"Who's that girl?"
"How should I know?"
Pansy Parkinson questioned Draco Malfoy. The two were standing out by the lake as a girl of medium height with dark brown wavy hair that was down to her mid-back walked out wearing particularly expensive looking clothes. She was very beautiful and sort of swished her hips as she walked. The way she carried herself was so different from any of the other girls Draco had seen in his life. She seemed so self-assured and she seemed to know something that no one else in the world did. Her expression was blank and couldn't be read. Draco found him self staring at her as she made her way to the edge of the lake and sat down on a bench.
"HELLO!"
Pansy said waving her hand with its long bony fingers in front of his face. Her acrylic nails were a volatile shade of pink today.
"Oh...sorry."
He said still watching the girl from the corner of his eye.
"Oh her...that's some new student from Italy. No one knows anything about her; she's like this huge mystery girl. She arrived this morning, no clue what house she's in."
Adrian Pucey said walking up and sitting down on the ground.
"Hot isn't she?"
He said snorting through a pompous laugh.
Draco smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
"I suppose."
He only said this because Pansy was around. He didn't feel like hearing her squeal and having her slap him on the shoulder. He had been going out with Pansy ever since Yule Ball in his 4th year, it was now his last year and now looking at this 'mystery girl' he wasn't sure why he was still going out with Pansy. This girl was amazingly beautiful and just well...amazing. Looking at her made him wants to run up to her and hug her. She was just mesmerizing. There was something about this girl. She was staring at the water with her dark green eyes. Those eyes, he could get lost in them. They were standing a good distance apart from each other, but he could still see those eyes. He was lost in looking at her. He was oblivious to his surroundings. Pansy was tapping her foot and had her hand on her hip with her mouth wide open.
"DRACO MALFOY! HAVE YOU HEARD A SINGLE WORD I SAID?"
She screeched. Adrian winced at the sound of her annoyingly high pitched voice. Draco looked at Pansy, his concentration finally broken.
"Huh?"
Pansy rolled her heavily make-upped eyes.
"I was talking about the 7th Year's Ball that we're having this December. I was saying, while you were off in some other world; that we are going together...right?"
She said sounding very annoyed. When Pansy was annoyed her voice sounded even more annoying.
"Yes, I suppose we are."
She didn't notice, but he was still watching her.
"We're supposed to wear evening gowns. The committee of this says it's supposed to be like something muggles call a prom, whatever that is."
She noticed that he wasn't paying attention again and she scoffed.
"Draco, I'm leaving. You're not even paying attention to me."
She said shrilly before picking up her purse and storming off. Draco waved goodbye, still focused on the girl. Adrian got up and picked up his broomstick.
"Bye, I'm going back to the castle."
He said and disappeared. The grounds were now completely empty except for Draco and the 'mystery girl'. She was still on the same bench, still staring at the lake as the sun began to set. Draco was now studying her more closely. There wasn't a single flaw on her appearance. Her complexion was clear and tan and her clothing was rather nice. It was clear that she came from a very well off family. She was wearing a black skirt that was down to her knees with Italian leather boots. Her shirt was a red and black corset top. A black cloak hung loosely around her. Hanging from her neck was an elaborate necklace with garnets and rubies and dangling from her ears were matching earrings. Every single thing she wore looked perfect on her, it all accented her beauty. This wasn't like him to be so gaga over someone. It wasn't like him to think of anything other than himself. He didn't even know her name and he was already infatuated with her. He found himself getting up and walking towards her way. He suddenly tripped on a tree stump. The next thing he knew two boots were in front of him. He looked up to see her standing in front of him. She smiled slightly, but it wasn't really a smile when she smiled.
" 'Ello."
She said, her accent sounding sultry and airy. It was very clear from her voice that she was Italian. Even her voice was beautiful.
"Hi. I'm Draco, Draco Malfoy."
He said after getting up. For once in his life he was fawning over someone (with the exception of that banshee he met last year at a Christmas party). He had never really felt anything like this. She held out her hand for him to shake.
"Call me Bella."
He reached his hand out and shook hers. Her hand was cold and soft.
"You're the new student from Italy, correct?"
He knew this sounded stupid. It was obvious she was new and Italian. She didn't pay any attention to his dumb question, but merely nodded.
"I'm from Florence originally. I came to England to live with an aunt."
He nodded his head, showing he was listening.
"Have you been sorted into a house yet?"
He questioned her curiously.
"Yes I have actually. I'm in Gryffindor."
The moment her lips spilt the word almost every Slytherin loathed, his heart sank. She was a Gryffindor and he a Slytherin. It was almost like Romeo and Juliet. The thing he couldn't understand was why it mattered to him if she was a Gryffindor or not. He was going out with Pansy anyways. He couldn't have this girl even if he wanted her. He found himself still talking to her even though she was of that dreadful house.
"Oh I'm in Slytherin."
He said trying not to sound disappointed. Surprisingly she smirked.
"Ah...the rival. I've only been here for less than a day, but the boy who gave me a tour informed me of everything. The way that he described Slytherins makes me surprised you're even conversing with me."
His eyebrows arched.
"Who gave you the tour?"
She flipped her shiny brown hair over her shoulder rather sassily.
"Hmm...a mister Ron Weasley I believe."
"Did he happen to say anything about me?"
Ron could have made up things about him seeing as they weren't on the best of terms.
"Hmm...Yes he did as a matter of a fact. He said that you were a slimy little git that couldn't be trusted. "
She said rather bluntly.
"Oh he did, did he?"
