The Beginning of the End

8:05 PM
Harry and Lord Voldemort were looking at Dayanne intently, wands still pointing at one another. She slowly walked up to Harry.
She said to him, "I love you and always will for eternity, no matter what.....My heart will always be yours, Harry, my love."
She took out the old engagement ring again from her pocket and closed her palm around it. She hugged Harry very tightly ( Lord Voldemort looked like he could've killed Harry and even Dayanne right there and then without any remorse or difficulty), and then she gave him a kiss. A very short, soft but nonetheless passionate kiss. Dayanne murmured on his lips.
"Commemorate this as a reminder of my eternal love for you, Harry, and as a reminder of the fact that in times of darkness and helplessness- love, happiness, justice, and the Light side will always conquer."
As she separated herself from Harry, she held onto Harry's left hand and squeezed it in form of affection and support. When she let go, the old engagement ring was laying in Harry's palm, not Dayanne's. Harry looked at it with tears in his eyes. He then turned his gaze to Dayanne. Dayanne backed away a few steps from Harry, with a slight smile playing around her features.
"Day, I-I ..." Harry started. He wanted to tell Dayanne that he was sorry for everything he had ever done to her or her family. Well, maybe except for Voldemort, who was Dayanne's father. He wanted to tell her how much he loved her, how much he had missed her these past few months; how she was his whole entire life. But he couldn't. He couldn't, no matter how hard he tried.
"Don't worry, Harry," Dayanne said. "I'll always have our first engagement ring with me forever."
She showed Harry the first golden ring he had ever given her and slipped it into her third finger. Harry smiled and she smiled with him. Dayanne then took out her wand and pointed it at herself.
She muttered, "Laxare!" Suddenly, her body seemed eerily relaxed, giving her a drunk look. With great difficulty (because she didn't exactly have control over her muscles anymore) she pointed the wand at herself again.
She yelled, "Relinquissrigor Mortis!" Her body instantly leaned back when the spell hit her. Then she straightened up, but but her eyes became unfocused for a few moments.
When her eyes finally went back to normal and became focused once again, her whole body went rigid. She looked like a human pole glued to the ground without having the ability to move. Her muscles had tensed up once again, but this time too much to be normal.
Lord Voldemort let out a scream of anger and frustration.
"You, love him? A pureblood Riddle love a filthy Potter? You sure are acting foolish beyond what even I expected of you..." He started to laugh a horrible, mirthless and merciless laugh.
"I never knew Riddles had a sense of humor, or of just talking plain stupid stuff like love for example... Love doesn't exist, it's really just an illusion; a dream that evaporates before long. When it's over, you just realize you were being an idiotic, selfish bastard. Believe me my Heiress, love doesn't nor will it EVER EXIST between a Riddle and a Potter. You are my daughter, Dayanne, and I should inform you not to get your hopes up high. Potter will die today no matter what! And do you know why I have wanted him to die? For as long as I, or even he, can remember?"
Dayanne, throat to tight to speak, just shook her head. Lord Voldemort smirked.
"Well, if you don't know, why should I tell you? Be lucky I'm sparing my merciless limits with concern for you, at least when we are surrounded by faithful Death Eaters... I'll tell you someday my reasons toward him, but not now. I've got other pressing matters to deal with...."
Voldemort smiled. Or at least twisted his face in a way he would probably call a smile. He continued talking in a voice similar to a hiss.
"This ends. Potter will pay his part for turning you, my own daughter, against me....This nonsense stops NOW!"
Dayanne screamed, "Nooo!" She ran towards Voldemort, trying to stop him, but it was too late.
He pointing his wand upward at Harry, with a triumph look of victory.
Lord Voldemort hissed, " Avada Kedavra!"
Harry yelled, " Sentire!" Just at the same time Voldemort had hissed the Deadly Curse at him.
Dayanne ran in the middle of the duel and received the full blast of both spells. She screamed and fell to the floor. Lord Voldemort stepped forward and grabbed Dayanne by the arm. He sent her reeling backwards.
She landed a few feet away with a soft 'thump'. Dayanne was starting to now cry from the pain the curses had relinquished on her body.
