Eighteen year-old Harry Potter looked over at his best friend, Ron Weasley, and tried, for the nine-millionth time over the course of the last six months not to break out into a wide grin of disbelief and laugh hysterically: he was getting married! The bright October sun shone through the window of Ron's attic room as they both got into their dress robes and put their wands in their pockets. All in all the two wizards were ready to go down to the wedding.

"Harry Potter, do you take this woman to be you wife?" asked the minister.

"I do," he replied, looking at Hermione and her quite round abdomen and thinking of the little Harry or Hermione growing in there.

"And do you, Hermione Granger, take this man to be your husband?" the minister asked Hermione.

"I do."

"Then, by the power vested in me, by witness of all present, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Harry obliged amid cheers from those gathered.

Then came the time for Ron and Luna's wedding...

"Now it's time for the other half! Do you take this woman to be you wife, Mr. Weasley?" the minister asked.

"I do," he replied,

"And do you, Luna Lovegood, take this man to be your husband?" the minister asked Luna.

"I do."

"Then, once again, by the power vested in me, by witness of all present, I now pronounce you as well husband and wife. You may also kiss the bride."

Ron and Luna got up from their table and came to where Harry and Hermione were dancing.

"So, mate, how's it feel to be a newlywed?" Ron asked Harry.

"Wonderful," said in reply with all the sincerity in the world.

"How about you Mrs. Potter?" he queried of Hermione.

"I couldn't feel more happy."

"That's great!"

"What about you two?" asked Hermione.

All Ron and Luna could do was smile at them.

"So, where are you two going on your honeymoon?" asked Luna somewhat conspiratorially.

"We're going to go on a tour of the States," answered Hermione. "Harry and I think it would do us both some good to get away from England for a while."

"How about you?" Harry asked.

"We're thinking of going back to Hogwarts for a while and lending our services," Ron said

"Well, good luck..." said Hermione

"...and have a safe trip!" Luna told them.

"We will."

And so, it was time for the newlyweds to depart. They hurried to the Weasleys' orchard and mounted Harry's Firebolt. He kicked off and flew up to Stoatshead Hill, where they had caught an old boot to the Quidditch World Cup years ago.

"Well," said Harry, "time to find our Portkey to the States."

"Go on, dear," replied Hermione, sitting down on the grass. "I need to catch my breath."

"Are you okay?" Harry asked with concern.

"Yes, the baby's just a little bit restless. We're fine"

"Okay," Harry sighed and started looking around for the Portkey.

"Here it is, darling," he called, picking up an old tin can. "Be right there."

"Okay."

"ARRRGGGHHHH!" Hermione yelled.

Harry whipped around and pulled out his wand. He ran to his wife and asked, "What's wrong?" although he believed he knew the answer, and that it boded no good.

"The baby..." she gasped.

"Hold on."

Harry grabbed his bride, sat her on the Firebolt and sped off back to the Burrow, with laboring Hermione clutching his waist tightly.
