"Fred Weasley! Get down here! How many times must I tell you to clean up your mess?" Mrs.. Weasley's voice boomed throughout the Burrow.
"Mum!" A voice of a boy, about 20 years of age yelled down the crooked steps in the dilapidated house. The voice continued, "How do you know it is mine? Could be George's, you know!" George was his twin brother, and happened to be out of the house, and unable to defend himself.
"Just get down here and pick it up right this instant, young man. I was going to allow you to use magic, but now you're on your own! Come on! Your company will be here any minute!"
He came down the steps in a hurry, HIS company. She wasn't coming for his brother, too. She was their best friend, besides Lee Jordan, and Fred had always had somewhat of a crush on her. Her name was Persephone Windsor, and she was perfect. Her hair was long, and flowing to the center of her back, with layers from her shoulder. It was black, but looked more blue in a certain light, the way most deep black colors do. Her eyes were bright blue, and her teeth whiter than anything known to man, or so Fred thought. She was amazing. One look could take the most heartless persons breath away. The only draw back was, she was a Princess. She wasn't anywhere close to getting the throne, and she did not care. She was a Quidditch star, and played on the, now undefeated, Chuddley Cannons.
Fred stopped thinking about her, and started cleaning up his mess. He had all different shapes and sizes of jokes in that living room. He was co-owner of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, and had brought a little work, home with him. "Okay Mum, it's done. Now, I'm going to run upstairs and change."
She nodded, and Fred was no sooner up the rickety stairs when a knock came on the door. "Hello Mrs. Weasley, pleasure to meet you. I am Persephone. Thank you for allowing me to stay here, and visit with my two favorite twins."
Mrs. Weasley smiled kindly, and showed her into the house. "Sorry to say, but you'll only be seeing one twin, for George is out of the country getting supplies for that stupid joke shop."
"Really? Well, this won't do. I won't be seeing them for a very long time, and I am afraid I'll only be here for a few hours. Is Fred here now? May I see him for the time being?"
"Fred! Fredrick Weasley! Your friend is here. Hurry up now!" Mrs.. Weasley yelled up the steps. "I'll leave you two alone, and if you need anything, just yell for me." She smiled and left.
He was unlike any other boy she had ever met, and she had met a lot. His red hair was slightly longer than it was at Hogwarts, and he had a few more muscles to fill his sweaters. She had always enjoyed his company over that of his brothers, and always thought he was much more cute, even though they were twins. "Hey!" She exclaimed, getting up and running over to him. She threw her arms around him and gave him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey." He said, returning the hug, and felt his face go red from the kiss. "How are you? Where's you're things? How long are you staying? Oh, sorry." He laughed. "It has just been so long since I saw you, out of photographs, that is."
She smiled at him. "I'm not here for long. Actually, I only have about an hour, and then who knows when you'll see me again. I will be alright, so do not worry. Now, that's all I can tell you. Please, do not ask me for more. That's make this hour one you'll remember until we cross again."
They talked and laughed and joked for an hour, until she looked at her watch and got up to leave. "Please," he said tears filling his eyes, "Don't leave. I... I..." He didn't know what to do. "I love you, Persephone." She sat back down. "Stay here, who cares about your family. Who cares about Quidditch, just do not go."
"I care for you, Fred. I really do, but you do not understand my obligation. Now, I have to go this instant, or who knows how much bad things will go on. Please understand. Do not send me any owls, do not even think about me. Just let me go." She gave him a quick kiss, wiped away a tear, and vanished. He cried well into the night, but did as she said, he moved on.
"I've been waiting for you, granddaughter. Where on Earth have you been?" A cold, sly voice echoed through the empty room.
"Taking care of some unfinished business, grandfather." She bit back some tears, and any fear in her voice. "But I am here, I'm always here for you, even if I do not approve of your behavior." Truth was, she really hated the man who left her grandmother, mother, and herself. He killed so many, and did not care.
"I know you do not approve, but you soon will. You soon will claim your birth right to this growing empire. For I am Lord Voldemort, and you shall be heir, Persephone."
She cringed as he hugged her. She was not there to be an heir, she was there to counter any curses against the good, innocent people of both muggle and wizard decent. A door opened, and she pulled away, his arm still around her. "Good gracious! Your excellency, is that who I think it is? Is that Persephone?" The man with blond hair bowed to the floor to Lord Voldemort, and took Persephone's hand and kissed it.
"She has finally seen past all the weak and undeserving people of the world and has joined up with the greatest wizard alive to deal with them. Persephone, do you remember Lucius Malfoy?"
She feigned her interest and said in an uncaring way, "Mr.. Malfoy, Draco's father?"
Lord Voldemort laughed, an unlikely event. "Goodness! Mr.. Malfoy. You are better than he is, call him Lucius." He was still chuckling.
"Or I could call him what I please. I am not your little minion to order around, Grandfather." She was growing tired of this place already.
"She has got her grandfather's demeanor. How wonderful." Lucius Malfoy threw in. "Which by the way sir, I have a son, Draco, who's out of Hogwarts, and wants to join up with you. To help you rise in the world. Would you like to meet him?" Lucius' nose bent to the floor again.
"I think I'll see if my granddaughter feels he is worthy. Persephone, take care of this, please." Lord Voldemort said as he made his way to a corner chair. "Please, proceed."
Draco Malfoy, a very handsome boy of 18 came strutting into the room. His eyes widened when he saw Persephone. "You! What are you, the perfect Gryffindor Chaser, Headgirl, and goody-two-shoes doing here? Father, I think if I show her a thing or two, Voldemort will be pleased, don't you?"
But before Lucius could say, or do anything, Persephone jumped at the opportunity to prove herself loyal to her grandfather. "It's Lord Voldemort to you, Draco, and I happen to be his granddaughter, so," She took out her wand, said, "Crucio!". She really hated seeing someone being tortured that way by her own wand. "Now, what was that counter charm? Hmm... Let's see" She honestly couldn't remember. "Finite Incantatum." She was relieved to see Draco collapse to the floor, not twitching. She walked over him and yelled to the corner, "Going to my room now, Grandfather."
