Review review review!! And then review some more. If it's horrible, tell me. If it's great, tell me. I want to know! Thank you Caroline, yet again...I just can't thank you enough.

Emily and Harry walked into the Great Hall holding hands. Emily had her head on Harry’s shoulder, as they whispered.

As planned, Emily sat down on Harry's lap and ate off his plate more than she did hers. To everyone else, it was apparent that they were having a great time. Harry and Ron, on the other hand couldn’t stop laughing as Emily and Harry’s conversation was anything but romantic.

“My God.You weigh a ton for such a little person.” Harry laughed

“Thank you so much.” Emily's giggles turned into gales of laughter. It was then that Harry noticed Draco staring their way

“Don’t look, but Draco’s looking our way, with his ferret face on and everything" Harry grinned with an evil look in his eyes, and positioning himself so Emily’s back was to Draco, pulled Emily close to him , so her face was right next to his. Ron almost fell down with laughter.

After a minute or two, Emily pulled back, looked down, hoping she was blushing, and gave Harry a hug.

They soon got up, and walked out of the hall together.

“All snuggled up. God, we were practically attached at the hip back there.” Emily laughed.
As soon as they were safely out of sight, they sprung apart.

“Thank you so much, Harry. Although you didn’t have to do the kissing thing,” said a grateful Emily.

“No problem. But be sure to explain this to Hermione,” Harry warned.

“Oh, right. I will. She really likes you, you know.”

“Er. She’s a nice person.” Harry turned red and lowered his head.

“Right.” Emily’s tone was disbelieving. She knew Harry and Hermione were meant for each other, and she wasn't going to stand on their way.

But when Emily went into the common room to tell Hermione, she met trouble. Hermione was crimson, standing by the fire. She glared at Emily and Harry when they came in together.

“So.” Hermione crossed her arms.

“So what?” Emily was puzzled.

“Did you have to steal Harry?”

“No, Hermione, Emily didn’t steal me..” Harry tried to explain, but Hermione wasn’t willing to listen.

"Oh, I see what's going on. Are you going to tell me you fell in love? How sweet. Just a question, did you have to hurt me in the process?” Hermione's anger was evident.

“Hermione!” Emily tried to clarify, but Hermione still wouldn't listen.

“Shut up Emily! Let me talk. You’re a lying, cheating deceitful... I don't even think there is a word bad enough to describe you. I hate you! I hate you both!”

“Hermione!” Both Harry and Emily tried to hold her, but she was gone.

Harry and Emily were left, just staring at each other.

“Well, goodnight.” Harry sighed.

“Night, Harry. I'll talk to her, don't worry." Emily gave him a tender smile.

"Please do."

Emily immediately went to Hermione’s bed, pulling open the covers.

When Hermione started to get up, she sat on her, and covered her mouth.

“Okay, listen up. I do not, I repeat, do not like or even love Harry. It’s just all part of the Draco plot.”

“What?” Hermione was obviously disbelieving.

“ As Draco always wants to take everything Harry has, what’s better than his girlfriend? I didn’t kiss him, or anything like that, and we are only going to do this until Draco gets mad, and tries to..um..seduce me,” Emily clarified.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“You wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise.”

“No, why didn’t you tell me before?”

“Oh. I didn’t really think about it, I guess. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you. You’re so nice and everything..But how could you think I liked Harry? I mean, he’s nice and all, but I don’t know him that well. If you weren’t his friend, I wouldn’t really know him at all.

“Okay, well, you're forgiven, but how long will this go on?”

“Until Draco tries to get me. And then comes the big cool-off, and the break-up, and the rebound thing, blah blah blah.”

“Okay. Next time, you might want to tell the person. If I had been Pansy Parkinson, I would have strangled you with my bare hands for lack of a better way of expressing myself.”

"Ouch." Emily laughed.

It took almost three weeks of Harry and Emily ‘going out’ for Draco to do anything. In fact Emily was beginning to give up. She and Harry had decided to ‘break up’ in a week if nothing happened. But finally something did. Emily was walking to Potions, when Draco stopped her
in the middle of the hall.

“Emily.”

“Yeah?”

“I’m going for a walk tonight. You may come, ” Draco informed her in his usual arrogant tone. But as 'tempting' as the offer was, Emily took pleasure in declining it.

