Chapter 3 - Detention

A couple of days later Ginny was sitting at the Gryffindor table having dinner when Hermione sat down beside her.

"What are you looking at? Or should I say, who are you looking after?" Hermione smiled knowingly.

"What are you talking about?" Ginny blushed.

"Oh, you know what I mean. You were searching for Malfoy."

"No, I wasn't!"

"Yes you were! I've seen the way you've been looking at him."

"What way?"

"Oh, you know what I mean. You like him, admit it."

"I have never looked at him like that! Maybe once or twice without complete loathing, but not like that." Ginny paused. "Have I?"

"Yes you have. So... have you talked to him since Wednesday night?"

"No. What would we talk about anyway? We have nothing in common. And, besides, he made it clear that it wasn't anything more than a one night thing, and Blaise and he are back together now."

"Are you sure? I mean I didn't know they were together before and wouldn't Malfoy make a big deal of it if he had a girlfriend? Especially someone as beautiful as Blaise?"

Ginny made a face.

"Not that she is prettier than you, of course."

"Of course. He might not make it a big deal, because of his father, though. I don't think Lucius thinks Blaise is appropriate for his son. At least, that was the picture I got...."

"Well, you could always ask him...."

"Hermione! Why can't you just let it go?"

"Because you really seem to like him."

Ginny tried to change the subject. "No, I don't. So... how are things going with Harry?"

"It's the same. We're trying to get back to being friends. He seems to be having some difficulties with that, though. I'm not sure that we'll be able to go back to the way we were."

"He'll get over it, over you. And then you can be friends again, that's what you want, right?"

"I'm not sure what I want him to do. I don't know what I want anymore."

*********************************

"Hey Weasley! Wait for me!" Ginny turned around and to her surprise she saw Draco running through the corridor. When he reached her he just stood there panting for a couple of seconds.

"Wow, you walk fast... I've been trying to catch up with you since the 4th floor. Didn't you hear me yelling?"

"No, I must have been too busy thinking about the Spring Ball, have you heard about it? They put up the posters today."

"Yes, Blaise is in the party committee so I have been hearing about it since before Christmas. Did you know it took them three weeks to decide what colour combination to use for the lights? There were two possibilities, green and yellow or a lighter green and white." Draco stopped for a dramatic pause.

"Which one did they decide on?"

"It's top secret and if it comes out, Blaise will kill me."

Ginny giggled. "I think I can keep a secret."

"Ok, just remember that I'm trusting you with my life..." He leaned forward and Ginny almost thought he was going to kiss her. Instead he whispered in her ear, "They chose the lighter green and white lights. Blaise wanted yellow. She was furious for days and wouldn't talk to Pansy for a whole week. The white lights were Pansy's idea."

"How terrible. But it all ended well?"

"No, now they're fighting about napkins. Do you want to go grab a coffee in Hogsmeade or something? It's Saturday, a Hogsmeade weekend and I have nothing to do."

"What about Blaise? Won't she get mad?"

"Probably, but this has nothing to do with her."

"Aren't the two of you a couple?"

"No, who told you that?"

"Blaise. She also told me that she'd kill me if I didn't stay the hell away from you."

"I guess she just forgot to mention it to me then. Look Weasley, Blaise and I are not together, we have never been together and I don't have any plans on getting together with her. So... are you coming with me to Hogsmeade, or not?"

"Ok, but no drinking. I have a huge pile of homework that's waiting for me when I get back."

"No drinking. Ok."

They started walking towards Hogsmeade chatting about everything from Quidditch and the next big game to the Spring Ball and the gossip about who was going with whom. When they came to Hogsmeade they went to the Three Broomsticks to have a couple of Butterbeers.

"You know that everyone will find out about us having Butterbeers together, right?" Ginny asked when they'd sat down at a table in the corner, "Blaise, my brothers, Harry, Hermione, probably even your father sooner or later."

Draco nodded. "Probably sooner if I know my father. Does that bother you?"

"Not really. I mean I can handle Blaise, I hope. And I'll try to keep Ron from beating you to a pulp and you'll take care of your father, right?"

"Right. Or I'll talk to my mother, so she can get him calmed down." Draco sighed and finished his Butterbeer. "So... What do you want to do now? Do you mind going to Zonko's? I could use something that'd make it easy to skip class."