"Get up, you pathetic piece of trash! You call yourself a 'Riddle'? You call yourself the daughter of the Great Lord Voldemort!?" You must be winding everyone up.... And to think I was proud of you and your accomplishments.....You are nothing to me nor to anyone else!" Voldemort exclaimed.
Dayanne just glared at the luscious green grass beneath her and cried.
"Not even Potter thinks anything special of you! You, Dayanne Annayangie Adanna Luella Clarkson Roussalet Veaudelaire Riddle, supposed daughter of the most feared and powerful wizard in the world, is nothing more than a burden to the Brat-Who-Lived, Harry James Potter....Stop being so foolish and join my ranks once again before it is too late!" muttered Voldemort.
"It already is too late! Your time and mine have reached an end! Harry will be the one to put a stop to this, not you!" Dayanne screamed back at Lord Voldemort.
While Day and the Dark Lord argued, Harry took out a dagger form one of his robe's pocket. This was a very special type of dagger, as it was poisonous. The dagger's blade had to be incinerated for the poison inside to be activated and become fatal.
Father and daughter were still arguing, and the Death Eaters couldn't issue a warning to their Master about what Harry was doing, as all of them had been hit with Silencing Charms most recently, from which the source were the members of the Order of the Phoenix.
Harry held the poisonous dagger secretly to the side and pointed his wand at the blade, meanwhile watching the argument from the corner of his eye. He was about to whisper 'incendere' when he remembered Dumbledore. He remembered the advice Dumbledore had given him just days before....
-Flashback-
Harry was in a special ward in St. Mungos; the Ward for Special Cases as they called it. He was standing right next to a bed with white linen sheets, who held an very elderly looking man who was very thin and had a long beard. A very long white beard.
Harry was staring at the wall opposite the bed, for there were pictures posted of various wizards and witches there. In one picture, there stood four wizards and two witches: Sirius Black, James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Lily Evans, and Annayangie Clarkson Roussalet (Lily Evans's best friend and considered the first girl Marauder at Hogwarts). They all stood close to eachother, smiling and waving happily through the picture at Harry.
Harry smiled. He liked to see pictures where his parents were happy for once, hanging around with their friends. Everyone thought that picture was perfect, except for the fact that Peter Pettigrew was in it.
'If only the six people in this picture knew what was to be of them in a few years' time ....' thought Harry.
Peter Pettigrew, or Wormtail as Death Eaters now called him and as his true friends had once called him, had ended up becoming a Death Eater himself a few years after this picture was taken. He then betrayed his own friends and sold them to Voldemort. That was how Harry's parents had ended up dead. Everyone knew this already.
Sirius Black, mostly known by his friends as 'Padfoot', had become even a greater friend to James Potter afterwards. When James and his wife, Lily, had died, he was framed for their murders and was sent to Azkaban Prison.
For twelve years, he relived the worst memories of his life through his mind once again, until he managed to escape. He was kept hidden for about two years, and died going through the Veil at the Department of Mysteries, trying to save his godson, Harry. This had been two years ago.
James Potter continued being everyone's friend throughout the years. He changed his ways (or at least tried to) for Lily's sake. He had a deep crush on her, and when she decided to finally give in and go out with him, James changed, and for the better too.
Lily Evans became a nicer person than before, and agreed to go out with James in their Seventh year. Soon afterwards, she herself fell in love deeply with James, and said 'yes, I do' when James asked her to marry him. They lived happily for a few years, and Lily gave birth to a little boy who they named Harry. One year after Harry was born, the Dark Lord found them hiding in Godric's Hollow and killed them both, but failed to kill Harry, who obviously, survived.
Remus Lupin became a Prefect at Hogwarts. He studied more and more each year, trying to get a lot O.W.L's and N.E.W.T's to get a good job after he graduated. He didn't have a lot of girlfriends though out the years, maybe two or three at the most while he was at Hogwarts.
One of those girlfriends was Annayangie Clarkson Roussalet herself. They fell madly in love with eachother in their Fourth year, but for reasons known to everyone who knew Remus at heart, they had to break up.
Remus was never able to get a decent enough job, except at Hogwarts, where he worked as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher for a year. He always was found alone after James and Lily died, but he was intelligent enough to keep himself firm and out of trouble.
