- Well I hope you all liked the last one! Thanks to all who reviewed you guys rock!
Simply overjoyed that she would be able to stay with her favorite cousin Oliver and her beloved Aunt Bailey, Roxanne once again found her quill, ink bottle and a scrap of parchment (for some reason it was all under Ginny's pillows.) to write her own letter back to her cousin. This next question would be harder to ask him, as you can surely imagine once you find out what said question actually is, and she, normally as would no one, definitely did not want to burden her family with something like this.
However, she did have faith in Oliver. She believed that with his cunning he would be able to make things work out for her somehow. Besides, she did not think that she would have to stay with them all too long, anyway.
After a moment, she suddenly became very frustrated with herself. 'Roxanne! Why must you always think that they will do whatever you ask them to, whenever you ask!?' she thought, extremely angry with herself. 'Someday they will not be able to accept something you ask of them, and you won't have a clue what to do. You can't expect them to be your slaves forever!' she sighed, suddenly defeated by the obvious. 'But,' she thought, 'I need them to know this now, anyway. They would be so disappointed if I didn't tell them, and we really wouldn't be staying all that long if they were alright with it...' She gave up, confused, and started to write.
Oliver-
I really can't thank you enough, honestly! I just can't wait to see you and Aunt Bailey! Don't you worry, though, I really won't have to stay all too long, so I won't be such a burden. A friend and I will be buying a home together... Somewhere. Eventually. (I will add a P.S. to explain.) Oliver, I warn you now, don't worry about us, because we'll be just fine. You'll see. We'll write and visit lots, I promise.
Anyway, as for arriving at your house, I shall arrive at King's Cross station when school ends (of course) and drive from there. I will, of course, need to stop at Diane's manor to collect my belongings. I expect, knowing her, that she will try to beg me to reconsider my decision and marry that rich prick Malfoy. They are such stupid, evil gits. I hate them both, I really, really do. If only Daddy hadn't... Anyway, thank you so much, Oliver.
Your loving cousin,
Roxanne Wood
P.S. (This is where I explain everything. Well, almost everything, I hope...) The reason that I am not planning to stay too long at your home is this: I am soon to cease being Miss Roxanne Amelia Wood, and become Mrs. Roxanne Potter. Harry has proposed to me, and, of course, I have accepted. We have started saving our money and are planning for our wedding, after which we will buy a house of our own. And don't you even think about offering to help pay for anything at all, Oliver, because this is our responsibility alone, and you have done enough for me already. Anyway, Oliver, I realize that this may be too much for me to ask of you now, but may Harry, perhaps, stay with us until the wedding date? If not, I am sure that he is more than welcome to stay with the Weasleys at the Burrow.