"You should try my brothers' stuff. It's much better than Zonko's and it's cheaper. Not that money is a problem for you."

"No, not really. So...your brothers wouldn't mind selling me some of their stuff, would they?"

"Oh, they would probably be happy to. They've opened their own shop in the Diagon Alley. They're actually doing quite well. I could ask them to send me something that will fulfil your needs." She rose from the chair. "Now let's go to Honeydukes and buy some sweets. I'm going to need something to eat while I'm doing my homework."

They went down the road towards Honeydukes and were just about to enter the shop when Harry, Ron and Hermione came out. At first there was a shocked silence, from which Ron recovered first.

"What the hell are you doing with my sister, Malfoy?!!"

"We were having a couple of Butterbeers and now we're on our way to buy some sweets. Then we were planning to go back to my room and have sex." Draco smiled sweetly. "What are your plans for the rest of the day?"

Ron tried to throw himself at Draco, but Harry held him back.

"He's just trying to wind you up, Ron! You really shouldn't get into any more fights or you'll get in trouble. Remember what McGonagall said the last time?" Ron seemed to calm down a bit, but Harry didn't dare release his grip of his shirt yet. "Ginny wouldn't go on a date with Malfoy. They were probably just walking through the door at the same time. Am I right, Ginny?"

Ginny looked up at him. It would be so easy to lie, to say that Harry was right. That was what they wanted to hear and they would believe her, except for Hermione of course, but she wouldn't tell the boys. Everyone would be happy and Ron wouldn't get into another fight with Draco.

"I..." She looked at Draco, as if to ask him what to do, but he didn't look at her. He kept his eyes fixed on Harry who was still concentrating on keeping Ron back. Ginny looked at Hermione instead. She looked back and gave Ginny an encouraging smile.

"I..." Everyone looked up at her and suddenly Ginny decided to just go for it and see what happened. "Draco's right. We were having a couple of Butterbeers together."

"What??!" Harry was so surprised that he let go of Ron; luckily Ron was too shocked to do anything, but stare at Ginny in disbelief. Only Draco seemed totally unmoved by what she had just said. Hermione looked like she really wanted to be somewhere else. Ginny turned to Ron. "And no, Ron, we were not going to go back to his room afterwards."

Harry recovered first. "I don't know what you think you're doing Malfoy, but this is way over the line. It's one thing that you always try to get to me, but using my friends and especially Ginny is more than I'm going to put up with!" Harry took a threatening step forward and so did Draco. Both Hermione and Ginny stepped between them.

Hermione put both her arms around Harry and tried to hold him back. "Harry, you definitely don't want to get into another fight with Malfoy! You can't afford to get into any more fights this term either, at least not this week!"

"Oh, I think I'm willing to risk it!"

"Harry, stop it!" Ginny snapped at him, "I can take care of myself and if I want to go on a date with Malfoy it's my business."

"But Ginny, this is Malfoy we're talking about! Draco Malfoy, the one whose father gave you that diary a couple of years ago. Remember? You can not seriously tell me that you trust him?"

"I would have thought that you, of all people wouldn't be so quick to judge people. Especially not based on something their parents have done."

"Look, Potter? She's defending me. Why don't you just go home so McGonagall doesn't make you write lines on the chalkboard? Or worse, writes to your parents... oh that's right, you don't have any parents!"

Harry broke free from Hermione's grip and threw himself violently at Draco. Ginny screamed. Ron gave her a look before jumping into the fight to help Harry. For a two against one fight Draco was doing quite well. This was partly because the three boys were so entangled with each other that Harry and Ron were occasionally hitting the other and partly because Draco wasn't so blind with fury that he couldn't avoid the other boy's hits. But Draco was still only one person and he knew he'd probably end up getting hurt if someone didn't interfere soon. As if an answer to his prayers Professors Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape and Flitwick came walking down the street.

Ginny saw them and yelled, "Professors! We could use some help!" They looked up and came running towards them. The boys stopped fighting. Ron looked accusingly at Ginny, but Draco gave her a grateful look.

"Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley, come with me right now! Mr. Malfoy, go with Professor Snape!" McGonagall looked furious. She turned to Harry and Ron. "Didn't I tell you at the end of last term that if you got into any more fights I would have to start using stronger methods? And still, here you are, fighting with Mr Malfoy, again."

