Author's Note:
I’m sorry these chapters took so long to complete, but in my defense I have been away all week end and couldn't take my computer with me, not to mention I’ve actually got flu. So I’m sorry now if not everything here makes sense. Enjoy :-) Also thanks to Erin for BETA reading for me! You're a lifesaver

Chapter five: Visiting hours

Draco sat on the bed, fingering the embedded text of the head boy badge in disbelief. How can I be head boy?

Harry sat down on the bed next to his lover. "What's wrong?"

Draco titled his head and looked at Harry, then smiled slightly. "Nothing. I just can't believe I'm head boy, I mean I always thought that it would be you, not me."

"I'm glad someone else is head boy. I probably wouldn't have the time this year, anyway." Harry paused for a minute, before adding, "What did Dumbledore say?"

"He just said that I'm head boy and I have my own room, far away from the Slytherins. Did you tell him about us?"

Harry shook his head, "No why?"

"Listen," he picked up the letter. "No member of the opposite sex is allowed into either dormitory after official lights out. Although given your circumstances I may need to alter this rule slightly, but for now I shall trust you and Mr. Potter.," he read. "If you didn't tell him, how'd he know?"

Harry shrugged. "I don't know, but he always has a way of finding things out before other people do, doesn't he?"

"Yeah I guess he does." Draco replied, looking at the letter again. That was when he noticed something he hadn't before. "Harry? It says here that you told Dumbledore you'd buy me my school books and stuff. Did you?"

"Of course I did," Harry replied simply. "How else did you expect to buy new robes and books?"

"But Harry," he stammered. "IÂ…I can't let you do that. I mean it's your money, to spend on you and your lifeÂ…"

Harry put a finger on Draco's lips, silencing him, "Shush. I know that money has to last me until I get a job and it's to spend on me and my life, but you're a part of my life now. So I'm spending it on you, no buts."

Draco reached up and took Harry's hand away from his lips, holding it in his. "Thank you," he said, looking directly into Harry's eyes.

"You're welcome," he replied kissing Draco on the lips.

Later that day, Harry and Draco were out in the garden, sitting under the large tree by the fence. They finally had some time alone, for the first time since Draco had arrived. Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon had taken Dudley out to get something for school, or something like that anyway, Harry hadn't been paying attention. They could have spent the day inside, but as the sun was shining brightly, they both decided to get out of the house.

"You need a tan," Harry said, stroking Draco's hair away from his eyes.

"Why?"

Harry looked down at Draco, who had his head on Harry's lap, "You're too pale."

"Thanks. Jeez Harry, you sure know how to flatter a guy," he remarked sarcastically.

Just then a huge black dog came bounding over the fence and landed in front of Harry and Draco. The dog looked very familiar to Harry. "Sirius?" he asked in disbelief.

Draco sat up; looked at Harry, then the dog - which looked a lot like a grim - then back to Harry, "Harry? What are you on about? That's not Sirius, that's a dog."

"Your powers of perception amaze me, Draco." Sirius, who had just transformed back from his Animagi form, said.

Draco stared at Sirius, his eyes as wide as saucers. "You're an Animagi?"

"Didn't I tell you?" Harry asked Draco, then turned his attention back to Sirius. "What are you doing here?"

"Can't a man visit his Godson and his Godson's boyfriend once in a while?" he asked with a grin. "Anyway Dumbledore sent me to check on you two."

"Check on us?" Draco repeated in disbelief. "Why?"

"Umm, I don't really know why. But I assume it has something to do with Luc-" he broke off as he caught sight of Harry, who was shaking his head at him. "I mean I don't know why. I imagine Dumbledore wants to keep both of you safe until you get back to school."

Draco looked at Sirius dubiously; he knew what Sirius was really going to say to him. He was going to say it has something to do with Lucius. What does he want now? He's already got rid of me isn't that enough? But inside, Draco knew that getting rid of him wasn't enough. If he knew Lucius, he wanted him dead for dishonouring the Malfoy family name. To Lucius, the family name was more important than following your heart and being able to love whomever you chose.