Annayangie Clarkson Roussalet, known by Lily and the Marauders as Blinky or Angie, was Lily's best friend until the end. She was the first girl to ever be accepted as one of The Marauders. She liked both Remus and Sirius, and had a little secret crush on James, but as soon as she found out James liked Lily, she started seeing Moony and Padfoot in a brand new light.
She became Remus's girlfriend in their Fourth year, but broke up soon afterwards, because Remus had started seeing Sirius in a brand new light himself, and really didn't know what he was (if you get my drift). For those reasons, they broke apart.
Angie was secretly converted into the Dark Side soon afterwards by a boyfriend she had when she was sixteen; she ended up being the Dark Lord's most loyal, faithful, powerful, and beautiful Death Eater that the Dark Lord had ever had in his possession.
She soon became the Dark Lord's fiancee, not because they were in love, but because Voldemort wanted someone by his side who he could trust, and he wanted someone who was closer to him than his Death Eaters were. She had been more loyal to him than Bellatrix Lestrange herself, after all.
She, of course, was never mentioned around the Dark Lord these days; he considered her to be one of his biggest mistakes.... After learning that Voldemort was going out against the Potters, she refused to help him and backtracked, leaving everything and everyone behind. She just simply ran away from him with their seven-month old daughter, Dayanne, to where hopefully no one could find them.
Unfortunately, that hadn't been the case. About four weeks before the Potters were found and killed, Bellatrix Lestrange was sent by Voldemort to find her, and find her she did. Annayangie Clarkson Roussalet was dead before she even hit the Californian ground, or so everyone thought.
Her and the Dark Lord's daughter, Dayanne, was delivered to an orphanage in California after the attack by Bellatrix. Lord Voldemort soon found out that Annayangie hadn't been as faithful as he had thought; she had turned traitor and had been spying for the Light Side for almost two years and a half before her death.
Harry was so concentrated in the picture that he didn't notice the man stir beside him.
"Harry?" asked the man, squinting up at Harry. He certainly looked confused and worried.
"Professor Dumbledore! How are you feeling? Are you okay? Do you want for me to call a doct- I mean a Healer?"
"No Harry, I'm fine. I do wish for you to please talk with me about some things that are very important.... Please shut the door so we cannot be overheard and have a seat, Harry. I do not certainly want to say this but I must, Harry, I must, and the only one person I want to know about this is you."
Harry moved forward and shut the door, making sure no one was around to notice, and then took a seat next to Dumbledore's bed. Concern was written all over his features.
"Harry," said Dumbledore. He heisted and looked up at the room's ceiling, apparently thinking.
"Professor Dumbledore, whatever you need to say, say it," muttered Harry, with a sudden rush of annoyance and hatred. His continuing Occlumency lessons hadn't done anything to improve his attitude, but he still kept on trying anyway; Voldemort's attacks on his mind were getting more and more dangerous each time.
"I feel the need to tell you this...You may not understand my advice now, but you will when the right time comes along... Harry, both you and I know that the Final Battle is zooming ever nearer, and we cannot do anything about it, but you must know one simple thing that may save you from death.
"When you are fighting Lord Voldemort, just remember this; It may save you from pains greater than life could ever inflict on you also...You cannot use ANY type of magical instrument or object against Voldemort, for whatever the reasons. You MUST not.
"I cannot explain why I am telling you this right now, but you have to trust me in this, Harry. This is very important. You'll know the truth soon enough, but just trust me, if only this time...However much you try to, you will not be able to defeat Voldemort by using anything else that isn't your mind or your wand. Believe me this time... I have traveled to the future; the future in which you tried to use a magical object to help you in your defeat of Voldemort, and you do not want to know the consequences of your actions..." whispered Professor Dumbledore, his face somber.
"Of course, professor. I trust you enough; I know why you are telling me this, and I understand. I will make good use of the advice you have just given me, even if I dare not try to decipher it this instant," replied Harry.
"That meaning, Professor Dumbledore, that Dayanne Riddle does not mess up and that I make it to the Final Battle,"continued Harry.
His face darkened.
-End of flashback-
Harry reconsidered his actions. He hurriedly put the dagger back in his robe's pocket and straightened up. He slyly eyed the scene. No one from the outside had managed to break the force shield and get inside yet.
