Author's Note:
Well, here's the finaly chapter, the end of the line. I want to thank everyone who's read my story, end especially to everyone who reviewed. Thanks so much for not throwing any flames! I appreciate you all!

Fleur was marching defiantly down the hallway, her hair flying behind her. She had never been so relieved in all of her life-but at the same time she was feeling some other emotions. She was a bit nervous. What if Ron didn't want to take her back after she had acted to him? She sped up.

Here was the door. No time to waste. She flung it open and almost ran straight to him.

"So has Hermione-" he was cut off when she suddenly grabbed him and kissed him. It was so wonderful to feel her lips on his again. He pulled her closer and ran his fingers through her hair. He could taste her, smell her...everything about her was so sweet. She parted her lips and let his tounge slip in as the kiss became almost painful. But Ron didn't care, as far as he was concerned they weren't close enough. They eventually needed to come up for air and as they parted Ron said, "I suppose that's a yes?"

Fleur smiled warmly and replied,"Yep. She told me everything," she suddenly looked troubled. "Ron, I'm so sorry. I should've known that that wasn't like you."

"It's fine," said Ron, tracing a line down her profile with his thumb. "It happens to the best of us."

"Are you sure it's really okay?"

"Of course."

Hermione still sat slumped in Fleur's chair. That was very emotionally draining. Not to mention mentally draining. She sighed. Well, Ron's happy now. That's all that matters right? A voice in the back of her mind was saying 'yeah, happy with someone else.' She shook the voice away. It was her fault their relationship had been ruined. She had somehow convinced herself that she was truly in love with Snape. The old guy who used to be her greasy haired, cruel, cold potions master. So she dumped Ron. SHE dumped HIM. What had made her feel this way for Snape? It was probably because he was very brave. After all, he was basically a double agent against Voldemort while he still had total control. She had mistaken her admiration of him for love. Love!

She sighed again. Her life was a total mess. She felt completely alone.

Maybe she should get up? This wasn't her office, so it was kind of weird to be sitting here moping. As she got up she looked around the gorgeous room for a last time and made a mental note to ask Fleur for decorating tips. She swept quietly out of the room, shut the door, turned around, and yelled. Someone was standing right behind her. The corridor was very dark as it was late. "Lumos!" she cried. The beam of light landed on....

Neville.

Poor Neville. Always in the wrong place at the wrong time. She must've scared him out of his wits when she yelled like that. His eyes were like dinner plates.

"I-I-I-I'm sorry!" said Neville. "I didn't mean to scare you like that. I didn't know you were coming out."

"It's alright," she assured him. "How did you know I was here?"

"I didn't," he replied. "But I was looking for you. I was on my way to your office when you opened the door."

"Well, I'm here now," said Hermione. "What did you want?"

Neville suddenly blushed. Or at least she thought he did. It was hard to tell with only the light from her wand.

"I wanted to give you these," he mumbled as he handed out a bouquet of flowers and stared at his feet. She took the flowers greatfully. Maybe she wasn't so alone after all.

"You were looking for me in the middle of the night so you could give me some lillies?" said Hermione curiously. "What if I had been in my office dancing around in front of the mirror in nothing but a loin cloth and some very well placed wood chips?"

"What does that have to do with the time?" he asked, rasing an eyebrow. "Is this a nightly routine?"

Hermione blushed and looked uncomfortable. "I-no, of-of course not. Maybe. No. Yes, no. I wouldn't, well I might've once. Just answer the question."

"Which one?" he asked seriously. "The one about the lillies or the one about the loin cloth and-"

"The one about the lillies!" Hermione hissed. "Don't talk so loudly about loin cloths."

"Okay, okay," he said around his grin. "It took me a while to work up the wourage to give them to you. I figured maybe I should give you stuff instead of trying to kiss you."

"That was a good plan. Much better then the last one," she chuckled. "I appreciate it." She swooped down and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Neville grinned as she walked away. Maybe he was getting somewhere....
