Chapter 1

Ginevra Weasley, a beautiful sixteen-year-old girl who had a lot going for her. She was one of the most beautiful girls in her year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, had almost perfect grades in all her classes, had boys chasing after her left and right, a loving family, and wonderful friends. She seemed to have the perfect life, until one night.

It had been a rainy day for a Hogsmeade trip, but still, Ginevra went. She no longer went by the name of 'Ginny,' thinking it made her sound too young. So despite everyone's complaints, everyone called her 'Ginevra.' Anyway, back to Hogsmeade. Harry, Hermione, and Ron had gone shopping, probably looking for a present for Ginevra since her birthday was coming up in a few weeks, so she was alone in the Hogs Head, drinking a Butter Beer. She was just minding her own business when she saw somebody sitting on the stool next to her.

Ginevra looked over and asked, "What do you want?" She hadn't meant to sound cold, but the person that had sat down next to her was one of her least favorite people. This person had also been trying to make her his for over a month, which made her hate him even more.

"I can sit wherever I want, Ginevra," came Draco Malfoy's silky voice. Then he looked up at the scraggily looking bartender. "What do you want to drink, Ginevra?"

"I already have a drink, thank you," Ginevra replied, and pointing toward her Butter Beer. "And why do you keep saying my name at the end of everything you say?"

"Simple, I love your name, Ginevra. But really what do you want? I can get you anything, you know that." Well there it was. Every time he talked to her, he had to make the point of saying he could get her anything she wanted, no matter what the cost. He looked over at her and smiled.

"You chose," she whispered and blushed at the charming smile, and she mentally smacked herself. It sounded like she was flirting with him. But was that really a bad thing? Draco Malfoy was gorgeous, no one could deny that, and could sometimes be a decent guy, when he tried. It wouldn't be a surprise to Ginevra if she liked Malfoy; no matter how many Weasley laws she was breaking.

"Okay then, Ginevra," he looked back up at the bar tender and said, "Two Fire Whisky's." He pulled out six galleons and lay them down on the table. Ginevra quickly guzzled down the last of her Butter Beer, anticipating for the Fire Whisky. Her taste buds jumped with joy, and her heart was pounded. What was the big deal? It was only a drink, a very intoxicating drink. A Fire Whisky was filled with alcohol, and just drinking two of them could declare you legally drunk.
A minute later, two glasses were pushed toward them, and Ginevra stared at the cold drink. She saw Malfoy lifting his drink up to his lips and taking a small sip. Then he looked at her, just staring at her Fire Whisky. He shook his head at her childishness.

"Oh come on, Ginevra," he said, smiling at her, almost as if he was laughing at her. "It's only a drink. Trust me, it's good, you'll like it."

Ginevra nodded, and placed her hand around the glass. It felt cold and seemed to send a shiver down her back. Then she lifted it to her lips and drank almost a quarter of the drink, and she didn't stop there.

"Whoa, slow down there," Malfoy laughed, pulling the cup away from her. "Don't wanna get drunk, now do you?"

"That is delicious," Ginevra exclaimed. She tried to reach for the Fire Whisky, and Malfoy didn't try to hard too keep his body from touching hers. The drink was in Ginevra's hand in a matter of seconds. Soon, she had drunk the whole thing and wanted another one. In five minutes, Ginevra had managed to finish four Fire Whiskeys.

"Draco," she giggled, resting her head on Malfoy's shoulder. "Drakie did you know that you have the prettiest eyes that I have ever seen."

He managed to hide a scowl at the word 'pretty', and smiled to Ginevra. "And did you know that it's time to go? Everybody else is gone." This was, of course, a lie. It was only three o' clock in the evening, and everybody was still at Hogsmeade, shopping and whatnot. But Ginevra didn't know this, considering she was drunk and wouldn't be able to tell if he was a ware wolf. Besides, all Malfoy wanted was to be alone with Ginevra.

"Really?" Ginevra asked, looking around the empty bar. The Hogs Head wasn't that popular; it was a place only few people seemed to go. But today, Ginevra and Malfoy were the only ones in it. "Hmm. I ga-guezzzzzz you're riiiiight." Her words were slurred and made almost no sense. She stood up and nearly fell over on top of her face, but Malfoy had managed to catch her by her waist.