The Order's members, his friends, and even the Death Eaters were watching him, Dayanne, and Lord Voldemort calmly, as if they had not a care in the world....There was no point trying to fight now. This was the big and Final Battle between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.
Tonight, one of these two men (Harry had already turned eighteen years old) would walk away, unscathed, while the other one dropped dead. It seemed unfair, maybe even harsh, but it was reality. The reality they had to face tonight.
Either Lord Voldemort or Harry would die, and one side or the other would come out victorious...
As for Harry's fiancee- Dayanne- her future was uncertain. Mostly because she was destined not to have a future past twenty years of age. She was likely to die; the prophecy made regarding her two years ago had said so.
Dayanne, Harry's love, would die tonight... The prophecy had also mentioned that... If, and only if, Harry did his part and killed Lord Voldemort. If he did not do his part, he would die and Lord Voldemort and Dayanne would stay alive...
You see, when Lord Voldemort kidnapped Dayanne Riddle from Harry Potter more than a year ago, he placed a curse on her while she was unconscious at the Death Eater's hideout. The curse came from an old forgotten branch of Dark Magic combined with blood magic and healing charms. This curse's purpose was to "share" on one person any kind of magical attacks made on another.
For example, if Harry hit Lord Voldemort with a Cruciatus Curse, after a few seconds the same curse would be cloned and it then would rebound from Voldemort. The 'rebound' Curse would then hit Dayanne and both Lord Voldemort and Dayanne would be feeling the Cruciatus Curse at the same time. If Lord Voldemort was hit by a Killing Curse, Dayanne would also die....
Harry, Lord Voldemort, and Dayanne were dealing here with the Infamous Sharing Curse- the Incarnatus Curse- caused to clone and then rebound any type of magic from one person to another as long as they both live, therefore keeping the connection between the two persons intact and active. The curse was like a bond of connection between any two mortals...
Lord Voldemort and Dayanne were still arguing, amid all the shocked, terrified, and apprehensive looks that were getting from the people witnessing the conflict. They all were reassuring themselves that nothing good could come out of this.
Voldemort screamed at Dayanne something that was heard by witnesses like this. " Then you should have married! Married Malfoy instead of trying to come after this selfish bastard!"
He pointed at Harry, but did not notice the maddened gleam in his mortal enemy's eyes.
Lord Voldemort continued to scream at Dayanne. "How could you sink so low?" he hissed, aloud for everyone present to hear.
"I ?" asked Dayanne. "How could I sink so low? No Father, how could you sink so low? How could you become so evil after finding out the truth about your parents, huh? Couldn't you just not care what the bloody hell my Grandfather did and just praise my Grandmother for her sacrifice?
"But nooo! Mr. Tom Marvolo Riddle, Heir of Salazar Slytherin, had to kill his Father and become the dark, messed-up wizard we all know now, didn't he? And let's not forget the fact that he just couldn't have loved anyone ever after that incident!" she finished, shrieking at the top of her lungs.
"I loved your mother once, before I found out she was a traitor and had almost sold me to the Light Side..." replied Voldemort, in a what would-be sad voice if anyone didn't know any better.
He continued. Meanwhile looking at the floor, his wand dejectedly at his side. "And I loved you too Dayanne. After all, you ARE my only Heiress, my faithful daughter..."
"Liar!" screamed Dayanne. " I would believe that, if I didn't know any better! After all, it's like I care! Their all lies! You can't love or care about anyone so stop faking it! You don't have a heart! Neither my mom nor I care about what you or your bloody followers do... No one in this world cares a single bit about you and no one wants to see you again!
"Now, why don't you let Harry carry on? I really don't care sacrificing myself just so you will die and the rest of the Wizarding World won't ever have to be ruled by your despicable and disgusting self! My decision has been made and no one can change it!"
She turned to face Harry. Her eyes held something else than anger, fear and sadness perhaps, but she nonetheless did not give up.
"Do it now, Harry!" she screamed at Harry.
Lord Voldemort, taken aback by the order Dayanne had screamed at Harry, was a little late in taking his wand out. He tried to take it out, but Harry had been quicker this time.
While Lord Voldemort plunged his unnatural white hand into his robe's pocket, Harry yelled, "Luctari Inaptus!"
