Author's Note:
Review?

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing,
Watch you smile while you are sleeping,
While you are far away and dreaming,
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender,
I could stay lost in this moment forever,
Where a moment spent with you is a moment I treasure...

I just don't want to miss a thing.

The War is finally over, and people have died, perished, starved, been murdered...but still...the world spins. Voldemort has finally been defeated. Both sides have lost loved ones. Through torture, through spells, or murder. Muggles and Wizards alike...they are happy the war is over...but they are sad. It has left the world in at state that cannot be reversed. There is no love; people are now to scared to love, because they may be ripped from loves clasp, into death. Hogwarts is still standing...though badly battered. There is not the same aura around it either. What was once a happy, cheerful place, where people could go to get away from things, now feels like a cold, unhappy, loveless place that people are scared to spend time there. A smile hasn't gone past anyone's lips since the end of the war. People walk the halls with lifeless faces, the only laughter was forced, and the only smile was of congratulation.

Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter, sat staring out of the Astronomy Tower's windows into the War torn grounds of Hogwarts. The lake was red, with the blood of fallen soldiers; the foliage was singed with the fire and spells. They had been here when the war was raging on just outside the grounds; at least it was safer than most places. People were nursing injuries; it may have been mental or physical. No one knew. No one told anyone anything any more.

'Why did this have to happen?' Draco was looking at the lake, watching the waves fall on the sand and dye it red.

'I don't know...but we sure didn't deserve it.' Harry emerald eyes were searching Draco...looking for something, even if he didn't know what it was.

Draco tore his eyes away from the window and stared piercingly into Harry's. 'What are you looking for? I have nothing to show you.'

'How do you handle it?' asked Harry.

'Handle what?'

'Handle life without love like this...it's tearing me apart...but you don't seem to be bothered.'

'But I can't handle life. My mother was murdered by my own father...I don't want it to rip me apart.'

'My Godfather was murdered by your father, just when I thought I got him back. Where is your father now anyway?'

'Dead...I have no one else.'

Harry looked into Draco's silver eyes...they were extremely sad, but it was being blocked. Then Harry realised what he had been looking for in him. Taking Draco's head in his hands...he let his lips run over Draco's...he tasted like vanilla...sweet.

'Get off...what are you doing?'

'Kissing you.'

'I noticed. Don't do that.'

'Fine.'

Draco hoped that Harry wouldn't notice. He pulled out his wand, and muttered a spell, which made a large couch appear out of nowhere. He grabbed Harry by the shoulders and threw him onto the couch. Harry was stunned and didn't move. Draco knelt with one knee either side of Harry's legs. With one hand he loosened Harry tie, the other tore at the buttons on his shirt. Fiercely, he bit at Harry's lips with his teeth. Harry was trying to kick his shoes off with his feet. Draco had succeeded in opening his shirt, and was now proceeding to unbutton his pants. Harry, whom had gotten his shoes off, was now tugging at Draco's shirt, which ripped down the seams. Harry's hands were free, and they grabbed at Draco's hair. He pulled his hair back, which momentarily stopped Draco.

'What are you doing?'

'Doing it the proper way.'

'You're good.'

Draco smiled, it was something that Harry had never seen him do, it made him look so pure, so beautiful, that Harry couldn't help wanting him more and more. It was infectious, and Harry smiled too.

Draco had begun, from the top, he began kissing Harry from the very top of his forehead, and then kissed both his eyes, moving down his cheek, and biting his lip, ever so lightly. Draco kissed along Harry's jaw line, all the While Harry, groaned with lust and ran his fingers through Draco's hair. Draco had moved from Harry's jaw to his neck, and then down his chest and stomach...

Harry had returned to the Gryffindor tower at eleven o'clock, he had been down there since five.

'Harry, where have you been?' Hermione had a horribly worried look on her face. 'There has been a bomb scare.'

'A what?'

'A bomb scare...Dumbledore sent a message over the loudspeaker.'

'What?'

'He said...' Harry never heard anymore, he was already out of the common room, and in the main hall.

All of a sudden there was a large rumble, and debris flew down the hall, a large fireball ran down the hall, and Harry was quick enough to get out of the way as it went past.

'Draco!' He yelled as the fire died away.

'No...no, please no.'

Harry ran towards the Astronomy tower. It was blown to pieces...Harry rummaged through the rubble. A hand, dirty, and bloody emerged. Harry threw off the rubble, and uncovered Draco, battered, bleeding, and in much pain, but he was still alive.

'Draco! Oh shit.'

'Harry?' Draco had seemed to regain consciousness.

'What happened?'

'Bomb...Harry...I...'

'Wait a second.' Harry picked up Draco in his arms, and carried him to the couch; it was still there, although covered in dust. He laid him on the couch, and sat nest to him, Draco's head on his lap.

'Harry...I...I just wanted to say...'

'Say what.'

Harry could see that Draco was rapidly losing concentration, vision, and consciousness.

'I love you Harry...' Draco said, and he closed his eyes, and his breathing slowed to a stop.

'Not again...' Harry's eyes blurred, and he sat Draco up, and hugged him...as never to let him go...
