Chapter 7

After the Weasleys left, Harry, Damien, and Desdemona headed up the stairs tiredly. They all headed straight for Des' room.

"So, Damien," Des started. "What do you think of Ginny?"

"Why did she say something?" Damien asked hopefully.

"There might have been something," Des said secretively. Harry laughed as his younger cousin attacked Des on her bed.

"Tell me," he said tickling her.

"Do you like her?" Des asked between giggles.

"Yes! NOW TELL ME!!" He screeched. Des just laughed.

"She likes you too," she finally lat out and Damien stopped tickling her. He smiled to himself then ran from the room to his own and shut the door. "Now your turn," Des said looking at Harry. "Spill," she said simply.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Harry said slyly getting up from the floor in case he had to bolt.

"Harry," Des whined putting on her puppy dog face.

"No," Harry said backing away. "Not the puppy dog face," he whined then sighed. She grinned happily and plopped down on the floor next to him. "He likes you too. A lot," Harry said. "I've never seen him like this. Sure he flirts, but never has Fred Weasley put his elbow, non-purposely, in a butter dish twice," Harry admitted. Des smiled and blushed. He just grinned. They both stopped as they heard shouting.

"Desdemona!" Someone shouted from outside. Harry and Des both rushed to her balcony and peered down to see Fred being held back by George and Ron. They were underneath Damien's window.

"Hey Fred!" Damien called down at them. "Over one, the one with the balcony!" Damien shook his head and closed his window.

"Can I go forward when my heart is here?" Fred said coming up under Des' balcony. "Turn back, dull earth, and find thy centre out." He shrugged off Ron and George's restraining hands.

"Fred what are you doing?" Des asked him totally bewildered.

"She speaks:
O, speak again, bright angel! for thou art
As glorious to this night, being o'er my head
As is a winged messenger of heaven
Unto the white-upturned wondering eyes
Of mortals that fall back to gaze on him
When he bestrides the lazy-pacing clouds
And sails upon the bosom of the air," Fred announced looking up at Des and Harry grinning goofily. Des ducked her head as she blushed.

"Fred..." Des started but couldn't finish because Fred started to climb the trellis that leaned on the wall. Then he announced as he climbed:

"There are little traits that keep me bound...

I think of nothing else save the bright face of my lady-

Ah me! Her swan-white throat, her strong chin,

Her fresh laughing mouth which daily seems to say,

"Come kiss me, love, kiss me once again!

Her regal nose, her smiling blue eyes-

(That thieve to steal a lovers heart)-

And her black tresses that wildly fly.

Each have wounded me as with a hex

So amorous are these that I deem they will slay me.

Ah God, ah God! Alas, who will save me?" By the time he finished he was all the way up the trellis and was peering into Des's blue eyes. "You are so beautiful," he told her brushing a stray hair away from eyes. She smiled at him and leaned into his lips. Des sighed into his lips. He was a good kisser. Fred climbed over the edge of her balcony and grabbed onto her hips to pull her up to him. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Ok, ok!" Ron yelled from the ground. "Can we go home now?!" Fred and Des didn't seem to hear what anyone was saying.

"Come on you two!" George yelled up. "My feet are cold!" Fred just smiled.

"When you're done kissing my sister, Fred Weasley, your parents are going crazy looking for you," Hades said from the balcony door. Fred and Des jumped apart at his voice.

"My parents?" Fred asked trying to flatten his now wild hair.

"Yes, your parents," Hades said covering up a smile. "Also, if you break her heart, I break your neck."

Fred nodded. "Until we meet again," he said kissing Des' hand graciously.

"Bye Fred..." Des said dreamily watching him climb down the trellis and run toward his home.

"Now you," Hades said grinning more. "When did you become all miss kissy face?"

"I'm almost sixteen, Hades!" Des said storming passed him into her room. "I've been kissy face for about 4 years!"

"Well excuse me Sassy McSassyPants!" Hades said walking from the room. Des fell back on her bed and Harry grinned down at her.

"That was a record for Fred," Harry informed her. "He hasn't been like this ever. You stole his heart, you princess of tease." Harry said jokingly. Des just smiled and covered her blushing face with her pillow.

(Most of the quotes are from Romeo and Juliet but the poem was written in the 13th century by some guy it didn't say his name. I know I used the same poem in Black Lily but it is such a sweet poem and I love it so tough luck if you don't like it!)
