Close Your Eyes

As small hands covered piercing gray eyes, a soft voice whispered, "Close your eyes."

Draco smirked.

"Not as though you've given me much of a choice. I can see about the same with them open as I can with them closed."

"Well, I plan to remove my hands, but only if you promise that you wont open your eyes until I say you can," the female voice responded.

"Tell me who you are and maybe I'll consider it."

"But that will spoil the game."

"Oh, we're playing a game, are we? I suppose I can go along just this once."

"Good," she slowly removed her hands, as if making sure he wasn't about to spin around and look at her.

"Now, I'm going to go sit in front of you. Remember, no peeking."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just get on with it. I was busy."

Draco heard shuffling as the girl moved around him.

"Busy doing what, might I ask? Thinking? I watched you for a little bit before coming over. You've just been staring at the lake."

"Spying on me? Do I have a stalker on my hands?"

"Perhaps."

Draco grinned.

"All right. Now Draco, I want you to describe everything you feel, ok?"

"Sure. Should I be frightened?"

"Depends, but we'll find out afterwards."

Draco felt a pair of hands grab his.

"I feel hands," Draco said bluntly.

The soft voice chuckled a bit.

"Come on, be a little deeper than that."

Draco sighed and squeezed his eyes shut, trying to concentrate solely on the hands in his. He began exploring them with his own, tracing the back, running his fingers across her slender ones, drawing circles into her palm with his forefinger.

"You have small hands. They're extremely smooth. Not a single callous on them. You have short fingernails; it feels as if you may bite them. My guess would be a nervous habit. I used to do that when I was younger, but father made me stop."

"All right, how about now?" she pulled his hand and brought it to her hair.

He ran his fingers through her hair, from root to tip. He grabbed it all in his hand, measuring its thickness. He leaned forward slightly and brought it towards his face, smelling the sweet floral scent of her shampoo.

"You have pretty lengthy, thick hair. Its also rather soft. It smells nice. Like jasmine. It doesn't seem straight, but I can tell it's not curly. A slight wave, I suppose?"

Draco felt her hands on his again and next his hands on her cheeks. He smiled as he began exploring her features. He brought his hands to her eyebrows and lightly brushed his fingers across them. Then he repeated the motion over her closed eyes. He ran a finger down the center of her face, down her nose, over her lips, to her chin. He went back to her lips and lightly traced them. He caressed her cheeks.

"You have small facial features. Very feminine. You have a nice shape to your eyebrows and you seem to have long eyelashes. You have a small nose. Probably gives your face a cute look to it. Your lips are soft and full, yet slightly sticky. I suppose you're wearing lip gloss or chapstick."

"Very good. How about this?" she whispered. He heard her shift and then felt her lips press against his. Once he got over the momentary shock and began to kiss her back, she pulled away.

"Hey, you didn't let me explore," Draco protested.

"I know, I'm sorry. Just tell me what you felt."

"Well," Draco replied, licking his lips. "You definitely have something on your lips. Tastes like cherry. Your lips felt soft. Felt perfect."

"So over all, what do you think?"

"I think you're probably a very beautiful girl. Nice skin, hair, face. Very kissable lips. An amazing kisser, although I barely got a taste."

"Ok, well if that's so," Draco heard her moving around once again. "Open your eyes."

"Tell me," she said as he opened his eyes. He gave his blurry vision a moment to focus on the girl standing in front of him. Hermione.

"What makes me so different?"
