Someone Like Me

After only two weeks with the Durnsleys, Harry's finally back at Number Twelve Grimmauld Place. But with Sirius gone and Ron and Hermione's constant fighting, all he can think about is getting back to Hogwarts for his sixth year and escaping it all. But when he finds out Kenzie Townsen, a beautiful, soon-to-be fifth year Gryffindor with a past much like Harry's is scheduled to arrive at Gimmauld Place, Harry decides this summer is looking better already.

Kenzie's due at Gimmauld Place soon, everyone keeps giving Harry that odd look, and his stomach won't stay put! On top of it all, he's still got to clean!

It's Kenzie's second day with the Order of the Phoenix, and O.W.L. results have just arrived. Of course, a full-scale row errupts, and Harry and Kenzie have a moment alone. But when mysterious footsteps wake her in the middle of the night, is Number 13 Grimmauld Place really as we all think?

Kenzie wakes up in the middle of the night to find to someone sitting on her bed. Who is it? What do they want? Maybe Kenzie and Harry are more alike than we think.

It's Kenzie's birthday, a fact she's been trying her hardest to hide. Still, the secret slips out, and before she knows it a huge party is being thrown in her honor. That evening, even Kenzie has to admit she's enjoying herself -- until a terrified scream is heard over the laughter at the party. Someone's missing, and a huge secret is about to be revealed that will change Kenzie's life forever.

After Hermione is kidnapped, Mrs. Townsen finally reveals to Kenzie secrets she's been keeping for the past fifteen years, secrets about the deaths of Kenzie's parents, the reason Kenzie was sent away at a young age, the reason they are at Grimmauld Place, and, most of all, that Harry and Kenzie's fates are more deeply intertwined than anyone ever imagined.
