After internally suffering from guilt, Harry finally allows himself to get up the nerve to talk to the Slytherin. But the potion seemed to have affected more than his eyesight; Harry soon learns that Draco's voice perception has been thrown off and to the Slytherin he is but a stranger, a no one.

The past and present collide and preconceptions are tossed aside when Harry and Draco start from base one, exploring the bounds of friendship that only temperary blindness can bring. The two soon learn that the darkness is needed to see the light and things become clearer in the shadows.

When Draco's world is quite literally cast into darkness he must learn when to rely on the strength of another to see him through. But as time continues, both Harry and Draco learn that often times in the darkness things become more clear.
