Here is Ginny, sitting by the fireplace on her own.

After five years since her first year.

She's listening to the voice of the fire's crack, and staring into the flames. It's all coming back to her now.

Flashbacks from her terrible, horrible first year.

There's no reason for her to try and deny it, because then she's only lying to herself. But she's trying, she really does.

She's trying to forget. Not to forget that she almost got killed. She's trying to forget what she felt for him, what she is feeling for him.

Everybody thinks she's in love with Harry Potter, the famous Harry Potter. They couldn't be more wrong.

Maybe that's her hideout, she doesn't have to lie about her feelings for Tom. He may did try to kill her, but that is the last thing she remembers from back then.

But now all she doing is to sleep.

The one thing that she's sure about is her dreams. Maybe she can't see him, can't touch him, but she sure can dream about him.

And then she's dreaming about him, holding her in his arms.

She refuses to think that he was only using her.

But when she wakes up, everything's back to normal.

Ginny to her lonely days, passing by with loneliness and sorrow.

Everywhere she turns to in the castle looks different, different from what she is desirous to see. People pass her by, not trying to talk to her anymore, useless, they say.

No one understands.

The only one who seems to refuse her sorrow is Malfoy.

Draco Malfoy.

So unlikely him, every day that passes on by, all he can see is Ginny, sitting alone, staring in the blank air.

There were rumors about her - in love.

And he knows, the only one.

The diary, the same one that almost got Ginny killed, is with him.

More than once he thought about giving her the diary, to pull her out of her misery, but that will only draw her more to him.

He can't stand to see her like this. The pain.

All the pain she contains within herself.

He doesn't understand, how can everybody be so blind?

And then he understands.

He cares about her, and he will save her.

Ginny's eyes are already fiery red from crying.

Tears are falling on her cheek, she doesn't even bother to wipe them away. It won't help to get it away.

To wipe the pain of love.

But then again, her dreams seem so real.

When he hugs her, kisses her.

Telling her that he'll never leave her.

She loves him so badly.

Her friend and her worse archenemy.

No one had never made her feel the way he did.

She tried to date a lot.

It didn't help. The boys were badly exhausted of trying to make her feel better. And now she's free to herself. And for Tom.

Though Draco really loves her, he will never make her feel the way Tom does.

People can see the difference in Ginny. She looks more cheerful when she's with Draco. She can easily fool them.

When she hugs Draco, she fancies - Tom.

And that's make her feel really guilty.

After five years she decides to get over him. To let him go.

The thoughts about him, Every minute, hour, day, week, month, year-

Made her understand. He might not be the one she fancies.

He might not be the one she really loves.

And now she thanking him.

This realization made her a different woman.

She did love him, but not the true him - not the true "before Voldemort".

Not the one who killed his father, almost her friends and - herself.

She loved the one who listened, the one who cared, the one she knew was hiding inside of him.

But she understands. He doesn't have a soul anymore.

Draco by her side.

Cares for her from the bottom of his heart.

She can't stop comparing between the two.

But she knows that maybe if she were born fifty years ago, she would have a chance with him.

Her affection for Draco grew bigger, only thanks for her imagination of Tom.
