Author's Note:
This is short, sweet and contains one very bad gag. Possibly two.

"Sirius, where is my watch?" Remus was getting steadily more frantic, and the fact that Sirius was just lying there on the bed looking, well, looking very satisfied actually, wasn't helping.

"I think it is behind the plant pot," drawled Sirius, a massive grin on his face.

"And why did you throw it there?"

"It was digging into my skin," Sirius said, as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Remus sighed and went over to the plant pot. Sure enough, there it lay on the ground. He knew for a fact that the reason Sirius had thrown it away was because Sirius didn't want him to know what time it was. Sirius wanted Remus to focus on him rather than what he should have been doing. Remus was fairly sure that Sirius regretted ever buying the thing for him. Sirius really did have a vendetta against the watch and spent most of the time, when undressing his boyfriend, trying to throw it into places where it could be easily lost or broken. He bent over to pick it up and froze as suddenly he felt the warmth of another body against him.

"Remus, why are you trying to find your watch when you still have no clothes on?" Sirius was talking into Remus' shoulder blades, as he pulled him back into an upright position.

"Erm...I..." Remus was finding it difficult to make speech right then. Sirius carried on talking, running his hands up Remus' sides and round his hips.

"I mean it's not like you couldn't get dressed and then worry about accessories."

"I...wasn't thinking."

"I do seem to have that affect on you, don't I?"

"Yes." The word came out as barely a whisper, but Sirius was close enough to hear. It made him smirk. He started licking the back of Remus' neck, and it was a moment before he came up to whisper in Remus' ear again.

"What is it you're meant to be doing again?"

"Erm..." Remus blushed for a moment, since Sirius actually had made him forget, before it came crashing back to him. "I'm meant to be helping Douglas McKinnon with his DADA homework."

"Well, I can think of better things we could be doing." Sirius' hands started moving again and Remus couldn't help but groan. Slowly, Sirius started moving the pair of them back towards the bed. Remus tried very hard to struggle, really he did, but the way Sirius gripped his body like it was a lifebelt was very persuasive.

In someway, Remus had saved Sirius. When he had left his family and moved in with James, he had lost much more than a home. James was Sirius' best friend, and Remus would never want to change that, but Sirius had needed something more, someone to fill the place in his heart where his family was meant to be. Sirius had never been satisfied in any of his (many) relationships with girls and eventually they had gotten together through their mutual desire for affection. Sirius made Remus deliriously happy, but he was a terrible influence. Since the relationship started in November, Remus had missed about half the meetings set up with him and study-buddies. Not that he was going to complain too much when Sirius captured him half an hour before a prior arrangement and whisked him away to his bed.

"Aren't you meant to be at a detention?" Remus tried to say disapprovingly. He was, however, breathing heavily and found putting the sentence together harder than he'd imagined.

"I'd really prefer to be here," Sirius was short of breath as well and buried his face into Remus' abdomen, licking a path down his navel. The way Remus grabbed hold of his hair reassured him that his partner was in perfect agreement.

"Who needs to go to detentions anyway?" Sirius was asking rhetorically, but Remus pushed Sirius' mouth away from himself.

"Surely you can't be serious?"

"I am Sirius, and don't call me Shirley."

Just to make sure Remus didn't protest anymore, Sirius got to work distracting his boyfriend, a pleasurable experience for both of them.

Sirius was running down the corridor as fast as he could, he almost skidded past the door. He swiftly grabbed onto the frame and pulled his body into the classroom, sitting down at the desk as though, apart from the panting, he'd been there for the last forty minutes. Really, that werewolf was an awful influence on Sirius. Ok, he may be the Marauder that was most likely to get into trouble, but he never turned up late to detentions before going out with Remus. Teachers were never amused by someone who didn't take their disciplines seriously. Looking innocent at a desk was not going to work this time. Sat at the front was Professor Windspeed, potions mistress extraordinaire, possessor of the shrillest voice in all the land.

"Sirius Black, where have you been?" The screech made Sirius shudder. Her voice was almost as bad as chalk scratching at a blackboard.

"Sorry I'm late professor, I was shagging my boyfriend." He'd loved to have the audacity to say it, but he was already in too much trouble.

"Sorry Professor but I was trying to find my wand."

"How could you lose your wand?"

"Well the last time I saw it my boyfriend was using it to conjure up some lubrication."

"I left it in the library accidentally, and Severus Snape swapped it for a toy wand. It took me a while to retrieve my own from him."

Professor Windspeed sniffed. "Well, ten points will be deducted from you for being late and for your neglect. However I will also remove thirty points from Slytherin for their outrageous behaviour."

Sirius loved their Potions professor sometimes, and the way she would believe anything she was told. Although strict, she really did have a soft spot for Sirius, probably because he was the pupil she saw the most of.

"Now, we shall get on with producing some of the Bilinguis Potion you felt it was beneath you to make in the lesson."

And then, sometimes, he really hated the old cow.

Sirius was creeping up behind Remus, who was reading in the corner of the common room. It was late, it having taken a while to brew the potion. Remus had obviously stayed up for him, and Sirius could feel an ache in his chest at the thought of how much Moony loved him. The feeling was mutual. He saw Remus put the book down and yawned, stretching every muscle. He looked at his watch, just as Sirius pounced.

"What time is it Mr Wolf?"

Remus kissed Sirius on the lips, a long and deep kiss that Sirius could quite happily have kept up for hours.

"Time for bed," Remus said with a smile and, holding on to the front of Sirius robes, dragged Sirius up the stairs to the dormitory. Sometimes Remus knew the best thing to say, and sometimes that watch wasn't all that annoying.
