"Must you do that?" Hermione whipped her head in the direction of Ron's tapping fingers.

"What?" Ron asked, continually tapping his fingers on their wooden kitchen table.

"Please stop the tapping!" Hermione said, slightly annoyed.

Ron and Hermione had recently married, about three months ago, at the young age of nineteen. Perhaps Hermione's parents were right, perhaps they were too young, or not mature enough to handle this.

"Stop!!" Hermione yelled, slamming her novel on Ron's tapping fingers.

Ron's blue eyes shot up to meet her brown ones as he rubbed his fingers with his other hand, not uttering a word.

"I'm so sorry Ron!" Hermione apologized, kissing each one of Ron's fingers, and fingering his gold band on the fourth finger. "It's just that, tapping fingers annoy me."

"Well, putting your quill behind your ear annoys me," Ron snapped back, referring to Hermione's habit of putting her quill behind her ear when not in use.

"I'm sorry," Hermione apologized, if you stop tapping your fingers, and grinding your teeth, and biting your lip around me, then I'll try not to do anything that annoys you around you. Okay love?"

"All of those things annoy you? If I annoy you so much, why did you marry me!?" Ron burst as usual, his emotions getting the better of him.

"Because I love you," Hermione told him, tears welling up in her eyes.

"And I love you," Ron said, putting his arm around her.

"Well, let's see, let's make a list. You make a list of everything about me that annoys you, and I'll do the same, and then we will switch and keep it for reference," Hermione smiled.

"You sound like a librarian, we'll keep it for reference," Ron mocked.

"Oh shut up Ron, just do it," Hermione laughed, tearing a piece of parchment in half.

"Okay, but just for you," Ron smiled.

"Yes," Hermione returned his smile.

Hermione got half of the parchment and made her way to the opposite end of the table, and began to chew on the end of her quill, and looked up at Ron, who was studying her intensely. He smiled and looked back down quickly, scratching his head.

They caught each other's gaze several times before each of them were done.

"Okay, now, we switch," Hermione took a deep breath, passing her paper to Ron, as he did the same.

Hermione unfolded the parchment and read:

Hermione--

I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love how you make me feel, I love how you wake up in the mornings, I love you're beauty. Now, I'm not going to make a list of what annoys me about you, because nothing does, when I started to think of this, it made me realize that annoying things seemed so trivial compared to how much I love you.

Love,

Ron

Hermione gasped, putting her hand to her mouth, tears welling up in her eyes. She looked up to see Ron watching her, smirking slightly as she crawled over the table and kissed his nose, then settling beside him. "Thank you."

"Now, let's open yours," Ron's eyebrows wiggled as he unfolded her piece of parchment and read:

Hermione Granger

16th of November

What annoys me about Ron Weasley...

"You still do a Hogwarts heading?? What are you, a second year?" Ron teased.

"Just keep reading," Hermione smiled.

Ron obeyed as Hermione read what she had written to herself.

Ron-

I love you too much to bother writing small things down to 'keep for reference'. I cannot believe I actually said that. But, we will be married for many happy years, so we will just have to learn to live with each other's habits. I love you sooooo much, and I don't want to change a single thing about you, even you're annoying tapping fingers. I'll stay with you forever.

Love

Mione

Hermione watched Ron smile as he turned to her. No words needed to be spoken, for they could do that. Communicate with their eyes.

"I love you so much, you're letter was beautiful," Hermione whispered.

"Not nearly as beautiful as you," Ron told her, and, at that moment, she did feel beautiful. "I love you."

Their lips met, for a brief kiss, but, like all good things had to end, when Harry burst through the door, screaming at the top of his lungs about him being engaged to Parvati Patil.