"Actually Minerva, if you don't mind I would like to talk to the boys." Dumbledore looked so severe that Harry became worried. Surely he couldn't expel them for this? The three boys followed him in silence. Harry's lip was bleeding and he was going to get a black eye, Draco had a cut just over his eyebrow and seemed to have hurt his leg, but Ron appeared to be pretty much unharmed.

Ginny and Hermione just stood there and watched them walk towards the castle.

"Maybe the two of you should return to the Gryffindor tower and wait for your friends there," McGonagall said. "It'll probably take a while and I'm sure you two have something better to do than standing here."

The girls nodded and walked in silence towards the school. After they got to the Gryffindor common room and had thrown themselves in a couple of chairs, Ginny was the first to break the silence.

"That went well. I wonder how my other brothers will take the news."

"I thought the two of you had decided that you wouldn't see each other."

"We had, but then he just asked me to Hogsmeade and I thought it'd be fun, which it was, until we met the three of you at least. Do you think there's a chance they'll ever get along?"

"Who? Ron and Draco? Never. Harry and Draco? Who knows?"

Ginny sighed and the girls returned to watching the fire in silence.

****************************

When they got to the Headmaster's office, Dumbledore sat down behind his desk leaving the three boys standing in front of it. He just watched them for a couple of moments before he said anything.

"I'm very disappointed in the three of you and I'm afraid that I have to give all of you detention. You have gotten enough warnings this year already. Mr. Weasley will help Professor Snape clean his test tubes. Mr. Malfoy and Mr. Potter will be helping me with something. Mr. Weasley you should be at Professor Snape's office at seven o'clock tonight and tomorrow too if Professor Snape can find more work for you. You may go now Mr Weasley."

Ron gave Harry a look before turning towards the door. When Ron had disappeared Dumbledore turned back towards the two boys remaining. "And if the two of you would come with me, please." He opened a little door at the other end of the room. It led to a corridor with many doors. Professor Dumbledore opened one to the left and they walked in to a little room that looked like it hadn't been used for centuries. The floor was covered in a thick layer of dust and there were spider webs everywhere. Harry sneezed.

"I want the two of you to clean up this room, no magic. I won't let you out until it's done. I will bring you some food when it's time for dinner." He started to walk towards the door. "Oh, I almost forgot." He snapped his fingers and two mops, two brooms and two buckets of water appeared. "The water will change itself when it's dirty." With that he closed the door and the two boys heard him turn the key in the lock.

Harry grabbed one of the brooms and started to sweep down the spider webs from the ceiling. "Let's get this over with, shall we?"

"I'm not going to touch those spiders!"

"Don't tell me you're afraid of spiders!"

"I'm not. I'm just not very fond of them, that's all."

"Whatever you say, Malfoy, whatever you say."

Draco said something that Harry couldn't quite catch, but he had a feeling it wasn't something very pleasant. Then Draco grabbed the other broom, stomped to the other end of the room and began to sweep away the spider webs very carefully. They worked in silence for a while, but suddenly Draco screamed and started jumping around.

"What is it, Malfoy?"

Draco was busy jumping around and swearing and didn't answer for a while. Finally he looked up. "I've got a spider down my shirt. You have to help me get rid of it!" he said in a dejected voice.

"No way am I putting my hand inside your shirt! Just take of your shirt and shake it!"

Draco looked amused. "We've only been inside this room for, what? Ten minutes and already you're asking me to take my shirt off." He took a step closer. "Oh, c'mon! Don't be such a baby. I would do it for you!"

"Oh, I'm sure you would!" Harry looked at Draco, who stood there looking pleadingly at him. "Ok, fine, I'll do it. If you stop acting like you're five years old."

Draco smiled broadly at him. "Great! Hurry up before it finds its way down my pants because then we'll have a much bigger issue."

Harry took a step forward and put his hand into Draco's t-shirt with a disgusted look on his face. Harry found the spider and pulled out his hand as fast as he could. He held out the spider to Draco. "Here it is. Now we'll go back to work and never mention this incident again."

"Oh c'mon, I know you liked it." Draco smiled. "Thanks." He turned to his broom again and continued sweeping the ceiling in silence.

They had worked in silence for about an hour when Draco suddenly asked, "So... there really isn't anything going on between you and Weasley?" Harry looked surprised. "Ginny, I mean. Not Ron," Draco added as an afterthought.