For the next hour all three of them sat under the tree talking, with Sirius leaning against the fence next to Harry, and Draco sitting on Harry's knee. Around five, Sirius decided he had better be going, he didn't want the Dursley's to find him and report him to the police. After all, he was technically still an escaped convict. He transfigured back into a dog and leapt back over the fence, leaving Harry and Draco alone in the garden.

Then Harry heard the car pull up, in the driveway at the front of the house. He gently shoved Draco off his lap, but not before giving him a quick kiss on the lips. As soon as Draco had got of Harry's knee the back door opened and Dudley came out. "Ready for part two of the plan?" Harry asked, under his breath. Draco nodded, "Give me five minutes and then come back out and get me."

Harry nodded in agreement and got up, "Good luck," he muttered, walking past Dudley into the house.

"Hi, Dudley."

"Hi, Draco. What are you doing out here?"

Draco shrugged. "Oh nothing really, just thinking, and then Harry came out and started talking about the girls he likes at school." Draco knew this was the biggest lie possible, after all Harry obviously didn't like any girls at school.

Draco looked up at Dudley and shuddered for effect. "I just don't understand what he sees in them. I mean, all girls care about is hair, make-up, hair and more make-up. That sort of thing doesn't really appeal to me. How about you?"

Dudley stood, dumbstruck for a moment before realizing what Draco was implying. "UmÂ…UmÂ… Well, no. I guess I don't like any of that stuff either," he replied, blushing as beetroot red as Ron did.

"I wish there was someone out there who understood me as good as you do, Dudley." Draco said, desperately trying to keep a straight face.

Before Dudley had a chance to answer Harry stuck his head out through the door. "Dray! Come on."

Draco stood up and walked past Dudley, patting him on the shoulder. "See you later Dudley," he said, then walked into the house.

He stepped into the house and closed the door behind him.

"Do you think he fell for it?" Harry asked, inching closer to the blonde boy in front of him.

"He certainly acted like he didÂ… oh, by the way, if he asks, you like girls, okay?"

Harry scrunched up his nose in disgust. "Girls? Why do I get stuck with liking girls?"

"Stop whining, we both know it's just for show."

Harry didn't respond, he stood where he was and pouted. Draco sighed.

"Stop acting like a baby. You know you don't really like girls, and I know that you don't either. Or would you like to come upstairs with me and prove it?" he asked with a devilish smile.

Harry smiled and nodded, and they both went upstairs to their room. When they reached it, they found that their room was already occupied byÂ…

"Dobby?" both Harry and Draco said in unison.

Sitting on the bed was a small creature, with bat-like ears and bulging green eyes, a house elf. Harry closed the door behind them and locked it, before turning back to the creature on the bed. "Dobby? What are you doing here?"

"I is visiting Harry Potter. Harry Potter said Dobby visit him anytime, so here Dobby is." Dobby paused and looked at Draco who stood leaning against the wall, his face pale. "Although I wasn't expecting to see young Malfoy here."

Harry looked over at Draco, who was still pale and realized that Dobby used to be the Malfoy's house elf before Harry set him free in his second year. How could he have forgotten? He was bound to bring back memories of his father, and everything else. "UmÂ… DobbyÂ… now's not really a good time. You see my aunt and uncle are downstairs and they don't like anything magical, so can you pleaseÂ…" Harry found he couldn't say it, he couldn't ask Dobby to leave. So instead he left the sentence open, hoping that Dobby would get the message. Thankfully he did. "Dobby is understanding, Dobby not want to get Harry Potter into trouble. Dobby come to tell you to be careful at Hogwarts. Dobby hears things in the school, bad things are going to happen. Harry Potter must be careful." Then with a wave to Harry, Dobby disappeared with a 'pop'.

Harry turned to Draco, who had regained some colour, although he was slightly paler than normal, still. Harry held out his hand to him, which Draco took, "Are you okay?"

