Author's Note:
Don't kill me, but those who had read my previous story, "Other Side of the Fence", probably won't see anymore chapters for it. I rushed the story a bit cannot find a way to continue it without it sucking horribly. On a good note, Rikka will be a character used in later fics, so she'll be back soon!

"What should I do, Ginny!? I can't...I..." Hermione panicked and began pacing. Ginny was in deep concentration, her brow furrowed in thought. She was still trying to process what Hermione had said, or cried rather when Ginny had come across her sleeping in a green robe outside of the Fat Lady's portrait. Ginny shook her head in confusion.

"Start from the beginning. Try to remember everything, ok? Don't babble like an idiot. And don't get so worked up, or you'll puke and I'll end up cleaning it." Ginny laid back on her bed in preparation for a long story. Hermione stopped pacing and sat down on the floor.

"Ok, it began at Hogsmeade..."

Hermione Granger checked her reflection again with uncertainty. She was wearing a short denim skirt with a white tanktop. Her shoes were about three inches thick, and were black sandals. Hermione threw on her black school robes and took the Head Girl badge off, like Ginny suggested. She looked better than usual as she was wearing some make-up for a change. Ginny's reflection behind hers nodded in approval.

"Hermione, you're way prettier this year than you give yourself credit for!" she smiled and turned back to her own make-up. Hermione sighed. She had more of a figure, and her hair was now tamed but she still looked at herself as the 'girl with the hair', as Pansy's friend had put it last year. Hermione turned around to Ginny. Ginny grabbed her crimson Quidditch robes and a purse. She picked up a bottle of aspirin (of the wizarding kind) and tossed it to Hermione. Startled, she caught it.

"What for?" she asked nervously. She already knew the answer.

"In case we get drunk." Ginny laughed at Hermione's blank face and rolled her eyes. "C'mon, you're a 7th year. It's time you have a drink or two. You don't need to be a saint in Hogsmeade!" Ginny had matured fast in her 5th year. She began to smoke and drink, which Hermione chose not to do. All of the students in her year drunk, it was common practice, although the Gryffindors and the Slytherins do it more so than the rest of them. Especially on nights like tonight; after all the final tests and exams they have had and the Quidditch match they had just won against Ravenclaw. It was on nights like these when parties in Hogsmeade occurred. Ginny, now a Gryffindor beater, was less aware of it, but the parties mainly happened now because it was so close to the end of the year, and her friends would all be gone for good.

Hermione grinned and muttered, "Ok, I'll have a drink or two!"

"Yay! Good to hear! And we must get you a new boyfriend." Ginny clapped her hands excitedly and blushed. "Who knows, maybe Harry will ask me out. Oh who am I kidding..." Ginny trailed off and looked out the window. Hermione sighed. Some things didn't change after three years.

"Yeah, screw Krum." Hermione made a face. They had recently broken up, due to the long distance thing. Hermione knew it had ended way before then, but they just didn't get around to saying it. He never wrote her, and Hermione never wrote him, but Hermione had remained faithful the whole time despite her affection for Ron that she had discovered in her fifth year. Of course she hadn't told anyone about it, and didn't plan on it anytime soon. It was just a crush. Love was too strong of a word for how she felt.

"Well then, let me find my purse...it's in the common room Malfoy and I share." Hermione made yet another face. The Head Boy was Malfoy, and their new rooms had come with a common room that they shared. Hermione still hated him, even more with the rumors of war flying about. But then again those rumors had started two years ago. The two girls entered the common room. Ginny stopped in her tracks. The room was filled with Slytherins, each one dancing and smoking or drinking. She pressed herself against the doorway as heavy metal music blared out of a nearby speaker magically enhanced to be even louder than it should. However Hermione had grabbed her purse, exchanged words with Malfoy and came back slightly annoyed.

"This happens almost EVERY night! He doesn't listen and, oh I could turn him into a ferret so fast right now he'd probably..." Ginny dragged her angry friend out of the room and downstairs.

Harry, Ron and others were all down there waiting impatiently. Ron sighed.

"FINALLY! The rest of 'em are already at the Three Broomsticks. Let's go!" The four took off quickly. Harry grinned broadly.

"You two look nice. Skimpy but nice. Lavender and Parvati look like sluts." Harry laughed as Ginny blushed slightly. Hermione looked at her best friend. Harry had grown taller and if anything cuter. Many girls turned to catch a glimpse of him. Harry still was pretty blind to the dating scene but would flirt like mad when he had the chance. Hermione laughed as she saw Ron's ears go red suddenly.