Harry looked searchingly at him. "No, we're just friends. Why?"

"So, if you don't like her like that, then why is it such a big deal if she wants to date me?"

"I still care a lot about her. Not to mention, I neither like you nor trust you."

"Right."

The boys continued working in silence. After about half an hour a serving dish with sandwiches and two glasses of pumpkin juice appeared in the middle of the floor. The boys sat down on the floor trying not to get too much dust on the sandwiches and started eating.

When they'd eaten for a while Harry said, "Look, we should probably try not to get into any more fights. Next time we're going to be in serious trouble and I don't think either of us has time for more detentions, besides I had this New Year's resolution to hit people less."

Draco looked surprised. "I had the same one." He smiled. "We're doing great so far. So... if we're not fighting and enemies, then what are we?"

"We're people who... have met."

"Great. And now we should finish this so we'll get out of here. I have lots of homework to do tomorrow."

Harry rose from the floor. "Yeah, me too." They started cleaning the floor.

*****************************

Ginny and Hermione were sitting by the fire in the Gryffindor common room. Ron had just left to go help Snape and Harry still hadn't come back. Hermione was twirling a curl of her hair around her finger nervously.

"He's fine, Hermione! Stop it; you're making me nervous, too. Dumbledore wouldn't let them hurt each other. He probably put them together as a punishment. He did tell Ron they were going to do something for him so I'm sure they're perfectly safe."

"Yeah, I know. It's just that... well it's Harry. I always worry about him."

"I know you do. But Draco isn't really that bad and I'm sure Dumbledore wouldn't let them hurt each other... seriously."

"I hope you're right...."

********************************

"Right," Harry said and finished the last corner of the room. "We're finished. Now... how do we get out of here?"

"Hello! We're finished!" Draco yelled.

They listened for an answer, but there was only silence.

After about a minute Harry yelled, "Professor Dumbledore, please let us out!"

Total silence followed. "Great. It looks like we'll be in here all night." Draco sighed and sat down on the floor. "Do you know any good stories?"

Harry sighed and then, to his own surprise, started telling Draco about the time Ron, Fred and George had stolen their father's car to get him away from the Dursleys. Then he told Draco the rest of the story and how the car was now living in the Forbidden forest like a wild animal.

Then Draco told Harry about the time Blaise and he had broken into Snape's room and stole his photograph signed by Exotic Esmeralda. Snape had been furious, but since he couldn't admit that he had had a photo of her he hadn't been able to punish anyone for the loss of it. When Draco came to the part about how Snape had tried to sneak around the Slytherin Common room searching for the picture, Harry was laughing so hard that he tripped over.

"I can't believe I missed that. I almost regret that I didn't let the hat sort me into Slytherin!" Harry was surprised with himself for revealing this to Draco Malfoy of all people, but what difference would it make anyway. It wasn't like he was uncertain of his place in Gryffindor. It really didn't matter if people found out that the hat had considered putting him into Slytherin.

"The hat wanted to sort you into Slytherin? But you're the most Gryffindor-y person I've ever met!"

"I know, weird huh? What about you, then? The hat didn't think long before it put you in Slytherin."

"No, it didn't bother to. All it said was 'and another Malfoy. I'll place you in Slytherin' and I was happy because that was how it was supposed to be. I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have been in Ravenclaw instead. Even though Slytherin is the best house, but it would really have shocked my father if I'd ended up somewhere else. Though he doesn't get shocked very often."

Harry didn't say anything for a while. He was wondering what it was like to have Lucius Malfoy as your father. From what he had seen of the man, Harry didn't think that it would be so nice, but then again neither was living with the Dursleys.

"Yes, I've gotten that picture of him," Harry finally replied.

"Oh yes, you met him when you freed our house-elf. He was really angry, and as usual he took it out on me. You really made that an awful summer for me!"

"Sorry about that." And Harry found that he really was. Not about freeing Dobby, of course, but about destroying Draco's summer. This had turned out to be a really weird evening.

"Well, I'm used to it." Draco shrugged. "But if we're going to be here all night we should probably try to get some sleep. It must be around midnight already."

"Ok, I'll take the place in front of the door so if anyone comes to let us out I'll wake up."

"Sounds good."