Draco shook his head, and sat down. "I don't think so." He paused. "Do you have any idea what he was going on about?"

Harry sat down next to Draco and sighed. "No. The last time he visited me here, he came to warn me that terrible things would be happening at school. He was right as well, that was the year the Chamber of Secrets was re-opened."

"So what do you think he means?"

"Honestly? I haven't got a clue, back in second year I didn't even figure out whose house elf he was, let alone why he had come." He paused and looked at Draco, who was looking away from Harry, "What's wrong?"

"No-nothing. What makes you think that?" he stammered.

"Draco, you're avoiding looking at me and don't seem to want to say what's really bothering you."

Draco sighed and looked back at Harry, "Fine. You know back in second year, when Dobby first came? Well I know who sent him, after all he was a Malfoy house elf."

"Who?"

"Me." He sighed again, and shook his head, "Lucius told me that the Chamber of Secrets was going to be opened again and that whatever was in there was going to attack the Muggle-borns. I knew that Hermione was a Muggle-born and that she'd be in danger, so I sent Dobby here to tell you not to come back to Hogwarts. I knew that if you found out something bad was going to happen at school you'd come back and try to help out, you always did, even though Dobby asked you not to. Even I didn't know what was in the Chamber of Secrets, but I knew that at least with Dobby's warning you would have an idea that something bad was going to happen."

Harry waited until Draco had finished before asking, "But if you sent him why did he keep hitting himself over the head when he nearly revealed something he thought he shouldn't?"

"Truthfully, I don't know. But what I do know is that house elves only take orders from the head of the family that owns them, and I was the one that sent him, not Lucius. So I suppose he hit himself because he was doing something he wasn't supposed to. I couldn't let you get hurt, Harry."

Harry chuckled. "I'm glad you couldn't," he pulled Draco onto his knee, with his legs on either side of Harry. Then he kissed him softly, showing Draco how much he was loved and wanted.

At dinner Harry found that he didn't have much of an appetite, which probably had something to do with Draco. He was sitting directly opposite Dudley, and kept looking up at him when he knew Dudley was looking. Harry didn't know what disturbed him most, the fact that his lover was flirting with his cousin, or the fact that Dudley seemed to have fallen for it, and looked like he thought it was real. Of course, only Harry and Draco, and now Sirius, knew the truth.

Harry was stood alone in his room getting ready for bed, when Draco came in. As soon as the door was shut Draco fell onto the bed in a fit of giggles.

"What's wrong with you?" Harry asked, laughing at Draco.

"Dudley. He's so stupid, it's so obvious I don't like him, but he seems to have fallen for it, hook line and sinker. Who ever thought of this plan was a genius," he gasped, wiping his eyes.

"Dray! It was your idea, and you're no genius." Harry teased.

"Yes I am. You're just jealous because I'm smarter than you."

"Is that so?" Harry asked, seductively, "I beg to differ." Then he pushed Draco down on the bed, and climbed on top of him, his legs straddling Draco's waist. He leaned forward, so his chest was flat on top of Draco's, and placed a fiery kiss on Draco's mouth.

Chapter six: The grande finale

Harry groaned as Draco asked him, "So you remember the plan?"

"Yes Dray, I remember. Now can we please get this over with? They'll be home soon, and then we've got finish getting our stuff ready before the taxi comes."

It was August 28th, there was only three more days left of the summer and Dumbledore had given the boys permission to spend them in the Leaky Cauldron. Draco had spent the majority of the week making eyes at Dudley, and flirting with him whenever he got the chance. This was their last day with the Dursleys, and Draco and Harry had something 'special' planned.

"Well come then, lover boy," Draco said, kissing Harry's nose.

Then they walked out of their bedroom and down into the dining room, where only Dudley was sat, eating as usual.

"Hi, Dudley," Draco said as they entered the room.

"Hi, Draco," Dudley replied, completely ignoring Harry and watching as Draco sat down next to him, a hard task considering Dudley took up most of one side of the table.