He looked over at the bartender, standing Ginevra up and asked, "Are there any rooms here?"

The man looked over at him, noticed him as Lucius Malfoy's son, and grunted while cocking his head to his side. Malfoy smirked and stood up, holding Ginevra's hand.

"If three people come in here looking for her, tell them she went back to Hogwarts," Malfoy whispered to the bartender, throwing seven galleons to the bartender. The bartender nodded, then went back to carving something into the wood with a knife.

Ginevra was like a movie drunk, walking in all directions, her speech slurred, and everything seemed blurry to her. Once Malfoy got her in the secluded room, he locked the door and looked around. Wasn't as nice as his house, but nice all together.

Malfoy led Ginevra over to the bed that was pushed up against the wall and sat her down. She laughed as she lay down, pulling Malfoy on top of her. They smiled at each other and soon, there lips were connected and clothes were being pulled off.

She was so attractive
Her parents overprotective
She met another boy with a Lexus
And they made out on a mattress

The next morning, Ginevra woke up to a room she didn't recognize. Her vision was blurry and her head was pounding with a headache, she felt as if she might lose everything in her gut. She blinked a few times, trying to clear her sight, and after a few times, she finally saw clearly.

Oh God, was the first thing she thought when she looked around the room. The room was filled with green and silver items; the rug was silver, green drapes over the windows, green and silver candles. But that would mean...

No, Ginevra thought. She would never sleep with a Slytherin. Never, no matter what would happen, under no circumstances would she have slept with a Slytherin. But no Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw would have been intimate with anybody in a room plastered with Slytherin colors.

She felt something stirring next to her. Ginevra froze, not daring to look at the person. She didn't want to know what Slytherin had slept with her, but she couldn't help thinking about who it might be. Was it Blaize Zabini, she wondered? Theodore Nott? Oh God, what if it was Crabbe or Goyle? Had she actually let someone like that see her naked body? That was something she kept to herself. Sure, she'd kissed many boys in the past few days, but never slept with any of them. At the present time, she didn't have a boyfriend; she just flirted with many good-looking boys at Hogwarts and went on dates occasionally, turning down a lot of the offers. So why would she have slept with someone she wasn't dating, and a Slytherin nonetheless?

Deciding she'd better see who'd gotten her to go to bed with him, she looked over at the body, and gasped. Why was she so surprised, so hurt? He'd been trying to get her to go out with him since the beginning of her sixth year when every guy had started asking her out. He'd shown that he would do anything to get her, buy her stuff, send her wonderful gifts (which she'd kept, but hidden in a box under her bed), had actually shown her respect, and had even tried to be nice to Harry, Ron, Hermione and her family and friends. He'd made no cruel statements about her being poor, or Hermione being a mudblood, Harry and Voldemort. So why was this so shocking?

Draco Malfoy opened his eyes and smiled at seeing her bare chest. But why was she looking at him like she wanted to kill him? Didn't she enjoy last night? Didn't she like him, like most of the girls did at Hogwarts?

"You!" she shrieked. She pulled the sheet off him and wrapped it around her naked body. Pulling her clothes on, she continued yelling at him, "How could you do this?!"

"Oh, come on Ginevra," Malfoy drawled. "You and I both know that you loved every second of last night. So you can stop playing hard to get now." He got out of the bed and tried to snatch the blanket from Ginevra, wanting to see her whole naked body.

"How did you get me to sleep with you!?" she yelled, pushed him away from her. He stumbled back, but the smiled stayed on his face. He could lie to her, saying that she and him had gone out on a date, and had ended up here, and she wouldn't even know if that was true to not since she'd been completely drunk last night. But would he?

"You were drunk," he replied calmly. "You wanted me, so I let you have me. What's the big problem with that?"

"You knew I didn't want you! If I did, I would've gone out with you when you asked me! But no, you had to get me fucking DRUNK to get me to sleep with you! I didn't think even YOU could stoop that low!" she had tears in her eyes, and if she had her wand, she would've cursed Malfoy a thousand times and feel no regret.

