The New Future Death Eater

Chapter One

Another summer

*Flip Flip* This is what Hermione Granger did on the train ride back from Hogwarts. Flip through pages. She sat alone, reading Hogwarts a History in a train compartment. Why? Because her best friends, Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley, were in another part of the train with their new girlfriends: Lavender Brown and Ginny Weasley, Ron's little sister.

But Harry and Ron never really talked to her anymore. Sometimes she thought that maybe they'd forgotten she was there. After they had fought the Death Eaters in April, she felt like they didn't want her around anymore. But she didn't really like to talk about what happened in April because she didn't even get recognized for the help she had done. If Hermione hadn't helped Harry, he would have gotten captured. But this wasn't what was on Hermione's mind. The big thing was her parents. They hate magic people. Her dad always beat her for being what she is.

: FLASHBACK: SUMMER BEFORE FIFTH YEAR

"HERMIONE," her dad screamed. "COME HERE!"

Hermione came down very slowly and stopped right in front of her father.

He came up to her and grabbed her by the arms, yelling, "CLEAN THIS UP NOW!" Then he pointed at the mess he had made. Hermione answer back,

"But I didn't make this mess, you did!" Then, he raised his hand at her and started to beat her.

: End of flashback:

Hermione cried at the horrible memory. She screamed, "I HATE MUGGLES!" And she sat, weeping bitterly, without noticing that a certain blonde boy was there.

He looked at Hermione and said, "So the Mudblood hates Muggles." He came in and sat down.

Hermione just looked at him sadly, and replied, "Draco, I'm
sorry." She began to cry again.

Draco was shocked about what she said, and asked, "Why are you sorry?"

"Because I shouldn't be here because of what my family is." She looked out of the window and sighed. "But I didn't want to stay there, because if I do, I get beatings from my parents."

Draco stared at her and finally said, "Well, you still have Potter and Weasley, don't you?"

Hermione laughed at the question. "Ever since they've had girlfriends, they've forgotten me." She punched the wall and screamed, "I HATE THOSE TWO!"

Now, Draco thought that he was going crazy. I'd never guess Granger would hate those two. Well, I guess you do learn something new everyday. Draco started to look up and down at her, but stopped when he saw a chain dangling around Hermione's neck. Upon it was a pendant that said Best. It was exactly like Draco's mother's chain, but hers said Friends.

Draco picked up the chain from her neck, and said, "Where did you get this from?"

Hermione looked at him, thinking what she should say. Should I tell him? I should. I mean, I don't really care anymore. Should I tell him about the adoption? Yes, I'll tell him the whole thing.

She said, "I think you should read this." She pulled out a small piece of parchment from her schoolbag and handed it to Draco. It read:

Dearest Hermione,

When you read this, we're sure that you are very angry and confused. First, if you do not know, your real last name is Lyrions. We are sorry that we had to give you up, but we were about to be sent to Azkaban, and so we gave you up to a Muggle orphanage. Your mother is leaving her chain to you; it is connected to you guardians, Narcissa and Lucius. When you are introduced to the Wizarding world, please find them. When you do, show them this chain, and they will know who you are. I hope you choose to follow our footsteps. We love you. If you can, try to see us if we haven't been Kissed or killed yet.

"Why didn't you tell me this?" asked Draco after reading the note. "You knew that your guardians are my parents"

Hermione look at the ground and replied, "Well, when I found out you already hated me and Harry and Ron hated you and your dad."

Then there was silence and then Draco spoke, "Well, you can stay at the Malfoy Manor with me." And then he smiled.

Hermione thought about this. I think I think I should stay with them. Yes, I should, so I can forget the Order, Ron, and Harry. Maybe I'll follow my parents' footsteps and become a Death Eater.

A big smile came upon Hermione's face and she answered, "I'll stay at your house with you." She stood up in front of him and said, "Lets get ready, since the train is about to stop."

Hermione and Draco came up, and the first person they saw was Draco's father.

He looked extremely angry. But, before he could say anything, Draco said to Hermione, "Show him."

Hermione pulled out the chain, and Lucius said, "I. can't...believe...it...I... thought you were dead." He gave Hermione a hug and asked, "Do you want me to talk to the Muggles about you staying with us?"

Hermione shrugged, and replied, "No, I don't care what they say, but, thank you Mr. Malfoy."

Lucius stated, "Please, call me Lucius." and he turned to Draco, gave him a piece of paper, and said, "It will activate when you say Malfoy twice. I will see you two tomorrow." Then he Disapperated.

Draco put the paper in his pocket and turned to Hermione and said that they should get their stuff. Hermione nodded, and they went to go and get their stuff.

Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Lavender walked off the train and onto Platform nine and three quarters. After Ron had said his goodbyes to Lavender, the three walked to where Mrs. Weasley stood.

Ron was looking around to find Hermione to say goodbye, but when he saw her talking to Malfoy he stood there, mouth gaped open.

Then Harry saw Ron, and asked, "What's the problem?"

All Ron could do was point, and Harry saw it. Why in hell is Herm talking to Malfoy like a friend?

Harry and Ron glared at the sight, and Ron said, "Lets go and ask the hell she is doing."

They walked to where Hermione was, and Ron screamed, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

Hermione replied in a calm voice, "I am about to leave with Draco. That's all I'm going to say." She made a little smirk, Malfoy said something, and they were gone.
