More Malfoy

CHAPTER 8

After several hours of discussing various plans for the year, Draco and

Denna went to up to their rooms to get ready for bed. When Denna walked into her room, she saw three beds, two with sleeping girls in them, and one empty.

"I guess this one is mine," she muttered to herself.

Suddenly, one of the sleeping girls sat up sharply.

"Oh, it's you," she said bitterly. "We were wondering who the extra bed belonged to."

Denna squinted over to try to make out a face. She pulled out her wand and whispered, "lumos," and a bead of light formed at the tip of her wand.The blonde haired girl was looking right at Denna.

"Yes, it's me. And who are you?" Denna said as she sat down and stared back at the girl.

She ignored the question. "Draco wouldn't tell me who you were, well,

at least, he wouldn't tell me his relation to you," she said.

"I'm his twin sister. Now, answer my question and tell me who you are!" Denna said sharply.

"His sister? He never told me that he had a sister!" the girl squealed.

"You twit! If he would have told you, you wouldn't have had to ask me!" Denna replied. Denna was very tired and the blonde haired girl was starting to irritate her.

The girl shot Denna a dirty look. "Ah, just what we needs. Another

Malfoy," she answered.

"Don't talk to me anymore, you ignorant little brat!" Denna said as she

laid back on the bed.

The girl chuckled. "I'm Pansy Parkinson. I know you know who I am, I

was sitting next to your brother at dinner tonight."

Denna thought for a moment. She did remember seeing a blonde haired

girl sitting next to Draco. She also remembered the girl trying to hold

Draco's hand as he stood up to leave. Denna shook her head.

"I remember seeing you. You were the one that was hanging all over

Draco," Denna said.

"I was not hanging all over him!" Pansy shouted.

Denna shushed her and rolled over. Hopefully she'll figure out that I

don't want to talk to her anymore, Denna thought.

Pansy didn't say anything else to Denna after that. Denna sighed deeply and closed her eyes.

In the morning, Denna found a knee-length pleated skirt, a pair of

knee-high gray socks, a pair of black Mary Jane style shoes, a white button down shirt, a gray sweater vest, and a long black robe laid out at the foot of her bed. She smiled when she picked up the robe and saw the green and silver Slytherin insignia. She then saw the skirt and wrinkled her nose. "I am not wearing that," she said outloud. She put the clothes back on the bed and ran to Draco's dorm room.

The door was open, so Denna decided to walk in.

"Denna! What are you doing in here? Girls aren't allowed in the boys'

rooms!" Draco hissed.

"Calm down, Draco," Denna said, shaking her head. "I need to borrow a pair of trousers."

Draco stared blankly at her for a moment, and then he broke into waves of laughter.

"You don't like your skirt?" Draco asked.

"Oh, yes, Draco, I love that skirt. That why I'm in here asking to

borrow a pair of trousers!" Denna said with a smile.

Draco rolled his eyes and walked over to his rather large wardrobe.

"What color?" he said from inside the wardrobe.

"What colors do you have?" Denna replied as she sat down on Draco's

bed.

Draco emerged with two pairs of trousers. "Well, there is this lovely

pair of black trousers," he said, as if he were showing off a new product. "And here is a stunning pair of black trousers. Which would you care to have for today, young lady?"

Denna was laughing so hard that tears had to roll down her cheeks.

"I'll go with the stunning pair of black trousers," Denna said after

wiping away her tears.

"A very nice choice, if I do say so myself," Draco said as he handed

them to Denna.

Denna stood up. "Thank you very much, Mr. Malfoy."

"You are very welcome, my dear. Come back anytime!" Draco said as Denna walked out of the room.

Draco smiled. "I'm glad she's here," he said out loud. It'll make

things easier for me, he thought.
