Prologue

A thousand years ago, our moon was held to a great civilisation, ruled by Queen Serenity. Everything was peaceful during the time of the Silver Millennium, when all the planets were at peace.

But the peace was shattered the evil Lord Voldemort found a way to break out of his Negaverse into our universe.

To conquer the moon, Lord Voldemort unleashed the awesome power of the Negaverse. Although her world was destroyed, Queen Serenity's last hope was the power of the Emperium Silver Crystal and the Crescent Moon Wand.

"Only this crystal and wand can combat the powers of the Negaverse," she told her cat advisors, Luna and Artemis. "Never let our enemies get them, or the universe is doomed. But most of all, you must protect our dear Princess Anna, understand?"

"Yes," both of the advisors said at once.

With the powers of the crystal, the Queen sent the Princess of the Moon and her people to the future of Earth. Their memories lost, Queen Serenity sent the cat advisors to find the Princess so she would at last be safe.

And so, our story begins . . .

Chapter One

Harry Potter watched with his friends as the Sorting began, but didn't really pay attention. All he could think about was that prophecy and Voldemort. Either must die at the hands of the other, for neither can live while the other survives . . .

A flash of blonde hair caught his attention as Harry was yanked from his thoughts. Among the first years was a pretty girl around his age with the longest blonde hair he'd ever seen. She had pinned it up in two ponytails to keep it out of the way, but she was the prettiest girl Harry had ever seen . . .

And yet there was something familiar about her. Like he knew her from somewhere, but he could remember where from. It was right there in the back of his mind, but the more Harry tried to grasp it, the further away it got.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Hermione Granger whispered to him as the Sorting continued. "You've gone all pale."

"That girl," Harry whispered back, nodding to her as they moved on to the 'B's. "I feel like I know her from somewhere. There's definitely something familiar about her."

"She's cute," Ron said with a grin. "Going to snatch her up, mate? Better do it before anyone else does."

Hermione swatted Ron's arm and shook her head in exasperation. "Can't you think about anything besides girls and food?" she inquired before looking at Harry. "I don't remember seeing her before, Harry. Are you sure?"

"I know that I've seen that girl before, Hermione," Harry said firmly. "There's no doubt in my mind."

"Maybe she went to school in Surrey, before you came here?" Ron suggested, rubbing his arm where Hermione had hit him. "You could have seen her there."

"Yeah, maybe," Harry said slowly, thinking it over. But he wasn't sure that was it . . . "No, I don't think so. I'm sure that I'd remember someone with hair that long at school."

"Anna Dawson!" McGonagall called and the girl with blonde hair walked through the first years. A couple of people were talking amongst themselves and giggling.

But Anna Dawson ignored them and sat on the stool as McGonagall places the hat on her head. Her face was completely serene as the hat took its time.

And Harry was swept into the girl's face, whose sky-blue eyes flashed at his right before the hat dropped over it.

"Harry, what's happening?"

"Run, Anna, just run!" Harry screamed at her, but she was running towards him instead of in the other direction, towards safety.

"No, Harry, I want to be with you!" Anna shouted, ignoring the danger.

"No, you can't! Anna, don't!"

"Harry, are you all right?" Hermione was staring at him in concern, her brown eyes focused upon him. But for one minute, he thought he saw the image of another girl.

"I'm fine," Harry muttered, returning his attention towards Anna Dawson. Who was she, anyway? And what was that memory he'd just had, if it could be called that?

Anna Dawson climbed onto the stool and ignored the giggles and whispers of the other students as the professor set the hat on her head. At once, she heard a voice in her head, speaking in her ear.

"Oh, interesting, very interesting," the voice said softly. "Sailor Moon, is it? The Champion of Justice and Protector of Love who defends anyone not working for the Dark Lord. Plenty of courage, that's certain, and not a bad mind, either. Well, young Sailor Scout, there's just one place for you . . . GRYFFINDOR!"

The Gryffindor table cheered as the hat was lifted off Anna and she hurried over to the table, eager to get out of the spotlight.

She chose a spot near to some students near her age. There was a boy with raven hair, a red haired boy, and a girl with bushy hair. All three of them seemed vaguely familiar, something Luna told her to be extremely careful about.

"If people seem familiar or you sense vibrations from them, be careful," Luna had told her. "They could be our friend or enemy, Anna. But most of all, don't reveal your identity to anyone, do you understand?"

"Right, we've got to be careful if we're ever going to have lasting peace," Artemis had said.

But all Anna could think about as she looked just once into the raven haired boy's emerald green eyes was how familiar he was. More so than the other two.

All at once she felt a pain in her chest, like something had happened a long time ago that she didn't want to be reminded of. And she was certain that it had something to do with this boy.

Anna knew deep inside her that she had discovered people that were very important to bringing down Voldemort. She didn't know how she knew; she just did.

And Anna's feeling usually turned out to be right, especially when it turned out to be Sailor business.