Lord Voldemort's eyes held shock as he was thrown backward onto the force shield's wall. He slumped to the ground. None of them had noticed that Dayanne had also been thrown against the transparent wall.... They both got up at the same time.
Harry didn't wait any longer. 'The sooner this is over, the better,' Harry thought. As so, he made his decision.
He quietly muttered, "Animus Dolere!" A jet of orange red light made its way to Lord Voldemort. The curse reached him squarely in the chest. He bended into a kind of bow. His hands were squeezing his stomach and his chest. He slowly backed against the force shield's wall once again and slid down to the ground. He was screwing up his face, and so was Dayanne, against the pain....
This curse was in the similarity group as the Cruciatus. The Cruciatus Curse made you feel like your very bones were on fire, while the Anire Curse caused a similar effect. No, not on bones, but on your very soul.
Instead of your bones, your soul feels like it were on fire, and the pain is way more intense than that of Cruciatus. The Anire Curse pains and 'punishes' your mind, your memories, your own conscience, and your personality. Everything that makes you who you are, everything that makes you complete.
Although the curse is similar, although it is way more painful, and although it is in the family group of the Crucifying Curses, the Anire Curse is not considered an Unforgivable. It IS considered a Dark Art. One of the most horrible and terrible arts of Dark Magic: extremely dangerous, extremely fatal, and extremely heartless to hit someone with it.
Harry lowered his wand. If left suffering under the Anire Curse for long enough, your sanity would be gone in less than half a minute. Lord Voldemort and Dayanne Riddle had been screaming in pain more intense than if thousands of white-hot knives were piercing every inch of their body. They were both sprawled, separated from eachother, and panting as if they had just run miles and miles.
Lord Voldemort was still clutching his chest when he defiantly got up using all mediums, and faced his mortal enemy. Dayanne held onto the transparent wall of the force shield and stood up as best she could. She limped towards the duel meanwhile clutching her stomach also.
Harry rushed to her aid, but his wand was still pointed threateningly at Voldemort. "Are you okay?" asked Harry of Dayanne.
Dayanne just looked at him with unconditional love for him in her eyes, and gave him a weak smile.
"No Harry, I am not okay. I do not feel in any way 'okay', but for you, I'll withstand anything....Just knowing that I'll be able to save your life makes me the happiest woman on earth. I just want this nightmare to end... I want this to end! It has been too much pain and suffering these past years! I can't live like this anymore! End it Harry, end it now that you've got the chance.... We both know that this is the only opportunity that you'll ever get!" exclaimed Dayanne, finally letting all the feelings that had welled up inside her escape.
"And what if I don't end it?" asked Harry in a defeated voice, staring down at his wand. "What if I let Lord Voldemort win and take over?"
Voldemort twisted his face once again in a what-would be act of a smile. "Go ahead....You'd make job easier, at least," he said. Dayanne glared at him with the dirtiest look she owned, then stepped forward and slapped him across the face. He staggered and gave a step back.
Harry was startled, and he wasn't the only one. Everyone was. Death Eaters, members of the Order, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Dayanne's family and friends, and even Lord Voldemort gasped at the foolishness she had just committed.
"Don't let him get to you, Harry!" she exclaimed. "Fight, Harry! Win for all the people who count on you to save them! For all the people who believe in you and your abilities! If you can't do it for them, Harry, then do it for me! You have proved me wrong many times before, my love, but please don't prove me wrong tonight....Finish this in the name our children and in the sake of our love, Harry!"
Her face was filled with fury and betrayal. She had suffered enough and clearly was tired of it, but then again, who wasn't?
Harry didn't even think. He just did what he had to do, what he had been born to do.... He just wanted it to end, to fulfill the prophecy and live happily ever after with Dayanne Riddle and both their twins. Deep inside of him, he knew that this last request of him could never be. Dayanne could never be happy with him while her father was still alive... He had to kill Voldemort, he had to, but because of the infamous Incarnatus Curse, if he killed Lord Voldemort, Dayanne would die along with him too...
