"Harry..." Sirius whispered. He only heard a painful silence.

Nerves seemed to attack Sirius. He had no idea why this was happening. He couldn't be nervous about seeing Harry, could he? Sirius even felt a little ill with all the nerves gathering up in Sirius's chest. What if Harry didn't believe him? Maybe Harry thought that Sirius was a Death Eater?

Well?

Well?

It was possible. Sirius's chest tightened up. "Harry," he repeated. There was still no answer.

Maybe Harry was hurt? No, he wouldn't be hurt. If it came to the worst Harry would use his wand.

Maybe this was the wrong house? Sirius turned around and almost opened the door but something stopped him...

"Padfoot!" shouted James, "Padfoot!"

James ran into the waiting area wearing an outfit that Healers would usually wear.

"What is it?" asked Sirius who had just put a magazine down.

"I...I... I'm a Dad!" James announced.

Remus had been also reading a magazine took off his glasses revealing a pair of amber eyes. Remus smiled. "Congratulations, Prongs. Is it a boy or girl?"

"I...I... I..." James was speechless.

"Prongs, can you speak?" joked Sirius.

"Padfoot!" scolded Remus. "Leave him alone!"

"Yeah, leave me alone!" James sided.

"James!" Sirius pretended to faint, "You're not on my side on this one." He tossed himself backwards and unfortunately for Remus he was behind him so he had to run for it otherwise he'd be squashed.

James had the "serious look" on his face. "Well? Are you two going to come with me or not?"

Remus and Sirius followed James into the delivery room where Lily had given birth to James's child. Her eyes were practically glowing with happiness as she held her pink son. "Sirius, Remus," she began with a smile on her exhausted face, "this is Harry."

Sirius stared in awe, he never imagined anything that cute as much as his best friend's son did. "Uh...hi, Harry."

Lily giggled, "Sirius, hold him, please?"

"Uh, OK," he took Harry from Lily's arms. Harry was very... pink. Yes, very pink. He also looked very adorable with his bright green eyes shining up at Sirius with glee. Harry was already sprouting black hairs, yep, Harry was definitely going to look like James. "Remus, would you like to hold him?"

"I... I..." Remus had lost the power to speak.

"C'mon," Sirius urged, "hold Harry."

Remus took Harry from Sirius's arms, Sirius felt like Remus had just taken a part of him away forever.

Sirius smiled once he saw the Remus holding Harry. Remus looked a bit uneasy at one time because light brown hair was covering his eyes and he obviously didn't want to hold Harry with one hand.

Sirius decided to brush Remus's hair out of his face for him. They shared a glance a smiled. After a while James took Harry. James looked like a natural born Father in Sirius's eyes. Too bad that the happiness lasted for such a little time...

Sirius looked out the window. The sky was a deep blue, almost black, the stars twinkled like diamonds and they stood out perfectly in the sky. The moon looked like a giant white football that had been kicked into the sky. The moon was almost full; Remus would have to go through that horrible monthly pain tomorrow.

Sirius saw a light outline of what appeared to be a person in the bed, nerves nearly choked him. Why was he nervous about seeing his own godson? He abandoned the nerves threw back the covers. Sirius's heart dropped. Although it was very dark Sirius could tell that there were only pillows in the bed.

But the question was: where was Harry?

~*~

Harry yawned and woke up quite refreshed from his sleep at Grimmauld Place, but it didn't take long for the Gryffindor to remember where he was, and who was not there. Sirius.

It had been a few months since the heart-breaking death of the beloved godfather and Harry was still achy, and quite teary at times, but under the love of his other godfather, Remus, he felt his heart slowly starting to mend. It was not taking the ache away, but slowly muffling it.

Sitting up and rolling his eyes at the covers and sheets that were strewn everywhere, 'I must fight with the blankets when I sleep,' he thought silently to himself. Taking the glasses from his bedside table and put them on and blinked his eyes as the room came into focus. He was going to have to think about contacts, or possible a trip to St. Mungo's for eye operation/charm.

Dressing, and leaving the room the seventh year made his way to the kitchen. He smiled to see Remus grinning as he made breakfast. One thing could be said about the werewolf and that was he loved to cook! Harry hadn't missed the almost full moon that was hung in the sky the night before. He knew that tonight Remus was transform and be gone until the full moon vanished.

Plopping down at the table Harry smiled when Remus sat a plat down filled with pancakes, scrambled eggs, and toast.

"You know what I like," he said with a grin.

With a smile Remus sat down his own plate of eggs and hash browns, nosily popping one in a chewing. Harry smiled at this, for so long after Sirius death the man had eaten little, always claiming not to be hungry when cornered by his godson.

"Quite an appetite you have there."

Remus stopped his noisy chewing and grinned; actually managing to look like the young man, he should be. "I'm starving."

'Apparently,' Harry smiled to himself.

The werewolf was going to mention nothing to Harry, but he had felt a strange contentment in his heart the night before, and something told him that things were about to change, and for the better.
