the wizarding world told him, breaking the uneasy silence.

Lucius didn't look very happy as he sneered with disgust. "You said Michael drowned," he spat at her.

"Oh you would have preferred I told you I watched a German fish him out of a river," she snarled back at him.

Harry noticed that Lucius looked as if he was going to explode at any moment. He had after all had a stressful morning because of the Kurt incident. Now Kurt's mother seemed to be getting in on the act. Actually the Kurt's mother part came as a shock because Kurt being a muggle, although a mutant one at that, meant that she was most likely a muggle, unless of course Kurt was a squib. If she was also a muggle then why would she be help Lucius Malfoy of all people.

"Mother, vhy are you here?" Kurt demanded.

"I could ask you the same thing Kurt," she replied.

Behind them, Bellatrix coughed. "Now where is my dear sister Narcissa?" she asked, "It has been too long since I last saw her."

Lucius turned around to look at her. "She is out at Diagon Alley, she will be back in time for dinner I assure," he told her. "Now I will show you to the conservatory, we have much to discuss." He looked over to the two teenagers, "I will see you two at dinner, make sure you are properly dressed."

Mystique changed into her usual form, which made her blue with the same red hair she already had. "I would take off that stupid inducer if I was you, you're not in Bayville anymore," she told Kurt.

When they were gone, the young mutant slumped down so he was in a crouched, resting his arms on his knees. "Vhy did she have to be here," he groaned.

Harry stayed silent, as he didn't know what to say.

"He hates my appearance," Kurt growled as he turned off his image inducer, "but not vith my mothers, she ist blue like me."

"Well that's Lucius Malfoy for you, he only likes people he can exploit," Harry explained. He could sense that this thing with his mother was hurting him, he didn't know anything about her or what was going on, so he wouldn't mention anything about it.

"I left to get away from all that, but it follows here," Kurt groaned. "Vhy must she follow me here, Warum kann sie Mich nicht einfach allein lassen!"

Then BAMF! He was gone, leaving Harry somewhat bemused by the young mutants increased anger towards his mother.

Draco Malfoy was disgusted. He was disgusted by the fact that the only food in the whole place had been bought from a muggle shop. If he had his own money he'd go and get his own food from Diagon Alley. He didn't like any of it as it tasted of nastiness and he had never heard of a single brand name.

"Why can't we have gotten real food from Diagon Alley rather then this muggle crap," he moaned.

"Because we have a muggle supermarket nearby and I don't want any of you going to far from here," Sirius explained, "who knows you might even like it."

"Not bloody likely," Draco replied, folding his arms in disgust.

Ron was stood at the kitchen doorway, leaning against the doorframe. He was watching the impending argument with interest, but decided any argument would need a bit of encouragement. "What not enough caviar for you then?" he asked.

Draco sneered at him. "I bet even muggle food is too expensive for your family weasel," he remarked.

Backfiring, Ron realised. This would be the part where his anger would get the better of him. "Shut up Malfoy," he spat.

"Make me," the blond sneered.

"Oh I'll make you all right," he replied.

Sirius sighed, he realised these two were always going to be fighting and knew that there was only one thing for it. "This is not working," he said, glaring at the pair of them, "I am going to have the pair of you sent to Brazil."

Draco's only response was to sneer at him.

"Well then Draco, I shall see Santos about it right away then," he said before turning around only to find Hermione blocking his way.

"Do you think it's wise for you to throw them out like that, what would Professor Lupin say?" she told him, crossing her arms.

"Well if they were pissing him off and giving him a headache as big as mine, he'd do the same," he protested.

Hermione mumbled something as she left the room.

"This is your fault," Ron spat.

Draco went for the throat, but Ron was quick to duck away. Instead the blond tumbled to the ground, letting out a few curses as he hit ground hard.

"The soon they go, the better," they heard Sirius mumble from the next room.

"If we do end up at that Brazilian school then I don't want to see you at all," Draco scowled.

Ron said nothing as he left to join the others in the next room.

