Ginny Weasley smiled at Argenta Turpin. "You really don't mind if I go and fetch Harry for my family?" she asked. Today, her flaming red hair, slightly wavy, was down, held back in a headband. Argenta's perfectly straight silvery locks were also down but one side was tucked behind her ear while the other side kept falling in her face. Ginny had often brushed it away.

"Of course not," she replied, taking the miniature pot of floo powder from her fireplace and taking off the lid. "Because I'm coming too."

"Oh, no," Ginny said firmly. Argenta's eyes instantly went puppy and her lower lip trembled.

"Oh, pawees," she begged. "I pwomise to behave mysewf." Ginny sighed, her resolution gone.

"Oh, fine. But it's not fair when you do that," she said conversationally as they each took a pinch of the powder. Argenta set down the pot.

"Why not?" she said. Ginny opened her mouth to answer but Argenta grinned mischievously and tossed her powder into the flames.

"Tell me once we get there," she whispered and stepped into the flames. "Arabella Fig's house, Number eighteen Privet Drive." There was a soft whoosh and the fourteen-year-old girl disappeared. Ginny sighed but a smile, unwanted, escaped and settled onto the redhead's lips.

After thanking Mrs. Fig for letting her use their fireplace, they started the short walk towards the Dursley residence. Ginny had been spending the remaining time of the summer with Argenta when the Weasleys had requested she had gotten Harry to bring to Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place, the current headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. The Order was a secret group of people that fought against Voldemort. Mr. and Mrs. Potter had been in the Order in the first War.

"So, why can't I do that?" Argenta asked.

"Because you're just too cute and I'll never be able to stand against you if you wanted me to do something stupid," Ginny replied in mock anger. Argenta touched fingers with Ginny.

"I'd never do anything to hurt you or make you do anything," she said softly. "I love you too much."

"I love you too, Argenta," Ginny replied, just as soft and tender. They had stopped and Argenta pressed a quick kiss on Ginny's lips before starting to walk again. It was only a few seconds before Ginny rapped on the perfectly painted door of number four Privet Drive. The door opened a half-giant was standing there. If Argenta had been ruder her jaw would have dropped. As it was, both girls could barely stifle bouts of giggles.

"What?" he grunted and they regained their composure.

"Is this the Dursley residence?" Ginny asked politely. His gaze slid from her to Argenta before nodding suspiciously.

"We need to speak with Harry, please," Argenta said.

"What! Are you freaks too?" he demanded and Ginny braced herself. Though Argenta was not exactly a Malfoy, she was proud of being a Pureblood. She didn't spit on Muggles, but she didn't go out of her way to be in their company, either.

"Excuse me?" she said quietly, her dark brown eyes flashing dangerously.

"You heard me! Get out of my house, freak," he snarled. The next thing he knew, he was slammed into the wall by Argenta's accidental magic. Two people came running and both girls burst out laughing, leaning against each other for support. The boy waddled he was so fat. He looked like a half-giant to the two girls, which made them laughed harder. The mother, on the other hand, was bony and her face looked horse-like. A skinnier boy loped out of the kitchen but stopped short when he saw Ginny.

"Ginny and . . ." he trailed off, eyeing Argenta appraisingly.

"Argenta Turpin," she managed to choke out before literally falling down. Ginny, without her support, also collapsed. Everyone stared at them for the several minutes during which they laughed. They only stopped due to severe lack of oxygen and even then they choked out giggles through their deep and slightly irregular breaths. After completely calming down, Ginny stared at Argenta.

"How come your hair is still perfect?" she asked in awe.

"My hair is naturally straight. It's nearly impossible to mess up. Something with my genes," she said with a shrug in her voice. Ginny eyed Argenta's knee briefly.

"You know, I don't see what your jeans have to do with your hair," she said teasingly and Argenta rolled her eyes, though she smiled.

"Ginny-" Harry began but a dragon landing on Argenta's arm cut him off. She removed the letter and rubbed its belly before letting it fly off. "You use dragon?" he asked, mildly interested.

"Yes, they're much faster and more effective," Argenta replied. "But we must be going. Get packed, Harry." He obviously found this command insulting and defiance flashed in his green eyes. Ginny rested her hand on his forearm.

"Please, Harry?" she asked quietly. He nodded and glanced at Argenta before going upstairs.

"I will NOT have you just come here and bloody take my nephew," the man yelled, turning purple.

"Vernon, the neighbors," she whispered. "The door's open." He nodded and the swell of his chest deflated a little.

"Harry will not go to that freak school," he said in a considerably lower tone.

"Merlin help you, if you say 'freak' one more time, I won't," she said coolly. It took him a few minutes to figure this out, then he scowled.

"Are you threatening me?" he asked suspiciously.

"How about this," she answered as Harry came down the stairs, lugging his suitcase, "I'll let you figure it out because that could keep you preoccupied for days." The trunk landed at the foot of the stairs with a loud clunk and Argenta unrolled the letter. It was addressed to her, from Mrs. Turpin.

Argenta,

Due to unfortunate circumstances, you, Ginny, and Harry are instructed to stay at the Dursleys until Albus gives you word. We received an owl a while ago so we sent Tebathi. Be safe.

Lillian Turpin

Argenta finished reading this just as a tawny owl landed on Harry's head.

"ANOTHER OWL?" Vernon roared. The owl hooted angrily before flying off, Harry just barely managing to grasp the letter. He read it three times and looked up.

"We can't leave the Dursleys," he said, disappointment sparking in his eyes.

"Oh, and who's going to stop us?" Argenta asked, arching a blonde eyebrow.

"Dumbledore said not to," Harry replied promptly.

"You can stay at my house until it's time to go to Grimmauld Place," Argenta answered. She had always felt, for some reason, a dislike of Dumbledore, though she normally respected his wishes if he gave her reason to. She couldn't deny he was powerful, though.

"What's-" he began but a look of ice from Argenta made him stop immediately.

"Oh, Argenta, calm down," Ginny murmured as she went over to help Harry with his trunk. As soon as they were outside Argenta threw up her arms and laughed.

"Stupid prejudice Muggles," she tossed over her shoulder to Ginny. Ginny couldn't help but grin. Argenta was always cold in the presence of a Muggle that hated Wizards.

"So, Ginny," Argenta whispered," when are we going to tell them?" They had been discussing this subject for the past month. Ginny glanced at Harry.

"No time like the present. I think we should tell Harry right now," she whispered back. Argenta was surprised at the urgency and that she didn't want to tell her family first. "It'll be easier to say it to him first."

"What are you going to tell him? About us or about the fact you're homosexual." Ginny shrugged.

"I'll know when I talk," she replied then called, "Hey, Harry?"
