The Life of Portia Boyd

It's 1971 and Portia gets to do some shopping. She meets a boy, a girl and a man who smells of Butterbeer.

Portia finally gets to go shopping, but before she does she runs in to some little problems. Join Portia as she tries to get out of eating Crab soup and solve the puzzle to why her mother is ill. Along the way she meets an acquaintance and for the first time in her life she listens to Jeff Beck.

This is chapter three part one. Portia begins her journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She encounters pranks, a redhead, and an upside-down boy outside her compartment. May I add the redhead isn't Lily!

Portia has a dream on the train, James becomes curious and Katie looses her manners. Also the Sorting Hat is back; what house will Portia be in?

Portia is sorted into her house and the whole school meets the new headmaster. After an encounter with Katie’s moody brother and Sofia’s morning habits, Portia finally begins to prepare for her education at Hogwarts. (Chapter four and five.)

Its first day of school for Portia, Katie and Sofia and they all get into some kind of bother. Katie is one of the first to face Professor McGonagall and Sofia is the first muggle-born targeted by the Slytherins. Portia witnesses something she will never forget and Dumbledore shows his true powers.

The first Quidditch game of the season is coming and Portia is asked…on an eleven year olds idea of a date. Also Sofia is finally introduced to the war beginning in the Wizarding world.

Portia is looking forward to Christmas. Now that she has got all her homework out of the way she can finally relax. After an interesting encounter with Lucius Malfoy and Sirius black Portia falls out with Sofia. Can they make friends again before Christmas day?
