Survivor: Harry Potter Style

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Draco had been the proud winners of a cruise sponsored by Witch Weekly magazine, for being the most commonly mentioned teenagers in the articles. The cruise was to go through a tropical portion of the world that is invisible to a muggle eye. The ship was small yet magnificently luxurious and had but a few tenants and crew. This was to provide a private setting for the young wizards so that they may relax to the best of their ability.

One day however, while sailing through the tepid water, the ships captain fell asleep at the helm. A stray ice burg floated into the ships path and, although the first mate, Mr. Murclock, attempted to turn the boat, it struck the gargantuan mountain of ice. Unfortunately, the ship was sinking fast and no other liners were with in a decent range. The passengers and crew quickly filed into the lifeboats, grabbing as much of their belongings as possible, and just as they began rowing away, the ship sunk beneath the waves.

They rowed for hours on end it seemed, and soon a dark fell upon them that were so suffocating, they lost track of the other boats. Hermione, Ron, Harry, Ginny, Draco and a young female sailor filled one boat, while the remainder of the crew occupied the other. As the night grew deeper, the more the life boats parted. By morning they were completely separated with no chance of being reunited.

Using a directorial charm that Harry had acquired in fourth year, they were able to discover a small island in the distance. At the sight of the land mass, the efforts to row grew more urgent and soon they came to its white sand shore. Little did they know that they were entering a place which they would not leave for some time to come. These are the chronicles of six teenagers forced to live in a secluded island. Forced to get along and work together. Forced to grow up.

As the teenagers filed onto the silky sand, looks of worry painted their faces. There didn't appear to be any sign of a muggle or wizard inhabiting the land mass at any point. The beach stretched along the rim of the island, outlining thick tropical vegetation. It appeared to be relatively flat minus a few tree covered hills in the center. Harry looked over to see Hermione and Ron gazing thoughtfully at their surroundings. The two felt Harry staring and turned to look at him. They all looked very appealing with highlighted hair and tan skin from the proximity to the equator.

"This is all your fault Potter!" yelled Draco. "We wouldn't even be here if you weren't so famous." Harry turned to look at him, a degrading expression on his face. He was going to reply but realized it wasn't worth the effort. He walked over to the young female sailor.

"Do you have any idea where we are?" Harry asked. She looked into his eyes with her glassy ones.

"No. I'm sorry. Actually this was my first time sailing. I had never even been on a boat before." She seemed absolutely miserable and a single tear rolled down her cheek.

"Great," Draco sneered. "We're trapped on a disserted island with the world's worst sailor. Not like a girl would do us much good anyways." At this comment Hermione turned on Draco and walked towards him, a fierce mood emanating off of her. He took a step back but held his stubborn gaze. Her face was stunningly close to his, though he pretended not to notice.

"If you have something against girls it's only because you're jealous! Tell me Malfoy, what was your class rank?" Hermione shouted. The noise bounced off his face and he shuttered soundly. He held his stare firm, though he had no idea how to respond. "That's what I thought. Now if you're quite finished, do us all a favor and shut up because the only thing worse than being stuck here, is being stuck here with you!" Draco opened his mouth but closed it quickly. He relaxed his jaw and broke their eye contact.

Ron goggled at Hermione, a smile similar to a coat hanger plastered across his lips. When Hermione turned to face him, he captured her eyes and grinned into them. She smiled back causing the look to transform from friendly to flirty. They both shot their eyes away from each other to avoid an awkward moment. They had been having a lot of those lately. It confused them for they had never felt this way about each other before. As much as they tried to fight these feelings, they had become harder and harder to suppress. Harry noticed it and decided it would be better to let them figure this one out on their own. Some how he knew deep down, that their friendship wouldn't just be a friendship for much longer.

"Alright," said Harry with a sigh. "Well first things first, let's see what we have." He strode to the beached lifeboat and began heaving a suitcase out of it. Ron came over to lend a hand while Malfoy stood glowering at them. Ginny hadn't said a word the entire time.

"I have a tent in my bag," said the mysterious sailor. "It can house the six of us. It comes with beds and all. You only have to set it up." She seemed immensely eager to help so she could prove she was worth something useful. Harry dropped a bag onto the sand and looked up at her with a grin.

"That should be very useful," he said as he stepped closer to her. "But before we go using all of your things, perhaps we could know you name?" The others stopped what they were doing and turned to face her. It had not occurred to anyone that they should ask and they all felt slightly embarrassed for not doing so.

"Oh, it's Lilianna. Though you can just call me Lily," she said rather awkwardly. Harry cringed at the mention of this name. It was the name of his mother, the one person he would die to see for just five more minutes. Draco smiled at the name for he thought it was very pretty and suited her well. Draco then realized something and smiled smugly.

"Wow you guys are such gits!" he laughed with a snear. They all turned to look at him as he extracted his wand from a pocket. He pointed it at the remaining bags in the boat, yelled Wingardium Leviosa, and marveled in the looks on his peers faces as the suit cases lifted gracefully into the air and down onto the sand. "'Can I get a what what?' to quote a muggle song." Lilianna smiled at this since she recognized the song he meant.
