- Author's Note:
- This is the real meat and potatoes of the story. It was the hardest to write because I had to put in most (sorry newbies) of the DD's and who they were with. If you were at the detention thread when I started writing this and you are not in it tell me and I will feel like and idiot.
The Wedding: Chapter 3
Time drug by. Walking down the isle seemed to take forever. All the while Morwen had her eyes locked onto Severus' and nothing was able to make her turn away from his gaze. When she finally reached the arch she took Severus' outstretched hand and together they turned to face Albus.
Albus cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Today we come to join these two lovers in matrimonial bliss. After this day they will be know as one. They will be joined mind, body, and spirit. Forever locked in one another's hearts, never to be separated." He looked and them and said, "Severus and Morwen, please place your hands in the air touching one another. Now these two shall be joined in the company of their friends and loved ones."
So saying, Dumbledore tied a golden cord around their touching hands and began to recite the age-old words of bonding.
"Con questa luce si uniranno come una e si transformeranno in una. Non essere separato mai nelle loro lotte o nelle loro gioie. With this light they will join as one and become one. Never to be parted in their struggles or their joys."
A light surrounded the couple.
"Con questa luce le loro anime si transformeranno in una. Non essere districato mai nella morte o nella vita. With this light their souls shall become one. Never to be untangled in death or in life."
They began to rise off the platform and hover slightly above the wedding arch.
"Con questa luce le loro menti si transformano in una. Per non nascondere mai qualche cosa da a vicenda. With this light their minds become one. Never to hide anything from each other."
The light started to circle the couple and grew brighter, and the guests covered their eyes.
"Con questa luce si uniscono. With this light they are joined."
As soon as the words were said the light seemed to explode engulfing everybody in a golden light. Then the couple floated back down to earth, holding on to each other for balance. When the light dissipated the guests saw Morwen and Snape sharing a deep kiss.
"Ahem, I believe I haven't told you two that you are allowed to do that yet," said Dumbledore looking sternly at the couple, but the smile on his face told the real story.
"Sorry, Dumbly. Go ahead," Morwen said, unwrapping herself from Severus.
"Alright then," Dumbledore said. Then, clearing his throat, he went on. "Now that you two have been joined into one, Severus, may now kiss the bride."
Severus immediately did as he was told and kissed Morwen deeply. The guests began to clap and Sree and Diamond let out a little squee. Then, with tears in their eyes, they ran up and hugged the newly weds.
"I am so happy for you two! I can't believe you finally did it," said Diamond, wiping away tears.
"But you know what this means, don't you?" said Sree with a big grin on her face.
"What?" said Snape with a cringe.
"It is time for the after-wedding party!" said Sree and Diamond in unison. Snape groaned and Morwen just laughed. They were going to have a good time at this party.

The wedding reception was being held in Hogsmeade at a little bar that was off limits to Hogwarts students, The Hinkypunk. The party was in full swing when Morwen and Severus arrived, arms wrapped lovingly around the other's waist.
"What took you so long, Ducky?" said Oneofthosegirls. "Did you forget the way?"
"Umm, that's right. We got lost," said Severus, looking at Morwen with a smirk on his face.
"But we are here now, so let's get the party started," said Morwen untangling herself from Severus long enough to grab a mai tai from Kitty. Then the music was turned up, more drinks poured, and people started to dance.
Morwen and Severus walked around the small room getting congratulations from all of the detentionees and their respective better halves.
Starry and George, Sevens and Fred, and Coolgreeneyes and Ron were all sitting at a table together swapping jokes and new things to do to teachers. The twins had come up with a new flavor for their Skiving Snackbox. It was a sweet that made you hiccup uncontrollably until the teacher told you to leave.
Harry and Kitty were standing at the bar serving drinks. James and Dia, and Sirius (15) and Sarah were on the dance floor shaking their groove thang. Agent 36 was busy singing a rousing rendition of "Chasing Sirens" by Orgy on the karoke machine, while Ennil, Sirius (17), and Spike were sitting at a table knocking back glass after glass of tequila.
"Great party!" yelled Ennil with a slight slur to her speech.
On the dance floor Sree and Diamond were trying to start a conga line. The only people they had added so far were Professor Dumbledore, Remus, and Azi's clones. Everyone else was happy to sit back and let them make fools of themselves.
"Severus, why don't we join the conga line?" asked Morwen with a slight cajoling tone to her voice. She really did want to join; she had always loved a conga line. If she joined maybe more people would too and then Sree and Diamond wouldn't look like such idiots.
"Are you serious? You want me to join a conga line?" he said, aghast.
"Well you don't have to, but I am." With that she walked on to the dance floor and grabbed the hips of the person in front of her and began to dance.
Upon seeing the bride out on the floor dancing and acting like and idiot, the others realized that it might be fun. Eventually the conga line was snaking around the room lead by a very happy Sree.
When they had exhausted that fun activity, Morwen plopped down in the nearest chair, downed a glass of punch, and fanned herself. Dancing is hard work. While she was sitting Blood Falcon and Azi, on Neville's arm, came by to congratulate her.
It was then that she noticed she could not see Severus. She looked all around the place asking everyone if they knew where he went. All she had found out is that Rae had seen him go out the back door.
Morwen dropped into a chair in front of the stage. "I can't believe he just left like that. The next time I see him I will kick his arse!" But that sentiment soon passed when someone walked out onto the stage.
It was Severus, and he was in a 50's Muggle suit. He had his hat tipped at a rakish angle, and was looking at her from underneath the brim. The most surprising thing was in his hands he held a microphone.
"Oh this outta be good," said Starry.
"I think he is going to sing," said Kitty, dumbfounded.
Then the music started to play and he looked up and into Morwen's eyes. He began to sing.
Those fingers in my hair.
That sly come hither stare.
That strips my conscience bare.
It's witchcraft.
His voice was a pleasant baritone. Already sexy enough when he was talking, his voice was even more seductive when singing. Morwen melted.
'He is singing to me,' she thought. 'Oh, he is going to get so lucky tonight.'
"But one I wouldn't switch. 'cause there's no nicer witch than you." As he finished the last line Morwen ran up to the stage and hugged him.
"We have to go. Now," she whispered in his ear. And then turned to the crowd which was still recovering from the astonishing performance.
"Well, everyone, I am sorry to say it, but we have to leave. Now, now, don't get upset," she said when a few of the people let out groans of despair. "You all knew that we were going away after the wedding was over. We are going to a little cabin in the woods where we can be alone. We will see you in a few weeks. Bye, we..." she changed her mind when she looked up at Severus. "I'll miss you."
Morwen then grabbed Severus' hand and they walked out of the bar and on to the streets of Hogsmeade. When they got to the middle of the street Severus put his arm around Morwen's waist and they dissaparated.
"Well, isn't that grand," said Sevens.
"Isn't what grand?" said Fred.
"They just left us with the mess to clean up while they go off and snog!"