"What are you reading?" Draco asked, noticing the magazine on the table in front of Dudley.

Dudley lifted the magazine up slightly, and read the title out loud, "Cross country motorbikes."

"Cool! I love motorbikes," Draco said. "They're so sexy."

Harry, who was sat opposite Draco, snorted into his dinner. Draco looked up at him, his eyes angry and cold, like they usually were. Harry sat bolt upright when he felt a sharp pain in his left shin, Draco had sneakers on that really hurt. "Ow!"

"Well, shut up then. No one was talking to you and no one wants to hear you," Draco said with as much spite in his voice as he could find. But the cold, angry look in his eyes had been replaced by a look that only Harry could find in those beautiful grey eyes, love.

Harry played his part well; he just rolled his eyes and went back to eating, only half listening to what Draco and Dudley were talking about. He only looked up when he felt Draco's foot sliding around the back of his leg and running up his calf, Harry looked at Draco questioningly. Draco was so absorbed in flirting with Dudley that he didn't seem to be aware of what the rest of his limbs were doing. Harry lifted his own foot slightly and tapped Draco's leg, gently.

Draco felt this and looked over at Harry, who looked downwards towards the floor. Draco either got the message, or thought that Harry meant something completely different. Either way, he nodded and resumed his conversation with Dudley, which at the moment was about Elton John and George Michael. Harry had a feeling that Dudley had started talking about them because Draco was a wizarding child, and hadn't had any contact with anything Muggle until recently.

"I haven't heard of those artists, we don't have that many homosexual singers in our world. Which is quite a shame actually, because they sound quite interesting."

"Draco?" Draco's head snapped up in Harry's direction. "What are you telling him all that for?"

"What am I telling him what for Harry?"

"About homosexuals and stuff. You don't listen to music that much, and even if you did you probably wouldn't listen to any gay artists, would you?"

Draco looked shocked at first, but then he remembered that this was all part of the plan, and started to play along. "You're probably right Harry, but at least I would have the guts to tell people what I really am, instead of hiding away like some."

"IÂ…IÂ… don't know what you're talking about, Dray," Harry, mock-stammered.

"Of course you do, Harry. You don't need to keep hiding it anymore. This is your lastÂ…" he paused and looked at his watch, "half hour here. You might as well get the truth out now." He turned back to Dudley, who was looking at the two of them with a confused look on his face. "Dudley, I have something I want to tell you. I'm, well, there's no easy way to say this butÂ… I'm gay, and I've fallen for someone in this room."

Dudley looked like a bus was just about to hit him, his jaw dropped down to roughly somewhere in the cellar and his eyes were so wide that it looked like they were going to pop out at any moment.

Just then the doorbell sounded, and Harry stood up. "That's probably the taxi, Dray. Come on, we need to get going."

"Yeah, I'm coming Harry. Just give me a sec?"

"Okay, but hurry up, or I'll leave without you."

"No you won't, but I won't be long."

Harry left the room, leaving Dudley and Draco alone.

"Dudley, are you okay?" Draco asked, pretending to sound concerned.

"What? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. I'm just shocked, I mean I never expected that."

"Yeah, I kind of figured that out by the look on your face."

"So who have you fallen for?" Dudley asked timidly.

"Well, let's just say that he is like me in almost every way, and I love him with all my heart."

Just as Draco had said this, Harry stuck his head back through the door.

"Dray, come on."

"Speak of the wizard! I would say that it was nice meeting you this summer Dudley, but I'm trying not to lie so much, so I can't. But I can say thank you for providing entertainment for me and my boyfriend this summer. Have a good life, I know I will. Bye." And with that Draco left the room holding Harry's hand, never to set foot back in that house again.

Author notes: Chapters five and six are done. I hope you enjoyed them. Sorry for the long wait, I’ll try to get the next two chapters done and posted sooner than it took this one. Until next time, Caz.