She nodded her head slowly. She then proceeded to get up off of her boulder and walk over to him.
"I never said I believed him now did I?"
She whispered softly in his ear holding on to his shoulder as she did so. Backing away she smirked once again and kissed him on the cheek softly.
"Goodbye Draco Malfoy."
She said in a very sultry tone. She left Draco standing there wondering what had hit him. He knew it wasn't a big deal that she had kissed him on the cheek, but when she did it, it was different. Like maybe she meant it differently than any other kiss on the cheek. One thing Draco knew for sure was that he had to see her again.

Draco walked back to the Slytherin common room with a bit of a hop in his step. His first instinct was to hate this girl as he hated all Gryffindors. There was just something in her eyes that was soothing. For a Gryffindor she seemed almost Slytherin-like. She had a mysterious quality to her. Once he reached the common room he was greeted by a rather annoyed looking Pansy. She was sitting in a big dark green armchair with her arms crossed the fire reflecting her blue eyes.
"Oh it's you... decided to pay some attention to me?"
Draco rolled his steel blue eyes. He wasn't in the mood for her jealousness.
"I'm sorry the world was not revolving around you for more than five seconds."
He said grumpily. Sometimes he felt like he wanted to strangle Pansy with her own pearl necklace. Pansy's face turned into a catty glare.
"Tell me Draco, what's going on with you lately? You haven't been off shagging some whore, have you?"
Pansy said maliciously, but was cut of by Draco who put his index finger over her lips.
"Pansy love, I'm fine .I know I haven't paid much attention to you, but I do love you regardless of this."
He knew exactly how to make Pansy shut up. All he had to do was mention that little four letter word. Pansy calmed down and relaxed.
"Well, you're just acting odd...that's all."
Draco sat down in an armchair and sighed.
"So about this 'prom', we're still going right?"
"That depends on if you get your act together and stop being such a bastard."
She said coldly. Draco chuckled lightly and got up out of his chair.
"Pansy...I don't think I'm capable of being a non-bastard, but I promise in the future my every moment shall be with you."
He smiled and kissed her softly before walking to his dorm, where he would only toss and turn in his bed. A deep depression plaguing over him as he lay. Meanwhile Bella Sabatino was making her entrance into the Gryffindor common room.

Bella had always been noticed everywhere that she went, heads turned gasping at her beauty. She had gotten used to guys fawning over her and had many boyfriends in her life, but she had yet to find anything meaningful. She was somewhat superficial, but just like most teenagers, she was sad and scared half of the time. The common room was full of people, vibrant colors of red and gold filled the dimly lit room. She spotted Ron, whom she had met earlier that day. She sashayed over to him and sat down on the couch across from him.
"Hello carrot top."
She purred. Ron blushed furiously. She had to admit she loved doing that to guys. She had this uncanny ability to make them do exactly what she wanted.
"Hey Bella."
He smiled, next to him sat Hermione. Hermione's face turned bright red. She got up somewhat angrily and walked out of the room mumbling something about 'floosies' under her breath.
"What on earth is wrong with her?"
Truth be told she didn't like Ron anymore than she liked any other boy. She just wanted him as a friend, but she couldn't help but be somewhat flirtatious. Ron shrugged his shoulders.
"I dunno."
Bella crossed her long tan legs and smiled at Ron.
"So Ron, how was your day...exciting? Break any hearts?"
She teased him in a dull monotone. Ron laughed.
"Oh yeah...let me tell ya...listening to Snape talk about potions all day is incredibly fun."
"Oh but I found him incredibly sexy."
"I bet you did."
The next day Draco woke up in his cold green velvet bed. The Slytherin's dorm was in the dungeons and it was always cold and moist. The only source of light in the room was a candle on every boy's bed. These candles had been enchanted to light themselves every time someone touched them. Draco touched his candle and dressed quickly. He bounded out of his room and started to walk down the staircase that led to the Slytherin Common Room. He stopped in the middle of the stair case because he spotted a certain person...this certain person was Pansy. He wasn't really in the mood for her today, so he turned back around and slipped back into his bed. He closed the draperies and went back to sleep.
Meanwhile in the Gryffindor seventh year's girl dorm...
Bella rolled out of bed and threw on her off white silk robe and matching slippers. She walked out of the room hurriedly and made her way to the girl's bathroom. Her feet felt ice cold on the stone floors. Once she reached the bathroom she found an empty stall, turned on hot water and stepped in after undressing. After showering for what seemed like an eternity she finally turned the water off and began to dry herself with her towel when she heard two girls enter the bathroom. It was fairly early and before the two girls came along Bella was the first in the bathroom. The girls were talking rather loudly about something, their voices echoed through the high ceiling. Bella stayed silent.
"I heard she was expelled from some school in Italy. "
"I heard her father's some rich crook."
"Which would explain the boob and nose job. "
They didn't even bother to speak quietly. Stupid, stupid girls...you just made a very big mistake. Bella shook her head with an evil grin on her face. She put back on her silk robe and slippers and then stepped out of the stall.
"Tsk, tsk girls girls girls. Didn't your mommy's tell you it's not nice to talk about someone behind their back? Especially girls who could tear you to pieces without much effort."
She waved goodbye to the girls over her shoulder.
"Tootles puttanas!"
She looked over her shoulder and smiled at them. The girls stood there in a state of shock their mouths hanging wide open. They were now afraid of being hexed, but that was for another day. Bella Sabatino had better things to do than waste her time with jealous girls. She would strike out of nowhere, surprise them. It was a wonder that hat didn't put her in Slytherin. She possessed deadly venom.