"You know, they say that when you're drunk, the whole truth comes out," Malfoy whispered, touching her cheek. She slapped away his hand. "And you seemed pretty into me from what you said, Miss. Ginevra Weasley." He attempted to touch her again, and she hesitated to push him away this time.

"Who would ever be into a pig like you?" Ginevra hissed, stepping back. "You're nothing but an insecure little boy who would do anything to get what he wants! I thought you liked me, as you never miss a chance with trying to get me to go out with you!"

"Good God, Weasley!" Malfoy yelled, throwing his arms in the air. "You thought that I, a Malfoy, actually liked a Weasley? Please, don't flatter yourself. Don't you see why any guy likes you? Your looks, that's all! Trust me, I hear everything they say! You're gorgeous, but that's all they think of you! I just wanted you to get in bed with me then I'd be done! And now that that is over with, I can go back to my regular life and let all the other blokes at Hogwarts know what you're like in bed. See ya."

Malfoy walked out of the room, leaving Ginevra to collapse on her knees and sob uncontrollably. How could he do this to her? Was what he said true? Was her body the only thing the guys at Hogwarts wanted? What the hell had happened? It seemed like, in less than twenty-four hours, her whole life changed.

*=*=*

The next few weeks went by to slowly for Ginevra. She seemed to be eating a lot more than usual, gaining a lot of weight, getting sick a lot, and her grades started dropping. Nothing made sense anymore; Malfoy had changed her whole course of life. But one thing was certain; everything he'd told her was true. Ever since she'd started gaining wait, no guys asked her out anymore. This made Ginevra's life go even more downhill than before.

Then suddenly, seven months later, two months before school let out for summer vacation, when it had been obvious that she had gained a lot weight, Ginevra collapsed during class one time, complaining about having severe cramps on both sides. She'd been sent to the Hospital Wing and Madam Pompfrey had taken x-rays on her stomach to see if there was anything wrong with her. But when she came back, Ginevra wasn't ready for what she was about to be told.

"Miss. Weasley," Madam Pompfrey had started out. "When, exactly, did you start gaining all this weight?"

Ginevra though back to when it had all started, and realized it had been only two weeks after Malfoy and she had had sex. Tears started falling down her cheeks, realizing what had happened. No, she screamed inside her head. She wanted to scream bloody murder, kill Malfoy, and most of all; she wanted to kill herself for not coming to Madam Pompfrey earlier.
No, she thought. This is not happening. She could not be...

"I'm pregnant?" She asked in a low whisper, not even needing Madam Pompfrey to tell her. Ginevra put her hand on her stomach, and jumped when she'd felt a kick, that made even more tears fall. She tried to sit up, but the weight was too much. She lumped back down and covered her eyes with her hand, desperately wishing that this were all a nightmare, a horrible, horrible nightmare.

"Do you know who the father is?" Madam Pompfrey asked her softly. Ginevra couldn't tell her that Malfoy was the father; she doubted she could even tell her family. Only one thing could be done.

Ginevra shook her head, at the same time saying, "No. No, I don't." What was she going to do? She had to tell Malfoy that he'd gotten her pregnant, but what would happen? Would he deny it? Would he say that some other stranger had probably knocked her up? How would she tell anybody about this?

"I need to go," Ginevra whispered, gathering up all her strength and bolting out of the bed, wiping her eyes. She ran out of the Hospital Wing and headed down to the lake, where she knew he'd be.

Indeed, she was right. There he was, lying on his back, surrounded by flirting girls, all desperately wanting to get his attention. She stopped, wondering if she could have the courage to talk to him about this. But one thing she wouldn't do was telling him while all those other girls were around him.

Collecting all her strength and taking a deep breath, she walked over to him, aware of all the stares on her. But she didn't care; he needed to know that he would be a father, and that he needed to take responsibility for his child.

"Malfoy?" Ginevra whispered. He looked up at her and smirked.

"What do you want?" He hissed. Ginevra looked at all the other girls staring viciously up at her.

"They have to go before I tell you," Ginevra whispered, signaling at all the other girls surrounding him.

"Well, tough luck. Get away from me." Malfoy looked away from her, and started talking to all the other girls.

"God damn it, Malfoy! Get up!" Ginevra was surprised at herself. Usually she had a lot more ease of controlling her temper, unlike her brothers and father.