"Fine, fuck the lot of you then," Draco muttered under his breath.

He continued to sit on the floor for a couple of minutes, he hated the idea of being 'shipped' off to Brazil for arguing. 'Stupid Weasel,' he thought angrily.

Placing his hand on his wand, he thought about cursing Ron. The first one that came to mind was Crucio, but then even Sirius would gladly hand him over to the Ministry for that. Even more he had no intention of doing something his father taught him. Never again would he touch one of the unforgivable curses, not with them forever reminding him of his father.

"Maybe Brazil will do me good," he found himself saying without even thinking about it.

No one heard him say it, save for Kreacher who had been hiding in the kitchen to stay away from them. The house-elf feared he wound be made to give out secrets, secrets of Mrs Black. Ones he swore to her that he would never give out. He was loyal to her and her only, Sirius would get nothing out of him. Draco decided to get up and lock himself away in the room that had served as his private sanctuary since arriving at Grimmauld Place. It was the only place that he could be alone, it seemed like everywhere else he was going to be found by someone.

Meanwhile Sirius felt that he was getting a headache. Hopefully soon for his sake, Santos Gaia would come via Floo and sort out whether or not he could get them into Santos Rio De Brasilia. Considering what had happened at the rented house in Exeter, Remus had put charms up so that only members of the Order of the Phoenix and a select few others could Floo into Grimmauld Place, Santos of course being one of them. It was fortunate that the fireplace had never been disconnected from the Floo Network.

Sirius didn't even hear anyone come through the fireplace, his headache was getting to him enough to make sure that he wasn't really aware of anyone in the room. Only when a hand clamped down on his shoulder did he know, cause him to jump.

"So where are the troublemakers then?" the visitor asked.

"In their rooms sulking I guess," Sirius shrugged, "best place for them, keeps them out of my hair."

Santos smirked, "Then I am the bearer of good news," he told him. "My father has said that they are welcome to enroll at Santos Rio De Brasilia. There will be no problems at all from the Brazilian Ministry and the British Ministry can't interfere."

Sirius smiled weakly, "They will try to, I would expect," he said expectedly, "I just hope that the International Ministry don't get involved, I hate them. It's full of Yanks that just want what's best for America and screw the rest of the world."

"Like the muggles then," Santos remarked.

Draco appeared into the room and took one look at the Brazilian, "So the convict is kicking me out then," he scowled, coldly glaring at Sirius.

"No I'm not," he protested.

"No, you just have the option of attending that school in Brazil," Santos told him.

Draco rolled his eyes, as he saw it differently. He was being forced into agreeing to go to this school because the convict didn't want him around. It would be fine if he was going alone, but he somehow suspected that Ron and possibly Colin would be joining him there. Neither of them he particularly wanted to be near. He knew little about the school of course, so he hoped it would be like Hogwarts and would have a house system, that way he could get himself sort into one they weren't in.

"I would be surprised if Draco wasn't sorted into Colear," Santos remarked with a grin.

"Well I'll go pack then...wait I don't have anything, Harry fucking burned all my clothes," the blond yelled.

Santos sighed, he hoped that Draco wouldn't cause too much trouble for the school. "We will stop in Sao Paulo and get you new stuff," he said rolling his eyes. He the looked toward Sirius, "Can you get the others then, I want them to get settle in as quickly as possible so I don't miss training tomorrow," he said.

