An Apology Is Just Words
Chapter 13: Uh oh...
Blaise and Harry were sitting next to the Great Lake. Harry glanced at Blaise, who was staring out onto the lake. Harry wrapped his arms around her. "Don't worry about me," he whispered into her ears. Blaise turned to him and smiled weakly.
"I'm not only worrying about you. There is Hermione and Ron. There is Ginny. She is so young. She doesn't need to be worrying about me," Blaise said. Harry glanced out onto the lake, then back to Blaise.
"Blaise, Ginny has been through a lot. She is willing to do this. She isn't going to get hurt. She is a powerful witch," Harry said, brushing Blaise's hair away from her face.
"But, I don't want anyone to get hurt. I am willing to take the punishment," Blaise said. Harry sighed.
"Listen to me. I am not going to let you die. I am not going to let anyone die," Harry said.
"You can't promise that!" Blaise yelled, standing up. "He doesn't care who he kills! He is a ruthless person, and he will kill anyone that stands in his way!"
Harry stood up so he was face to face with Blaise. "I know that. I have been through that. I have lost loved ones before, and I am not letting that happen again," Harry said. Blaise sighed.
"Harry. You have to listen. Be reasonable. He is eventually going to kill someone you love. He is eventually going to hurt you. He is more powerful than before. He is more powerful than when you faced him in the fourth year. And now that he has more Death Eaters on his side, I don't think that we would be able to hold him back. You shouldn't just focus on saving me. There are other people here too Harry, other people who need you," Blaise said.
Harry just stared at her. Blaise sighed and sat down. Harry slowly lowered himself, so he was kneeling.
"Blaise. I have suffered a lot of pain. With my parents dying when I was young, I had to deal with the lost. Then Cedric died in the forth year. He wasn't supposed to die. I was supposed to go alone, but I said for him to come and get the trophy with me, and he died. It was my fault. Then in the fifth year, I put Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Neville, and Luna in danger. They could've died because I wanted to go and save Sirius. And then Sirius died because he wanted to save me. He was like a father to me. I have lost people on my account. It was my fault they died. I don't want it to be my fault that you die," Harry said. Blaise hugged him.
"It isn't your fault. It is mine. I have chosen my path, my destiny, and I am not afraid to die," Blaise whispered. A tear rolled down Harry's cheek. Blaise brushed it away.
"I love you," Harry said. Blaise smiled.
"I love you too," Blaise replied, pulling him into another hug.

Draco sat in one of his large, plush; emerald couches, staring at his father. Lucius Malfoy was sitting across from Draco, lounging at bit, but never taking his gaze off Draco. Draco swallowed and just stared back.
"You do know why I am here right?" Lucius said after five minutes of complete silence. Draco nodded.
"I believe so," Draco answered emotionless. Lucius just smirked.
"A Weasley?" Lucius asked. Draco just stared. 'Not answering,' he said in his mind.
"Well, are you going to answer?" Lucius said dryly, with slight irritation.
"What about the Weasleys?" Draco asked. Lucius sat up a bit.
"You're seeing the youngest one. What was her name? Minnie?" Lucius asked. Draco almost lunged at him but just clenched his fists.
"Ginny," Draco corrected. Lucius let out a soft laugh.
"Whatever. You're seeing her right?" Lucius asked. Draco didn't make any expression, no indication that it was true or false.
"What is it to you?" Draco answered, his tone unwavering.
"You're my son, and I didn't expect for you to see a Weasley," Lucius said, his voice filled with disgust.
"Well, you're my father, and I didn't expect you to expect me to see a Weasley," Draco said. Lucius glared.
"Don't speak to me with that tone of voice," Lucius snapped. Draco just stared.
"And the news about you and the Weasley girl isn't the only I have heard. What is this of not becoming a Death Eater?" Lucius asked. Draco gulped, and Lucius could tell that Draco was getting frightened.
"What I do with my life is none of your business," Draco said, staring at the wall behind his father.
"Oh but it is my business," Lucius said.
"Why?" Draco asked. Draco wanted to just beat the complete crap out of him.
"You're the only one who can carry on our glorious legacy," Lucius said. Draco snorted.
"It's not my fault your impotency causes you to make no more heirs," Draco answered with a smirk. Lucius glared.
"Shut your mouth boy," Lucius said, "Don't you ever defy me again! I won't stand up to your insolent remarks!" Lucius stood up, approaching Draco, who just happened to be sitting, looking quite comfortable.
"I guess that means I can't talk to you then, since the sight of you only makes me think of insolent remarks," Draco said. Lucius raised his hand and swung his fist and stopped a couple of centimeters away from Draco's face.
"Now you listen to me boy. I don't care about what you want. You are to become a Death Eater. If you choose to defy me, even thinking about otherwise, I'll gut your precious Mudblood loving whore alive!" Lucius threatened with a psychotic smile. Draco stood up, coming eye-to-eye with his father.
"DON'T YOU DARE..." Draco started.
"Protecting the whore huh?" Lucius said, a smirk forming on his face. "Tell me, is she that well in bed?" Lucius asked, "She must be, if she got you to think that she actually cares for you. I got to tell you, this girl is good. Only a whore is able to turn the most powerful men into whimpering dogs. It goes to show weak you really are."
Draco then lunged at his father. "DON'T YOU EVER SPEAK ABOUT GINNY THAT WAY! I NEVER SLEPT WITH HER!" Draco yelled, punching his father's jaw. "I LOVE HER!" he yelled, gripping his father's collar. Lucius began to laugh. He pushed Draco away, stood up, and touched the blood dripping from his mouth. With looks to kill, he drew his wand and pointed it at Draco.
"Really?" Lucius smirked. "Would you die for her?" He said with malice. The wand was now pointed at his neck. "CRUCIO!" Lucius yelled. Draco immediately howled in pain, falling to the ground. He looked up at his father.
"DON'T YOU EVER THINK THAT YOU CAN DEFY ME!" He bellowed. Draco tried to stand, only to fall in pain once more, his father kicking his side. "YOU WILL REGRET EVEN LAYING A HAND ON ME!" He then grabbed a hold on Draco and Apparated both of them to Ginny's bedside. Lucius then muttered a silence charm in the room. "You will promise me that you will become a Death Eater," Lucius said, now pointing his wand at Ginny, who was fast asleep, unaware of the people standing before her. "You don't want your precious love to die, don't you?" Lucius asked with malice.
Draco glanced at Ginny. She looked almost angelic with the moonlight shining on her beautiful face. He began to tear, knowing that if he ever defied his father he would kill her. He knew that now for sure, proving when he Apparated into her room, his father would do anything to get his way. Fighting back the tears, he looked up at his father, eye-to-eye. He breathed hard and answered, "I'll do it."
