Author's Note:
Okeyz. Here's the third chapter; hope you like it. The fourth and fifth chapters will be more Harry/Draco-centric, these past three were building up to it. Review after you're done!

"How dare you screw around with the one person I hate most in my life! You know I hate him and wish he was dead. How could you be with Malfoy after all the shit he's put us through! You are a traitor and until you decide you won't be with that bastard, I am no longer your friend!!" And with that, he turned on his heel and stalked off.

Harry, who by this point had closed his eyes to prevent himself from crying, just listened to his retreating footsteps. Then he felt Hermione's hand on his arm. "Harry," she said, "I'm sorry, if that helps any."

He just shook his head. "No, it doesn't help at all. My best friend just walked off because I'm the idiot who fell in love with his enemy! How could a 'sorry' help me feel better?"

She kept her expression blank, but the hurt managed to show in her voice. "I don't know how to make you feel better, Harry. I don't have any problems with your sexuality or your choice of mate, and I think Ron is wrong to judge you for it. But I just don't know what I can do to make you feel better about him. I'm sorry. If there's anything I can say or do to help you, let me know. Okay?"

"Yeah, whatever," he replied sullenly.

"So what the hell do you want with me, Granger?" The blonde boy looked at her with his trademark smirk glued to his face, and folded his arms.

"I know you're with Harry," she whispered.

He just looked at her and flushed. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Draco, I need your help. Harry told Ron and me about his homosexuality, and how the two of you are together. I have no coifs with it, but apparently Ron does. He ran off and now Harry feels like dragon manure. I need you to help me feel better. I'll even give you permission to come into our common room. Please help me," she said desperately. "I don't know what else to do. I just know that if you're there, he'll be happy."

Draco smiled - a real smile, not a smirk or a sneer - and replied, "Okay, okay. But don't expect me to speak to any of the other Gryffindorks, especially Weasel. Got it?"

"Got it. Now come on."

"Bugs Bunny," muttered Hermione when they got to the portrait of the Fat Lady.

"I'll have to remember that," Draco said as the portrait swung forward. She just glared at him and informed him of the Weekly Password Changes. "Damn. Thought I could get away with a little midnight rendezvous with the lovely Mister Po--"

"Draco!"

"Sorry..." he laughed, and they continued walking through the Common Room, ignoring the stares from various third and fourth years, and climbed the spiral staircase leading to the sixth year boys' dormitories.

When they reached the dormitory, Hermione turned to Draco and said, "There shouldn't be anyone but Harry in there; I'm sure he kicked everyone out because he wanted to be alone. You should cast a privacy spell around the room once you enter, so no one will be able to hear anything through the walls, and everyone'll leave you alone. You have an hour and a half before supper, so if you're going to do anything...well if you're going to um...you know...then I suggest you do it quickly." He winked at her and she smiled. "I guess I'll be off, then. Good luck cheering him up. Hope you're better than I was."

"Oh, Granger, I'm better at everything than you are."

Hermione gave him her patented Glare of Death© and skipped down the stairs. I wonder what kind of underpants he wears, she thought, then mentally scolded herself for thinking bad thoughts about her best friend's lover.
