Selling out
Is not my thing
Walk away
I won't be broken again
I'm not
I'm not what you think

Dream away your life
Someone else's dream
Nothing equals nothing

Letting go
Is not my thing
Walk away
Won't let it happen again
I'm not
I'm not very smart

Why should I feel sad
For what I never had
Nothing equals nothing

Turn to stone
Lose my faith
I'll be gone
Before it happens

Chapter 2 - No Prince Charming

Allura woke groggily, not remembering going to sleep. She looked around, and found the room she was in didn't look familiar. I have such a bad memory! she thought irritably, eyeing a bedside table next to her. She found a short stick similar to Tom's was on it, but as Allura reached for it a hand stopped her.

"You won't be needing that," said a voice. "Not yet, at least," they added.

Allura blinked, adjusting to the dark room. "Tom?" He nodded, she continuing. "Tell me why I don't remember you, Tom. And why did you kiss me?"

His face turned slightly red at this, but it went away quickly. Sighing heavily, Tom replied, "You wouldn't believe me anyway. That bastard Dippet put a Memory Charm on you."

"A bastard put a what on me?"

Tom raised an eyebrow. "You mean you don't remember anything? Not even Hogwarts?" To his reply Allura shook her head confusedly. Getting impatient, he sighed again, gazing at her wearily. "Maybe another time, Allura. I have much to do."

She frowned at this, remembering the Asian. "Like murdering more innocent people? More bystander victims? You didn't even care about that man when he begged for mercy! You're going to let his body rot and leave his family to grieve!"

Tom stood up, glaring menacingly at her. Allura moved away a little, eyeing the stick in case of defense. Tom noticed this and took it, placing the stick in his pocket. "Maybe so, Allura, but just be grateful I spared your worthless life." He stormed off, slamming the door behind him.

From then on, Allura never believed a single word Tom said to her.

After a while Allura calmed down from her angry mood and stood up, looking around again. It appeared to be an old abandoned shack that could have been torn down in seconds. A window was nearby to her, and she moved her hand off some dust covering it and looked outside, shocked at the results.

Outside was Tom, surrounded by a circle of black-cloaked figures, and with similar short sticks in their hands like Tom did. Tom kept pointing to the shack, speaking quietly to them, sometimes pointing out a few of them for specific instructions. One of them moved out of the circle to speak, but Tom shouted strange words again with the stick in his hand, pointing it to the figure. Suddenly they started shrieking in pain, cowering in fear in front of him. Allura frowned as she heard evil, high-pitched laughter from Tom. After a few words from a different figure muttering to him, Tom lowered the stick, immediately the figure in pain getting back up, trembling back into his spot in the circle. The other figures eyed him for a moment, then turned back to Tom, who was pointing to the shack again, grinning evilly. But before he started speaking again, he could feel Allura's gaze on him from the window, a malicious look on his face as he stared at her.

Immediately Allura screamed, running from the window and rushing to the door, finding it locked. For a moment she thought of calling for help, but she knew this would only speed Tom and those figures to her. After another moment of kicking at the door to get out, she sighed, feeling powerless. Slowly Allura slumped back onto the bed, wishing she was somewhere else. She closed her eyes for a moment, but quickly opened them when finding one of the black figures standing over her with a grin on his face.

"So, you're the one Master has been speaking about." The evil grin was still there. "I think we'll have lots of fun with you."

Allura glared, kicking at him. "Get away from me!!" she yelled, attacking him with her fists. Suddenly the figure pulled out that stick she had been seeing all of them with, about to say something when someone else came inside.

"Do we have a ... problem ... here, Malfoy?" growled Tom, eyeing him angrily.

Malfoy backed away from Tom now, glancing at Allura once. "Of course not, Master."

Tom grinned, noting Allura's presence. "Is he telling the truth, Allura?"

Allura looked at him, surprised by his reference to her, words coming slowly of her mouth. "He threatened me," she said simply.

He still looked oddly amused. "Oh really." He walked closer to her, Allura too scared to move. "You may leave, Malfoy," said Tom in the figure's direction. "Tell the others we are leaving soon for Durmstrang." Tom waited until Malfoy left to speak again. "All right now, Allura?"

But she wasn't listening, Allura wondering at the name. "Drugstore? What?"

Tom laughed softly at this. "Durmstrang, Allura. But I think you'll remember your old school as soon as we get there. Already you're remembering. At Hogwarts you used to be known for your black belt in karate. Everyone believed you to be fearless. But," he sighed heavily, "I believe I've proven that wrong. Just seconds ago you looked at me as if fearing I was going to kill you. Why don't you trust me?"

"Why didn't you give that guy down there a break? There wasn't any reason to give that much pain to him over nothing!!"

Tom glared at her forebodingly, Allura's eyes widening. "Over nothing, Allura? Maybe your ears deceived you while you were eavesdropping. That idiot Snape wanted to let you go. Thought you weak and unimportant! But I know something he doesn't." His glare turned to an evil grin. "You're a sibling of me, the Dark Lord Voldemort. You have just as much Dark magic inside you as me! You'll be a powerful ally with us. Join me!" He put his hands on her shoulders, looking into her eyes wildly.

Allura took all this in slowly, getting to the part where Tom was her brother. "TOM?! YOU KISSED ME!! I'M YOUR SISTER!! THAT'S JUST SICK!!" She took his arms off her disgustedly and backed away from him, glancing at the window for an escape.

Again Tom read her thoughts, pulling out yet again a short stick and shouting yet some more strange words, turning the walls to stone. As Allura turned around to him in fear, he laughed evilly. "So? You kissed me back. Admit it. That makes you as sick as I am."

Allura frowned. "Excuse if you didn't tell me my last name! My name might not even be Allura! I might be somebody else! I bet you've got the wrong girl."

Tom laughed again, this time high-pitched and more cruelly. "I seriously doubt it. You haven't changed at all, Allura. Never got out of line once, did you? You're just a little Miss Angel. But I'll make a Dark wizard out of you yet, even if it kills me." He grabbed her arm tightly, ignoring her groans of pain. "And if it does, at least I know I have you to take my place. So, I guess this means you've joined me, haven't you, Allura Riddle?" His penetrating gaze into her eyes made Allura know she had no other choice. She sighed heavily, gazing back at him wearily.

"Why are you so evil, Tom? I don't remember you like this."

He blinked at this, staring softly at her. "Then you remember me?"

Suddenly Allura's eyes started to well with tears, shaking her head furiously and moving away from him. "Not like this! What's happened to you, Tom?! Why don't I recognize you anymore?! You've become so cruel that it scares me!!" She sat on the bed, covering her face as tears dripped down it.

Tom groaned irritably, rolling his eyes and muttering something that sounded very much like, "Sensitive little bitch ..." But as he eyed her again, memories filled Tom's mind and he sat next to her, watching her for a moment. "Allura," he said softly, making her look at him. He smiled. "That's just how I am. You can't change me back, Allura."

"That means you can't change me, either." She stood up and glared at him, awaiting his comeback.

Tom frowned irritably again, getting annoyed of the argument. "Well then, I guess that makes us even." Slowly he strode out of the room, not turning back to look at her as she slammed the door behind him.