Malfoy stood up, and it just now occurred to Ginevra how tall he was compared to her. "I don't have to listen to you, Weasley."

"I don't give a rat's ass! You and I need to talk!" Ginevra was about to start crying all over again, but held it in, trying to look strong.

"No we don't. I told you, I'm done with you. I got what I wanted; now leave me the fuck alone!" He started walking away when Ginevra grabbed his forearm. He turned roughly around and pushed her back, making her stumble back a little bit.

"Don't you ever touch me again, Weasley," Malfoy hissed. "I don't want to see or hear your voice again. Don't think of me ever again, I don't want to be in any part of you life again, you dirty little whore."

You pushed me to do this, Ginevra thought. She walked toward him until she was only about five inches away from Malfoy. Then she looked him in the eye and said, "I'm pregnant, Malfoy. And you're the God damn father."

"I am not the father of your pathetic child," Malfoy hissed. "Who knows how many blokes you've fucked in your life time. I refuse to believe that I am the father. Get the fuck away from me."

He walked away from Ginevra. Everybody stared at her. She wiped her tears away and ran back up to the castle, beginning to wish that she'd never told Malfoy that she was pregnant.

It was only about one month and one week later until Ginevra was lying in the Hospital Wing bed, having her baby. Malfoy wasn't there, but she didn't think that he'd be there anyway. Madam Pompfrey hadn't let anybody in with her, except her parents, who couldn't believe they were seeing there seventeen year old daughter having a daughter of her own. It wasn't supposed to be like this. Ginevra wasn't supposed to have a child until she was ready. What a great birthday present, Ginevra thought sarcastically.

She was panting, screaming, and crying all at the same time. Having a baby was a lot more painful than she could've ever imagined. Right now, all she wanted was to die. This pain was unbearable.

"All we need in one more push, Miss. Weasley!" the doctor who had come to Hogwarts for her yelled. "One more push!"

Ginny gave it her all, screaming the whole time. Then, it all stopped. She collapsed onto her back, her eyes closed while she was breathing hard and sobbing. Her mother took a tissue and wiped all the sweat and tears away from her face. Ginevra felt a firm grip holding onto her hand, and she smiled. She opened her eyes and saw her mother crying on one side of her, and her father smiling at her. He kissed her forehead and Ginevra suddenly felt like for once in her life, everything was perfect.

"Miss. Weasley," the doctor said, holding a bundle in her arms. "Would you like to see your baby?"

Ginevra gave a week nod and held her arms out. The doctor laid the baby down and walked away, leaving Ginevra to see her baby, but it wouldn't be too good.

She moved the top of the blanket off the babies' head and gasped. There was a small patch of curly blonde hair on her head. Her eyes were the same as Malfoy's too, ice blue.

You look just like your father, Ginevra thought. Tears sprung to her eyes, but she held them up, not wanting her baby to see her mother crying.

"Have you thought of a name?" the doctor asked, walking back over to them. Ginevra looked up at her.

"Oh, yeah, of course," Ginevra whispered, swallowing and looking down, trying to remember what she was going to name her daughter. "Donna. After my great-great-great-grandmother."

The doctor smiled to her and went over to fill in the papers. Ginevra wished Malfoy was here with her. She didn't want little Donna growing up without a father, and she didn't want to lie to her child when Donna asked whom her father was. Ginevra knew she would ask that question someday, and she already dreaded it, but she knew that Malfoy would never be a part of her life, and never in Donna's.

She thought he loved her
But now he don't even bother
Had a little baby named Donna
But Donna ain't got no father

Ginevra had to stay in the Hospital Wing for a few days after that. During those days, she'd had a lot to think about. And a lot of time to get Donna used to having Ginevra as a mother, but a soon as Ginevra had to start school again, Donna was going to be living with Ginevra's mother and father.

But one day, an unexpected guest came in.

Draco Malfoy came walking into the Hospital Wing late one afternoon one day. He didn't know why, but he felt like he needed to see what the baby looked like, like he was responsible.
No, he didn't get her pregnant. But what if...

No, stop thinking crazy things, Draco, Malfoy thought. There was no way in hell that he had gotten her pregnant. But then why was he here?