“Oh, I’m can't, I have plans with my boyfriend.” She smiled as Draco became puzzled.

“Your boyfriend?”

“Yes. Harry.”

“Potter?”

“Uh huh!”

“Potter.” Emily noticed as Draco's tone changed dramatically.
“Why is he your boyfriend?” He crossed as he demanded an explanation.

“Oh, he’s just wonderful, that’s all.”

“There are people better than him.”

“I have yet to find them.” Emily smiled widely as Draco muttered something that sounded like ‘damn’ and stalked off. Emily couldn't contain her laughter as she ran to tell Harry that he wouldn’t have to be her ‘boyfriend’ forever. The plan had given optimum results.

“This will be fun.” Harry smiled. “It'll certainly be interesting seeing what my ex does.”

“You and Hermione can get on with your lives. I feel bad for stopping you.”

“Yeah...”

Emily almost felt jealous of Hermione. Harry really was a great guy.

Emily and Harry cooled it, and finally, after two tries, Draco got his ‘yes’.

“But don’t tell Harry.” Emily whispered, looking around nervously, “He’d get so mad.”

Her statement made Draco smile as he tightened his grip on her hand. She preferred him over the Scarhead. Draco smiled, tightening his grip on Emily's hand.

"Don't worry. He doesn't have to know."

Emily discovered that Draco could be surprisingly nice when they were alone, and after her 'break up' with Harry, he turned out to be even nicer. She wasn’t sure if it was a show, or if he was really nice, but she wasn’t going to take chances. She decided to keep on acting like she sometimes wanted him and sometimes didn't, just to keep him interested. She had a feeling that Draco didn’t like what he could have easily.

He tried to kiss her several times, after they had been going out for a week, but each time he tried to put the moves on her, she would pull away. Finally one time, when they were walking, he stopped her under a tree, and pressed his lips against hers.

Although he was an awesome kisser, she had trouble at first keeping her body from stiffening. Closing her eyes and pretending that he was someone else, she let herself melt against him. His arms closed around her as he felt her respond.

After what really seemed like a long time, for Emily anyway, she decided to pull away.
“Why did you stop?”
“Because, I don’t know you that well. We shouldn't be rushing into things.

“Don’t you like me?” Draco asked in an evident arrogant tone. She had to like him. Her answer,
however, took him by surprise.

“Well..Yeah, most of the time.”

“What does that mean? Aren’t I a good kisser?”

” Sure. I just feel like we really are rushing.”

“Rushing?”

“Kiss me again.”

He did as she requested, and this time, she let him be the one to pull away. They went out for two weeks before his real personality began to show. His dark wizard character was so obvious that it sickened Emily, not to mention he was arrogant, selfish, and mean. Sometimes he would show his real, dark personality while on other occassions he was just kind. It was depending on his mood.

Emily tried to keep him guessing about where he was in her affections, whether she liked him, wanted him, or not. Their conversations were boring, as Draco wasn’t interested in Emily’s mind, just her physique.

They had been going out for over a month though, and she knew that she wasn’t with the ‘real’ Draco.

“I want to posess him, body, mind, and soul,” she told Hermione, “But he’s under this shell, and I can’t get through. What am I doing wrong? I try not to be too willing.”

“I don’t know.Maybe he can’t really get past his ‘shell’ without knowing that there is something behind you. Maybe it isn’t a shell. Maybe he’s just like that. Has he dropped the nicey-niceness?” Hermione asked her.

“Yeah, most of the time. Maybe I just have to make myself believe I want him.” Emily determined.

“Ugh,” Hermione shivered in disgust “Do you really want to?”

“I really want to get back at him. Maybe I just need to talk it out of him.”

“Ri-ight.” Hermione suddenly became sarcastic. “Sure. He’s not the talking it all out kind of person, if you haven’t noticed. How’s the kissing coming along?”

“Better. He’s gotten so much hotter, it's become a whole lot easier.”

Hermione laughed. “Yeah, I can see that.”

“He’s kind of creepy though, I mean, all he seems to want me for is kissing practice. I’m going to have a talk with him. And I’ll see, maybe I can force myself to crush on him.”

“Good luck.” Hermione smiled with pity. She couldn't believe Emily was really following through with this plan of hers. “I’m going to bed. See you in the morning.”
