At an airport, a message sounded over the loudspeaker: "British Airways; Flight 328; to London, England; will be departing in five minutes."

There was a tall boy; around 15 years of age, with brown eyes and short brown hair which was spiked upwards, who was sitting down on one of the chairs in the terminal. He was wearing a blue collared shirt and beige jeans.

The boy grabbed the plane ticket that was sticking out of his left breast pocket and read it, it said: "Flight 238; Sunday, August 21, 1995 07:30pm; From: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; To: London, England"

"Well, that's my flight," the boy said to the girl sitting next to him. She was quite beautiful; she was around the same age as the boy, had long, silvery blond hair, beautiful brown eyes, and the whitest, most even smile on the face of the earth. She was wearing a sky blue blouse, and a long sky blue skirt.

They both stood up. "Alex, do you have to go?" the girl asked the boy.

"Yes," responded Alex. "I have to go, my parents moved to London and they want me to come with, plus they're paying for my tuition," she began to pout. "Sarah, look," he said tilting her head up so he could look into her eyes. "It's not goodbye forever, I will be back for the summer, and hopefully for Christmas."

"And maybe even March Break," Sarah replied.

"No," said Alex, "they don't have March Break there."

    "Oh," Sarah replied woefully.

"Sarah, remember," Alex continued, "we can still keep in touch, and have a long distance relationship."

"Will you write to me every day?" asked Sarah.

"Well how's this?" he asked, "send me a letter, and the second I receive it, I will send you a reply, then when you receive my reply, reply to it, and we will continue like that."

"Sounds like a fair deal to me," she answered.

Alex picked up his black overnight bag. "So, do you have everything?" Sarah asked.

"Almost," he said, he than leaned in and kissed her, when he released he said, "there, now I have everything."

This made her smile, he walked away to the plane, and Sarah followed. He handed the ticket to the flight attendant turned around and said, "Oh, don't forget..."

"I'll send it to you as soon as I get it," Sarah said.

    "Good, well, goodbye," Alex replied.

She wrapped her arm around his neck and kissed him before saying, "Goodbye," she looked as if she was going to cry, but continued to smile.

"Remember," he said reassuringly, "I will be back, and we'll keep in touch."

    "Bye."

"Bye," he walked away, and didn't even give her a second glance, because he knew if he did, he would not be able to leave.

When Alex got to his seat in first class and on the Concorde no less, he put his bag in the overhead compartment. He than reached into his pocket, and pulled out his wallet. In the change compartment, were a dozen bronze coins, a few silver coins, and two gold coins. He than looked at his pictures, and focused on the one of him and Sarah. The two subjects in the photo were looking at each other; they then faced Alex, smiled, and waved at him. He smiled.