Harry started to take his shoes off and leaned against the door while doing so. It opened and he fell out into the corridor with a surprised scream. Draco looked up. "Did we ever check that the door was still locked when we finished?"

"No, I suppose we didn't," Harry answered from the floor.

"So, that means we have probably been sitting here a couple of hours extra."

"Well, it wasn't too bad actually, but I think this should be another one of those things that we tell no one about."

They walked carefully through the corridor and opened the door to the Headmaster's office. It was empty. Draco looked around fascinated. He hadn't had any time to look at the office properly before. Harry pulled on his sleeve. "I think we should get out of here before we get into more trouble, don't you?"

Draco nodded and gave the room one last look before they descended the stairs. When they'd reached the bottom they stopped.

"Well, we'll be going different directions now," Draco said. "So... good night, Potter! It was actually kind of fun. Not that I will ever admit it to anyone in public should you bring it up."

"Good night."

Draco turned away and started walking towards the stairs.

"Oh, and Malfoy! I just thought you should know that if you want to date Ginny then I'm fine with it."

Draco almost looked surprised, but he recovered quickly. "Well, thank you. See you around!" And with that he disappeared into the shadows.

When Harry climbed through the portrait hole and into the Gryffindor common room the first thing he saw was Hermione, Ginny and Ron sleeping on the chairs in front of the fire. Hermione woke at the sound of the portrait hole closing behind Harry. She jumped up from the chair and hugged him tightly.

"Harry! I've been so worried!"

"Why? I've only been cleaning one of Dumbledore's rooms."

"Yeah, with Malfoy! And besides, I didn't know that. You could have been doing anything! And you were gone for quite a while." She blushed. "I know it sounds stupid."

"No, it doesn't. But Malfoy really isn't that bad. We actually sort of had fun."

"Ginny will be pleased to hear that."

"Hear what?" Ginny had woken up too and looked around sleepily. "Oh, Harry, you're back." She gave him a sulky look.

"Yes, and I'm sorry about what happened earlier today. I shouldn't have reacted the way I did." He smiled looking a bit embarrassed. "But if you didn't want us to get into a fight you could have told me about the two of you when he wasn't present."

"Yes, I know. I'm sorry too. The last thing you needed was to get into any more fights, actually it was the last thing any of you needed. So... How did it go? Is Draco still in one piece?"

"We actually almost had fun. I guess Malfoy is ok and if you want to date him that's fine with me. Just don't tell Ron that I said that!"

Ginny gave him a big hug. "Thank you! Not that I wouldn't have dated him anyway if you hadn't approved, but it still means a lot to me that you're ok with it."

"Now we should get to bed," Hermione said. "Harry, you should wake Ron up so he can sleep in his own bed."

"Alright. Good night, girls. See you tomorrow."

"Night, Harry!"

******************************

Draco was feeling pretty good about himself. He had gotten Potter to start liking him without even trying and he'd managed to stay away from Blaise the whole morning. He didn't know what she'd heard about him and Ginny or the fight, but he was sure that she wouldn't be too happy about it.

He was just turning around a corner when he heard a voice behind him. "Draco! Draco, wait for me!"

Think of the devil, he thought to himself and turned around to wait for Blaise.

"You aren't trying to avoid me, are you? I haven't seen you since yesterday morning!"

"No, of course not. Why would I try to avoid you?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because you went on another date with Weasley yesterday? Even when you told me you wouldn't."

"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't plan to go to Hogsmeade with her. It just happened."

"You lied to me!" Blaise was screaming now. It was only a matter of time until she would start throwing things at him.

"Shhh, Blaise, let's go to an empty class room to talk before we get an audience."

Blaise wasn't listening to him. "...AND you were gone the whole night. Were you with her then, too?"

That was when Harry decided to walk around the corner. He collided with Draco. "Ouch, Potter! Watch it will you?"

"Sorry, I just came to tell you that we're supposed to continue our detention in about..." He looked at his watch. "...two minutes."

"Are we?" Harry winked at him and tried to make him understand. "Oh, yes. We are. I almost forgot. We'd better hurry. Dumbledore doesn't like to be kept waiting. See you later Blaise!"

"Thanks for saving me!" Draco said when they'd walked around the corner and down the hall for a while. "Blaise can get a bit wild sometimes. She enjoys making scenes."

