When Harry met Luci

This Series of Fortunate Events all started one Saturday before term inside a little shop in Diagon Alley called Flourish and Blott's. It was a nice day to buy school supplies, and as you can imagine that was just what Harry and his friends were up to. After a little episode with their newly assigned Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Gilderoy Lockhart, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny were on their way out when they got stopped by no other than fellow peer Draco Malfoy.

He was approaching them after coming down a flight of stairs. He was obviously a little jealous of the attention Harry had just received and he wanted to tease him a bit. After exchanging a few harsh words, Draco's father, Lucius, appeared behind Draco undetected by the others, as Ginny was defending Harry by saying, "Leave him alone!"

She was embarrassed by her sudden willingness to speak up and hid quickly behind Ron. Draco took this as a perfect opportunity to embarrass her a little more.

"Oh, look Potter! Got yourself a girlfriend!" he said.

"Now now, Draco. Play nicely," said Lucius to his son. Any one who did not notice Lucius's presence, which was everyone but Hermione, jumped slightly at the sound of his voice. It was strong, deep, and very manly. No wonder he controlled practically half the Ministry.

He was smiling as he pushed aside Draco with his one-of-a-kind wand holder. No body, not even Hermione this time, knew that behind that fake smile, Lucius was really hurt by the comment Draco had just made. Potter with a girlfriend? What chance would he have now?

He decided he must get rid of any competition.

The Dark Lord had given Lucius his old school diary. He gave Lucius no specific plans for it so Lucius wasn't sure where to place it and what the Dark Lord intended it to do. In fact, Lucius hadn't heard from the Dark Lord for nearly a month which was when he had actually received the diary. He did know, however, that it was extremely dangerous. Good. Perfect for getting rid of any threats that came between Harry and himself. But just how would he get away with planting such an evil thing in a little girl's possession in the middle of a crowded shop?

Mr. Weasley was making his way over. If Lucius was going to do this he better act now. Casually making a rude comment about the Weasleys he picked up one of Ginny's school books. He could just slip the diary in behind the book and no one would know. Genius! If Harry could only see him now!

Speaking of Harry sparked an idea in old Lucius's head. His wife was gone and if he wasn't mistaken Draco was going over to a friend's house tonight for a little sleepover. Lucius would have the whole house to himself. Well, not if he could help it that is.

Lucius casually swept his long blonde hair off his shoulder with the front of his hand.

"Harry, Harry, Harry," he said.

"What?" Harry responded. He could feel butterflies inside his stomach. He wasn't angry, he felt kind of nervous for being addressed by Lucius, whose blonde hair was still flowing in the light breeze. He felt an urge to lean forward, close to this man's face, close his eyes, and-

"So what do you say, Harry?" Lucius said.

"Huh?" said Harry. He was completely lost in what had just happened for Hermione had given a little gasp from behind him.

"Dinner at my place. Around eight. I want to discuss a few things with you, Harry. Things that you might take an interest in." Lucius looked as if he was going to throw up. What if Harry rejected? What would he do then? Surely not go back to that ugly wife of his. No. Never. It was either Harry or death.

"Err." Harry wasn't really thinking about whether he really should go or not. He already knew the answer. He just had to put on an act for the people that were surrounding him. If only Lucius knew how he really felt. "Yeah, sure. I guess I could. That is if it's okay with Mr. Weasley."

Mr. Weasley was a little taken back at Harry's response. He was about to say, 'No, definitely not!' but was stopped by a sudden pain in his left foot. He looked down and saw Harry's foot move from underneath his robe. 'Well, if Harry was so keen on going, why the hell did he bring me into this,' Mr. Weasley thought.

He wet his lips with his tongue. "Well, I don't see any harm in it, Harry. As long as you are home by ten," Mr. Weasley said.

Two hours? Two bloody hours is all he would spend with Lucius! This is an outrage, a scandal! Harry fixed Mr. Weasley with a harsh glare.

"Oh, err, I mean when ever you feel ready to come home, Harry, is fine with me," said Mr. Weasley. His foot still hurt. Man, Harry must really want to go for dinner.

"Right then." said Lucius. He was smiling and this time it wasn't a fake. This was the happiest he had ever felt since, well, since ever. Harry Potter is coming over for dinner! Harry Potter is coming over for dinner! This was all he could think about.

"So I'll be expecting you around eight. My wife will be gone so I'll be making dinner. I'll fix up something special for you, Harry," said Lucius. He wasn't sure but he could have sworn Harry had winked at him.

"See you at dinner, Harry." But before leaving Flourish and Blott's he replaced Ginny's school book back inside her cauldron along with the Dark Lord's diary, for she was still a threat, and was out the door.

What a nice ass, thought Harry. He had a wanting to give it a little spanking. Bad Lucius, you bad boy.

"See you at school," Draco said interrupting Harry's thoughts. And he walked out after his father and out of sight.
