The Mark of Death

Harry goes back for his sixth year with a tattoo-like mark burned into him - a new DADA teacher he cannot believe Dumbledore would hire, and an interest in an unlikely girl.

Harry leaves St Mungos and is asked to take over the deed to Sirius's house, which would also include Kreacher - and finds out the results of his OWLs.

Harry returns to Hogwarts for his sixth year (Post OOTP) with a new tattoo he didn't want, a DADA teacher he despises, and NEWT level classes from hell.

Harry finds out exactly how he made it into NEWT level Potions, his first class with the new DADA teacher, and more Occlumency with Snape, who is not impressed.

Harry has more Occlumency with Snape, finds out who Draco has been staying with over the summer, and Ron gets asked out.

Mudbloods and halfbloods are told to see the DADA teacher after dinner; arousing suspicion - Dueling practice begins.

Harry has more Occlumency, Hermione has an emotional breakdown, and someone gets killed!

Harry's interest in Luna grows, but does she return it? Harry and Hermione join the Weasleys at the Burrow for Christmas, then get an extra surprise at Grimmauld Place.

I hate summaries. OK, Harry and Draco have a little mishap in the halls, which looks a lot worse than it was in Snape's eyes. Harry begins to learn to perform the Imperious curse, and Gryffindor plays their first Quidditch game finally.

Draco drops out of Hagrid's class, Harry and Ron spy on Snape and Malfoy and see her blackmailing him. Harry learns to master the Imperious curse, and works more on his Occlumency.

Harry and Ron follow Hermione to see what she has been learning from Professor Malfoy - Harry learns to use the Cruciatus curse.

Harry turns the tables on Snape during an Occlumency session, but Snape handles it different than one would expect. Harry prepares for the upcoming matches against Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff with an eerie warning.

Unexpected tragedy at the Quiddich game between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw causes suspicion. Hermione humiliates Snape to get out of trouble.

Harry finds out about Dumbledore's absence, a new Minister is in the works, and Harry begins to learn the third Unforgivable.