Draco stormed off, he wasn't really sure if being sent off to this Brazilian school was a good thing or not. Sure it would get him away from the escaped convict, but the Weasel and the mudblood would be joining him there. Then there was the fact he knew very little of the Brazilian school or of Brazil itself. Well he would soon find out and at least it would be a new experience for him.

~~~~~*~~~~~
Kurt was very nervous and Harry could tell. He was watching the young fidgeting with his tail, muttering something under his breath. They were stood outside two large wooden doors that would lead them into the Ball Room.
"Kurt it will be fine," he assured him.
The German teen let go of his tail, he was still looking around nervously. "But mien fur," he pointed out.
"Think how I feel," Harry then told him, "most of the people in that room probably wish to kill me for something I inadvertently did as a baby."
Kurt knew what he meant, but before either of them could say anymore the doors opened. They walked inside and were greeted with a large, brightly lit ballroom, which seemed a little strange to Harry since the manor was usually dark. Below them at the bottom of the stairs, they could see a sea of people watching them. The young mutant was even more nervous now, and he just knew that the witches and wizards below could tell he was.
Harry's eyes scanned the room. It was the first time he had seen so many Death Eaters in one place, at least he suspected that most were Death Eaters anyway. Lucius then stepped out in front of them at the top of the stairs. The young wizard noticed a lanky boy that looked very much like Draco was leaning against the bar, he nudged a grumpy looking brown haired boy that was stood next to him. He seemed to say something as he pointed up at them and the brown haired boy smirked.
"I wish to welcome you all to Voldemort's Ball," he announced, "but the Dark Lord shall be turning up later, as he and Erik have some prior business to attend to. In the meantime I wish to introduce to you the two boys that are currently staying at Malfoy Manor, Harry Potter and Kurt Wagner."
Murmurs filled the air when Harry's name was mention, but Harry himself hadn't taken notice of them. His attention was on the two boys that were still looking at them, talking to each other and laughing about something.
"Do you know those two?" he asked, nudging Kurt in the side.
Kurt the looked to where his friend pointed, "Sheiße!" he swore, "it ist Lance and Pietro, vhat are they doing here?"
Lance, the boy with brown hair, waved up at him, Kurt just closed his eyes in the false hope that they would just disappear or even better, they had not even been there at all. No such luck, Lucius had said nothing more and had instead made his way to the bottom of the stairs, to mingle with his guests.
"I guess we should do the same," Harry suggested.
Kurt grimaced, being in his natural form in front of so many people scared him, but it seemed that no one was bothered by his appearance. He wouldn't admit it but that did scare him somewhat, people had always been afraid of his appearance. These people weren't and he himself was scared by it.
"Come on, we can lose them in the crowd," Harry said, placing a hand on his friends shoulder.
Once at the bottom of the stair, Harry found himself become the centre of attention. He was crowded in by a group of men he suspected to be lesser Death Eaters, the ones outside of the Inner Circle.
"Has his mothers eyes," an old man with a long white beard commented.
"Defiantly his fathers son," another said.
Harry didn't like these people talking about his parents. These were the kind of people responsible for their deaths.
"Ah so this is Mrs Darkholme's son," a women commented, barging her way through the group of men.
Kurt was surprised when she grabbed his hand and shook it. "I am Elvira Cleese, I taught your mother how to control her powers when she was about your age," she told him with a smile.
He wasn't all that impressed. Looking at the old women, it sure did explain a lot about his mother's personality if this woman did teach her how to control her powers.
"Mrs Cleese, do you mind?" came Mystique's unmistakable voice, causing Kurt to sigh. "There are some things that I don't want you spreading around."
"Yes Mrs Darkholme," Elvira replied and disappeared into the crowd.
Mystique too was gone, just as quickly as she had appeared. Evidently something else had caught the eyes of the crowd as all of a sudden the pair of them were left alone. A hand placed itself on Kurt's shoulder, causing him to shudder.
"Ah bonjour mon bleu ami," came the voice of one of the Acolytes. "Remy be glad you change t'our side."
Only a few times had Kurt ever run into Remy LeBeau, being an Acolyte meant that the Cajun was his enemy. That was until now anyway. The blur furred mutant wanted to ask why his mother, an Acolyte and a couple of members of the Brotherhood were here at a wizard's ball, but he couldn't pluck up the courage to.
