My Year with Draco Malfoy

Hermione POV

I was walking along after coming from the library when I saw HIM, the very bane of my existence. He always thought he was so cool and smooth but I saw him for what he really was: a scared little boy who knew no other way to get attention. That was the reason Draco Malfoy harassed me the most out of the Gryffindor Dream Team. He knew I had him figured out and did not want me to reveal the truth to anyone else.

I very briefly thought about taking the longer way to the Heads Common Room, going through the Gryffindor dorms but figured he would notice me anyway. I walked right past him and through the portrait. Once in I could hear him talking about me to his posse. I just ignored him and walked into my room to continue my studying. I had to finish my Potions essay so I could start on my other classes.

I hear Malfoy come in a few minutes later and resume his discussion about me but I just tune him out and finish what I am working on.

About an hour later I could no longer ignore the feeling in my stomach. I had to have some food. Before I reached my destination, however, I ran into the most important event of my life.

Draco POV

I had been standing outside of my common room when out of the corner of my eye I spotted HER. She was the absolute worst person I could see right now. I noticed she stopped and seemed to be contemplating something. I hated her most out of all the "Gryffindor Dream Team," well all the school really. She thought she had me all figured out but she was dead wrong, I really am the way I portray my self. She finally decides to come my way and just ignores me as she walks into our, wait sorry, my common room! I don't even wait till she is out of earshot to start talking about her. I am hoping she will come out and give me a reason to hex her. Well I am out of luck.

Instead I invite my friends in and talk even more about the Know it all Gryffindor Mudblood. The girl has to be deaf; she doesn't even come out to tell me off. Damn, now I actually have to pay attention to Pansy and her stupid discussion on her hair, great!

About an hour later I start to head out to get some food. It is when I get close to the kitchen when I see her again, Hermione Granger, the Mudblood. She had the same idea I did. Well here is my chance to bug her. I start to walk toward her when I feel something pull at me. My vision starts to swirl and the only thing I can truly focus on is the fact the she has the same thing happening to her. We both hit the ground and before I blacked out the last thing I saw was a woman standing over me with a ring of light around her.