But Harry had seen the horrors she had been through; he had seen her suffer with all her soul, and he couldn't stand it. He just couldn't stand seeing her suffer. How could he, when he loves her with all his heart? It had to stop. She couldn't suffer anymore, and as long as Lord Voldemort was alive, her pain and his would just continue going....
As Harry was making a decision, he knew that too many people counted on him and too many people would get hurt if he failed this.... He didn't care sacrificing himself, but Dayanne? Would he sacrifice Dayanne, his real true love as he knew it, for the sake of the Wizarding World?
'She deserves it, after all,' thought Harry. 'No! She doesn't deserves it, what am I thinking! I love her, but she does deserve to be happy, to be free from pain and sorrow, and she won't ever accomplish that with me nor with anyone else while she's alive... She's better off dead than in this hell of iniquity, all of us are, but it's her turn now to leave....Suffer my Day, suffer one last time, believe me, it will be worth it...'
With this last thought, Harry yelled, " Accio wands!"
Voldemort, too shocked to do anything, didn't stop his wand. Both his wand and Dayanne's flew toward Harry and he caught them effortlessly.
Lord Voldemort knew he was going to be defeated, but nevertheless had a defiant look on his face. Harry now raised his wand and pointed it to Lord Voldemort, his face now a little green as if he was about to be sick.
Voldemort looked at Harry with loathing. "You'll pay, Potter. One way or another, you'll pay for this! You're the one who will come off worse in this War, Harry, not me," he hissed.
He glanced sideways at Dayanne and then returned his gaze to Harry, smirking. Harry snorted at his threat. With a look at Dayanne standing near the shield's wall and with a smile, he turned his wand once again toward Voldemort.
"I love you, Dayanne Riddle; don't ever forget that," Harry said, and with a nod of her head, he returned his gaze to Voldemort.
He exclaimed, "Avada Kedavra!"
A jet of green light escaped from Harry's wand. There was then a flash of the same blinding green light Harry had always despised and had seen so many times before. The flash of light was speeding towards Voldemort, accompanied with a rushing sound as if something invisible was flying through the air. The curse hit Voldemort in the chest and he immediately fell backwards as stiff as a pole, unmarked but clearly dead.
There was an explosion of cheering from Harry's friends, the Order, and Dayanne's family. Lord Voldemort, the supposedly immortal Dark Lord, was finally dead! Harry had lived through it all once again! Harry had just become the Man-Who-Won! The Wizarding world was saved, and nothing would or ever could go wrong anymore! Nothing could stop them cheering for the freedom they now had, or so they thought.....
Harry walked backwards toward the shield's wall, his mouth hanging open and shaking his head: full meaning of disbelief of the fact that Lord Voldemort was finally dead. After a few joyful seconds, the cheering finally stopped. No one was making a sound, no one was moving.
Everyone, including Dayanne who had her mouth fully open now, was staring at Voldemort's body, and Harry could see why this was. His body had turned a shade of green. Dayanne, realizing what that meant, looked up to Harry, who was standing near the shield's wall by his friends.
Dayanne slowly walked towards Harry. She took his hand and hugged him with all her might. She whispered to Harry in his ear.
"It's all right, Harry. It's all over for you and everyone else except me... Be happy Harry; be as happy as you can possibly be. You deserve it, after all you have done for everyone. God bless you, Harry. Thank you for everything. Marry Cho and have a great life. The life you couldn't have with me. I love you Harry, and always will, even after death." She kissed him and squeezed his hand once again in a form of affection.
Then, she put both her hands on the side of Harry's head and lowered his forehead inches close to her lips. She swept his bangs back with one hand and she swiftly kissed his scar, the scar that had proved both blessing and curse.
Dayanne smiled at him, with tears in her eyes. She separated herself from him and slowly backed away. She looked around at her family, the members of the Order of the Phoenix, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Cho, and at everyone else, except at the Death Eaters.
She said, "Good luck with life and bless you all for being there when I needed you the most."
A sudden loud bang was heard from the region of where Voldemort's body lay. Dayanne and Harry both turned quickly around to look at what was the matter now. It only took Harry three seconds and two clues to figure out what was going on.
First of all, Voldemort's body wasn't covered by that green shade anymore; it was now back to its whiter-than-a-skull color, but now it was combined with a little bit of violet: a clear sign that he TRULY was dead.