"Ah Remy be asked by your mother t'be your tutor," the Cajun told him with a smile.
"I don't need one," Kurt protested.
"Ah but Remy, he be good," he replied, "Remy heard about mon bleu ami's prank. Remy think it put Pyro to shame."
Kurt knew what Remy meant and the thought of that particular incident hurt him because of what it did to those he called his friends. "It vas not a prank, it vas an accident," he told him.
"You just keep telling yourself that you blue furred freak," a voice that Kurt knew belonged to Lance told him. "Kitty could have been dead because of you."
"Es war ein Unfall," he replied, not realising that he was talking in German. "Ich würden nie antasten Keety."
"English?" Lance demanded.
"It vas an accidnt," the blue mutant spat, "I vould never hurt Keety."
Lance raised his hand but it was quickly knocked away by Remy.
"Hey!" he growled.
"Not here," the Cajun warned him, "Magneto will kill you."
The brown haired mutant said nothing further and just stormed off. Kurt knew that that meant it was only a matter of time before Pietro came over, he dreaded any interaction with the lanky blond mutant here. He didn't like the fact that they now knew where he was, he could no longer use the manor to hide from neither the Brotherhood, nor the Acolytes. Who knew how long it would take for the X-men to find him now.
"Dies ist nicht Ereignis," Kurt sighed to himself.
Before anyone could say anything more, two figures appeared at the top of the stairs. Harry knew one to be Voldemort, Kurt knew the other to be Magneto.
Draco hated Santos Rio De Brasilia already. They had been there for no longer then an hour and they were already enrolled and ready to start the new school year, apart from being sorted into a new house. That meant they were in temporary accommodation elsewhere in the school. Evidently the school used the trees and various other plants of the Amazon rainforest to shape itself. It did no damage to the eco system and actually served as a protection for the rainforest in that area. He looked around at his temporary accommodation. It was at least very cosy and looking at the walls, one could not tell that they were shaped from the rainforest itself. Instead it looked like it could have been from any ordinary masonry. Still at least it was better then being at Grimmauld Place.
Ron found that he was going to like it at his new school. If the dorm rooms were like his temporary accommodation then he was going to feel right at home. He did fell guilty about leaving his family behind, especially with his parents being in Azkaban. He wanted to finish wizarding school properly and this was his only chance, he had to take it. Professor Dumbledore may have been forced to expel them, but Ron was sure that he would do everything in his power to get his parent out of the wizard's prison. Knowing the British Ministry he felt that that was increasingly unlikely.
Colin on the other hand didn't care either way. Especially since being expelled prevented him from being near the closest family he had left, his brother. He had relatives in Scotland and last he heard his cousin started a boarding school in America. She obviously had it better then he did. He didn't want to think about it.
Remus Lupin stood at the side of a road somewhere in Germany. Durmstrang was a no hoper as was other European, German speaking wizarding schools. The last school he had been to was one just outside of Winzledorf, he had no idea where else he could go. Unfortunately it was hard to tell people what the boy was like as he was only left with a picture of the boy in his memory. Maybe the International Ministry could help him them. As a motorcycle raced past him, he began to feel that the boy was out of place in the wizarding world. A familiar scent filled the air. Could the boy be a squib? No Lucius didn't associate with them.
With a squeal of tyres, Remus saw the motorbike stop before turning around. The rider stopped beside him and the familiar scent returned. The visor on the helmet flicked up and a pair of eyes looked at him.
"Remus, fancy meeting you here," the rider said.
"Logan, what are you doing here?" he asked.
"I could ask you the same thing Bub," Logan replied, taking off his helmet.
"Been what, twelve years?" the werewolf said, taking a step towards him.
"'Bout right," came the reply, "I hear old Uncle Voldie's back."
Remus grimaced at the reminder, though Logan's nickname for Voldemort did bring some humour to it. "Unfortunately he is, the Death Eaters are up to their old tricks and our Ministry are denying everything," he sighed. "So what brings you to Germany then Logan?"
"After a missing member of our team, we think he's come back to his foster parents," Logan told him, before sniffing. "And I smell the little elf on you."
Remus raised his eyebrows, maybe he had just found who the boy from Diagon Alley was.