"Ron, what's wrong?" Ginny asked, and exchanged a hidden glance with Hermione. Ron muttered nothing and waked faster. Ginny nudged Hermione forward and hung back with Harry.

"Where's the fire?"

Ron slowed down and grinned. He shook his head absently.

"You look great."

There was an uncomfortable silence as the two entered Hogsmeade with Harry and Ginny laughing behind them. Hogsmeade was busy as usual with several students running about, as well as others. It looked like one big party. The four saw a group of red robes standing by the Three Broomsticks. They were cheering and yelling as their Quidditch captain approached. They all congratulated Harry, Ron, and Ginny as they entered the bar behind them. A larger swarm of Gryffindors had already gathered inside. Music was pouring out of a speaker and the floor was cleared of most tables and chairs to make dancing room. Not many people were dancing yet, but rather drinking at the bar. Hermione took her seat with the others. Seamus and Dean grinned and passed her a beer bottle.

"You said you'd do it." Dean got up and began chanting, "Do it! Do it!" It didn't take long for the bar to be filled with the chant. Hermione looked sick, but took the bottle and chugged half of it down. She liked the taste; it was almost bittersweet. She bowed dumbly as Harry and Ron clapped. Ginny raised her eyebrows, impressed.

The party began to really start after three rounds of shots. Harry and others were on the dance floor, a mass of red and black robes tossed to the side while the game of dirty dancing (which, in Hermione's opinion, Ginny and a definitely drunk Harry were winning) continued to suck more people off the barstools and onto the dance floor. Hermione had taken two aspirins already to shake away the buzz in her head. She hadn't counted how many shots she had, and when she tried to count the glasses she found out quite suddenly that she couldn't even count! She was lost in a hypnotic world of dancing and drinking. Her body steadily moved to the music as she had somehow ended up with Seamus as her partner.

"Thiz's fuuunnn...I love shotz..." Hermione muttered dreamily to herself. She began stumbling over her feet until she fell into a worried Ron, who could control his alcohol consumption well since he had used a nifty spell to keep him still sane no matter how many beers he had.

"You're drunk!" he exclaimed as she got up on the bar to dance with Lavender. She tripped and fell off, laughing.

"Oh Ronnikins, I'm too GOOD to get...ya'know?" her words slurred more as she talked faster than usual. Ron looked around for an escort to take her back to Hogwarts, but everyone else was too drunk or preoccupied with dancing to notice and he wanted to stay and keep a cautious eye on Ginny. Ron grabbed his beer out of her hands and led her outside.

"Hermione, you are drunk. Can you make it back to Hogwarts alone?" Ron spoke as though she was conversing with someone who was four; very slowly and clearly. Hermione nodded and began to stagger off.

"I wuv you, Ronnikins..." she muttered sleepily. After much falling and asking for directions, Hermione managed to make it to make it to the dungeons and into the common room. She spotted an equally tired but not completely wasted Draco Malfoy proceeding to his room. She grinned stupidly.

"DRACO!" she gave him a hug. Draco, shocked out his mind pushed her away.

He studied her carefully and muttered in a partially slurred speech, "You're wasted!" he seemed impressed as Hermione plopped onto his silver and green bed. Draco's room was spooky, draped in green and silver satin and with little lighting. Draco shook his head. "Granger, off my bed and onto yours!" he grabbed her hand and pulled her up. She just smacked him and sat back down. Draco flushed in anger. "LISTEN MUDBLOOD, I'M HIGH, PROBABLY DRUNK AND TIRED! GO TO BED!"

Hermione began to cry.

Draco sighed and took out a cigarette. He lit it and muttered, "Don't give me that bullshit," but he felt bad, and soon was rubbing her back as she sobbed. As if a new day, she stopped and smiled seductively. She turned to face him and whispered in his ear, "I want you now." Draco, being high like he had said and "in the mood" leaned forward and kissed her suddenly. Somewhere in the back of his head he was screaming, "NO NO NO! Don't do this!" It was too late however and Draco's brain had turned off as he helped Granger out of her skirt. His robes dropped softly and soon they were both doing the one thing they would never do to each other even if you told them the world was ending and they had to reproduce to keep the human race alive.

Ginny stopped Hermione at this point and sat there, shocked. She hadn't even known Hermione left last night from the bar! Hermione felt tears coming on as she whispered, "I had lost it, Ginny. I'm not a virgin anymore..." She wiped her eyes and got up. "There's more, but I need to puke again..."
