Intervention Upon a String

Intervention can work in mysterious ways. In the streets of Hogsmeade, life-long foes Angelina Johnson and Marcus Flint butt heads once again. But when a haywire portkey in the shape of a left sock sends them deep into the Dark Forest, can they put aside their differences and work together to survive quicksand, werewolves, giant spiders, and more importantly: themselves?

Panic and disorientation takes over the duo. They spend their first night in the forest.

Angelina's reckless Gryffindor curiosity gets the best of Marcus. They then stumble upon an unexpected situation.

Marcus and Angelina come across a new travelling partner who would call Marcus "mommy" if it could talk.

Marcus, Angelina, and the baby Unicorn she dubbed "Harvey" make their way through the forest and come across some trees of a not so picturesque type.

The trio's night is interrupted by a heavy storm. They seek shelter in a nearby cave but the inhabitants are anything but welcoming.

After narrowly escaping the trolls, Marcus and Angelina find themselves prey to a new creature. They narrowly escape and Marcus soon learns that if the monsters of the forest don't kill him first, Angelina will.

Angelina gets Marcus to open up to her.

Marcus encounters a few forest creatures he wouldn't mind following around. Angelina saves the day and they move on to find Harvey's family.

Being so close to home; Angelina is feeling playful. Marcus is less than amused. She gets tired of his crude attitude and decides to go the rest of the way by herself. However, she only gets so far...

Despite Sysleis's pleas, the centaurs have sentenced Angelina to death. Can Sysleis revive Marcus in time? Will Vesta choose treason over the safety of her family? And will Marcus discover the real motives behind the reason he saves Angelina so willingly?
