One That Stood Alone

It's seventh year, and the war is ongoing. Harry has changed, but there doesn't seem to be anything Ron or Hermione can do about it, except hope he makes it out of everything alive. Little do they know; Harry's only enemy isn't just Voldemort.

Seventh year begins but things have irrevocably changed. When Harry aids his school enemy, previous thoughts shift and mold into unexplainable emotions. What really happens between the Slytherins?

Harry is oddly curious concerning Malfoy's state and can't seem to get it out of his head. Surely, once he knows Mafoy is alive then the thoughts and worry will end... right?

The war does not stop for anyone. Another falls causing Draco's anger to rise in order to cloak the sickening fear which tears at his core. Neither he nor Harry know which side his up or down anymore... But one thing is certain- no one here deserves to die.

Draco makes an irrevocable decision and Snape decides that the boys need a certain push in the right direction (against his better judgment)...

Draco insists that it is only possession- the insufferable need to conquer Harry Potter which leads him in such a way. Harry claims he only is using the boy to keep back the demons biting at his ankles. Yet oh so much more is about to unravel...
