After Sirius falls through the veil, he struggles to find his way back to the other side, not knowing if he's dead or alive. Along the way he meets a strange companion, Nizi, prophet of the fairies, and discovers the art of travelling to other worlds voluntarily, of which the first is a dream world. There meetings of old friends and new enemies are not near the impossible. Acceptance of what is is what Sirius learns, but that never stops him from trying to change it!
