Hermione's Suicide

Hermione learns one of the worst secrets she could have ever imagined. She soon realises that the only way to save Harry is to do the unthinkable.

Harry, Draco, and Ron return to Hogwarts and Harry refuses to be Head Boy. Not when Hermione should be there and be Head Girl. Harry begins the DA once more and he and Draco get a chance to be alone.

Harry and Draco sneek into Hogsmeade to find out the secret to Hermione's journal. Harry doesn't like what he sees and he makes sure Dumbledore knows about it.

Hermione’s diary began to glow again and Harry picked it up from the surface of his bed. He opened it up to the third entry and read what was written there for him to see. It answered all of his questions. No, he shouldn’t go out alone; no, he shouldn’t trust anyone. And no, there was no one safe for him to be around at all times, at least, not anymore. Not now that Dumbledore knows that he and Draco are close friends. Though Harry was sure that the closeness of Harry and Draco’s relationship had not yet reached Dumbledore's ears.

An attempt on Harry's life brings reality into clear focus for Harry and Draco. And this is just the beginning.

“Call me Abram,” the imposter said. “Professor if you prefer, but Abram nonetheless.”

Harry and Draco have left Hogwarts for good. However, just when they think they can breathe easily, Harry finds out what Hell is for Wizards.

The group finds out what was wrong with Dumbledore and Harry and Draco are invited to a very subdued Weasley Christmass.

This will be the very last entry in this diary. I’ve finally realized what it’s going to take to put Harry on his guard. I’m going to give him this, though I have no idea if it will help him or not. I have no idea if he’ll be able to read this because I’m fairly certain that they’ve put a spell on me to ensure that I don’t tell him what happened. I think that’s why I can never say the words.

Harry wiped away his tears and opened his eyes to look at his lover. “Sorry,” he said with a weak attempt at a smile. “It’s just that it’s been a year and…”