He saw Ginevra laying in one bed, reading a book to the baby who was rested in her arms, her head against Ginevra's shoulder. He saw the baby, and gasped. It looked almost exactly like him. But that would mean...

NO! Malfoy thought. NO! NO! NO! I AM NOT THE FATHER OF HER GOD DAMN BABY! Malfoy thought that he was quiet and that Ginevra hadn't seen him, but she had. She looked up at him, and gasped.

"What are you doing here," Ginevra asked, looking at her baby. She didn't want Donna to see Malfoy, her father, if all he was going to do was walk out of their life again. "You don't want people to see you here, do you? You do know that anybody could walk in and see you here, don't you?"

Regaining his composure, he crinkled his nose at her and said, "I can be anywhere I want to be, Weasley." He didn't say another word, just looked down at his da-um- the baby and Ginevra, then walked away.

When Malfoy was out of the Hospital Wing, he leaned against the wall and sighed. That was the baby that he had possibly helped create. That hadn't been intentional, that he had made by getting Ginevra drunk. This wouldn't have happened if he hadn't offered to by her a drink, a very alcoholic drink at that, and sweet-talk her. Now he was possibly a father.

Seventeen candy curls
All he saw was a dumb young girl
Spend a little dough, talk a little game
Look what that got you

Ginevra thought all day on Malfoy's visit. Something about it couldn't leave her mind. Was it that he had come to the Hospital Wing? The way he looked when he saw her baby? She honestly didn't know. But ever since he had left, she couldn't help think about it all day.

When Ginevra left the Hospital Wing, Ron, Hermione, and Harry came up to her and asked her how she was. Like she told everybody, she said she was fine and that so was the baby. Even though her friends hadn't seen her baby yet, she talked about her like they knew her. Then the question came.

"Have you found out who the father is yet?" Ron had asked her one night. Ginevra looked up and saw Ron, Harry, and Hermione looking at her expectantly. They all thought that she was looking for the father, when she already knew who it was.

But they didn't know that it had been that day back when they were buying her birthday present, and that Malfoy had gotten her drunk and that it was he who had gotten her pregnant. She didn't know what to tell them.

"Um," she whispered, looking back down at her paper. "No. Not yet. Still don't know."

Ron lost his temper then. "God damn it, Ginny! How many blokes have you slept with?!"

Ginevra didn't answer; instead she just tried to finish her paper while choking back tears. Oh if he knew that it had been only once, and that one time had changed her life.

"Didn't you listen to Mum when she gave you the speech?! Seriously, even Draco Malfoy wouldn't get a girl pregnant! And he's a Malfoy! You're a Weasley and you had to go and get yourself knocked up!"

"Ron, stop," Ginevra whispered. She wanted him to stop. "Please, just stop. I know what I did was wrong, and that I messed up."

"Do you? Do you know that you just screwed up your entire life in one night?! Nobody is ever going to give you respect anymore! They'll call you a whore! Blimey, they already do!"

Ginevra didn't say anything. She just let him insult her for the entire common room to here. She secretly prayed that Malfoy would appear out of thin air and help her. She wanted Ron to shut up.

"Ginny, you saw the video; Mum must've given you the talk at least fifty times last summer! And what do you do? You went and slept with some bloke! What were you possibly thinking?!"

"Nothing! Nothing, okay! I was drunk! Now get off my back!" Ginevra stood and ran out of the Gryffindor common room, leaving everyone in silence.

God, Ron could be so infuriating! Like she needed someone to tell her that what she did was stupid and wrong! Please! She had to go through labor! That was enough to make her pay attention to what she did! But Ron just couldn't understand that, being too wrapped up with Hermione and Harry to ever understand anything anybody else did.

Harry and Hermione hadn't even helped her out. She felt alone. With no friends to run to, no parents to sooth her, no baby Donna to hold, not even Malfoy. Why was life so cruel to her? It's not like she wanted to end up pregnant; she had listened to her mother thoroughly and watched the movie about twelve times.

But you're a completely different person when you're drunk, especially when you're with Draco Malfoy.

She was young and she didn't know
All they play on the radio
All they show on the video
How could she say no