Second of all, a green light was coming out of Voldemort's chest and was forming a kind of arrow right beside his body. The 'arrow' was aiming straight at Dayanne.
These two clues could only mean one thing: the Avada Kedavra curse was being cloned and in a few seconds, it would reach and hit Dayanne, killing her once and for all...
There was no point trying to save her now, even though Harry wanted to, because not only was the Killing Curse unblockable, but this would happen sooner or later, even if she was saved, because of the connection made by the Incarnatus Curse between Dayanne and Lord Voldemort.
The 'arrow' of light had become a jet of green light that was now fleeting towards Dayanne. She looked at Harry in a fraction of a second and then closed her eyes. She screamed her last words at Harry against the roaring sound coming towards her.
"I love you and always will too, with all my heart. Thank you Harry, for all the happiness; thank you for releasing me from all this pain and sorrow, but most of all, thank you for showing me what real true love is...."
A second after she had finished her statement, the jet of green light hit her squarely in the chest. She gave a small "oh" of surprise and then a shriek of pain. There was another blinding flash of light and Harry had to shield his eyes with his hands, but even so, the green light was so powerful that a blast of it still blazed through Harry's eyelids. He heard something heavy fall down onto the ground.
There were both screams and shouts from the people outside the shield. Harry slowly lowered his hand from his gaze and looked at the ground. Right in front of him, sprawled on the grass, with her eyes closed, was Dayanne Riddle- dead....
Harry murmured, "No...NO! This can't be! You can't be dead my Day, you can't!" He fell to his knees right beside Dayanne. Harry let go of his wand and grabbed her shoulders with his both hands, shaking her roughly.
"You can't be dead, Day, NO! Stop it; stop joking! Wake up, Day! Get up now! you're my whole life, Dayanne Riddle, please wake up, please don't be dead!" he screamed at her. The force shield then flickered and died. Harry then felt two pair of hands at his shoulders, forcing him up.
"Let go, Harry. It's too late now..." said a voice Harry recognized as Moony's. Moony was shaking slightly . Dumbledore walked up to Harry and kneeled in front of him.
"She's gone, Harry, gone. There's nothing you can do for her now. She's...dead," stated Dumbledore. Harry shook his head at Dumbledore, disbelieving.
Everyone was crying for Dayanne and was surrounding Harry, Dumbledore, Moony, and Dayanne's body in a circle; except for the Death Eaters, who were bound at their places by invisible ropes and anti-apparition charms.
"No, she's not dead! There has to be a misunderstanding.....You're wrong!" screamed Harry at the people surrounding him.
Ron and Hermione stepped forward. They both tried to embrace Harry, but Harry stepped away from them and their reach.
"No, she'll wake up in a moment! I know she will," said Harry desperately, still in denial.
"She won't wake up because she's dead, Harry... You killed her..." whispered Hermione, with tears in her eyes. "You killed her, Harry..."
At this last statement, Harry shook his head once more. Then later bowed it, realization hitting him. His gaze moved from his hands to his wand to Dayanne's body. His gaze continued this pattern until he jerked his head upward and backed away from Dayanne's body slowly.
"Harry? Where are you going? Harry....? HARRY!" yelled Tonks, but it was too late. Harry had turned around and had started running in the opposite direction, knocking a shocked Professor Snape aside.
He needed to keep running until he reached a place where Dayanne closed eyes did not follow him.... He needed to get away from everything and everyone.... Harry wanted to go somewhere where he couldn't see Dayanne's body in his mind...
'And it isn't only that,' Harry realized with anger, 'Iwanted to get away from my friends also... Most of this is their fault... They had betrayed Dayanne, they had always thought her a Death Eater and a traitor, but they had been wrong.... They always had clearly been wrong.... They had accused her of things she never did; they had accused her of being a traitor, when it had actually been the other way....
'My so called 'friends' betrayed dayanne and me.... And ultimately, the supposed 'traitor' in my friends view, gave up her own life to save them all, each and every single one of them....
'They deserve to be punished,' thought Harry, as he ran into the Black Forest. 'They need to be punished. They'll all pay for betraying my trust.... I'll MAKE them pay...I will avenge Dayanne's death... I will avenge myself upon them....
'Someday......'