"I see. So, what are you doing now? Do you want to see Ginny? Because I just may be able to arrange that."

"It's good that you're fine with us dating, which I'm not sure we are, but please stay out of it. It's none of your business."

"Fine. I was just asking. She could use some time away from her brother. Ron is definitely not alright with the idea of the two of you dating."

Draco made a face. "Yes, I kind of got that idea yesterday when he tried to kill me. You could talk to him, you know. I'm sure he'd listen to you."

"I thought that you didn't want me to be involved in your 'business' with Ginny."

"I don't. I want you involved in my business with the other Weasleys."

"Right. Well, I suppose I could try talking to him. I can't make any promises, though. He doesn't like you very much."

"Oh, he's just afraid of his love for me. I'll see you later!"

"Yeah, see you!"

***************************

When Harry returned to the Common room he found Hermione and Ron yelling at each other.

"How can you even suggest that I let my sister date that... that Slytherin! He's evil, Hermione, and Ginny is still so young!"

"Ginny is just one year younger than you. She's old enough to make her own decisions, and her own mistakes. And Malfoy can't be that bad if Ginny likes him."

"Oh yeah? That doesn't mean anything!" He lowered his voice. "Remember our second year? Ginny always falls in love with the wrong guys."

"She's grown a lot since then, and besides, everyone makes mistakes. That doesn't mean she'll always be wrong about people!"

"You're very forgiving considering that it almost got you killed!"

"It wasn't Ginny's fault!"

"I know that. I'm just saying that she is too trusting. She isn't old enough to know how evil people can be."

"Oh, and you know? I would say that she knows at least as well as you what people can be like! And even if she didn't there's nothing that gives you the right to make decisions for her. The only thing you're going to achieve is making her angrier with you. Let her do what she wants!"

"But he's evil Hermione, you know that, right?"

"No, actually I don't know him at all! And neither do you!" She calmed down a bit. "And besides, Harry says his alright and I trust Harry."

"Of course you do! You would do anything for him!"

"And so would you! That's what you do for your friends!"

"I think it's a little bit more than that!"

At that point Harry felt it necessary to make them aware of his arrival. He cleared his throat. "Hi, sorry to interrupt, but I thought it was getting a bit out of hand."

Hermione blushed. "Oh, Harry, we didn't hear you come in."

"No, if we had heard you we would have asked you for your opinion." Ron gave Harry a searching look. "What do you think about Malfoy, these days?"

"He's ok, I guess. I've realized that we hardly know him at all. It's kind of hard to hate someone you don't know."

"But we do know him, Harry! At least well enough to see that he's disagreeable and evil. You used to think that too, remember? He's the son of Lucius Malfoy! How nice can he be?"

"We don't know that's the problem. Look, Ron, I didn't say that we should immediately invite him over to spend the summer holidays with us, or that we have to like him, or trust him for that matter, but don't you think that we should at least give him a chance before we decide that we hate him. And if it doesn't work out we'll at least know our enemy better. You don't have to hang out with him, but give him a chance. For Ginny's sake."

"Yes, Ron," Hermione joined in. "Do you know how much it would mean to Ginny if you accepted the fact that she likes Malfoy?"

"I'm sorry, I just can't do it. And I will never understand how the two of you can! I'm going to go be somewhere else so I don't catch the I-love-Malfoy-disease that seems to be spreading around here." And with that he climbed out the portrait hole and disappeared.

Harry turned to Hermione. "That went well. Now Ron is going to do everything he can to not like Malfoy. Not that it seems very hard for him in the first place." Harry sighed and sank down in a chair.

"He'll calm down. But anyways I was wondering, Harry, do you want to go together to the Spring Ball?" Harry looked surprised. "As friends, of course," Hermione added.

"As friends... Yeah, sure. It's not like I have someone else to go with anyway, but what about Ron?"

"What about him?"

"If the two of us go together that'll leave him alone, won't it?"

"I can fix him up with someone."

"Oh, I'm sure he'll love that."

"I'll find someone suitable. And I'll make sure he doesn't find out it was me who fixed it and it'll be fine."

"It sounds like you already have someone in mind."

"Yes, I do." Hermione smiled. "They'll be perfect for each other!"

"Who is it?"

"Have some patience, Harry... you can see for yourself at the ball."
