Chapter 1

Was the diary that Lucius Malfoy gave Ginny Weasley the only one that Tom Riddle had? Did Tom have others that worked the same way? And if he did, where could you find it? Well, fifteen-year-old Alaina Malfoy, the daughter of Ginny and Draco Malfoy, does.

~*~

It all started on a dark night on Saturday on August 24, 2015. A thunderstorm was happening, the perfect time for Alaina to go rummaging through the attic in the house where she and her mother and father lived. It was also the perfect night for Alaina to have boys over, for both her parents were gone for the weekend. She could do anything and not get caught with it. She could finally smoke in the house; have a party (or an orgy, as that's what most of her friends had when their parents were gone), do naughty things without worrying about her parents coming home. But instead, she was in the attic of her family's ancient house.

Alaina laughed at how stupid her parents were. She'd done plenty of bad things while they were gone, and they still hadn't found out. If they ever found out that she had lost her virginity when she was twelve, or that she had boys over while they gone, or had started smoking when she was thirteen and did cocaine, let's just say that she would never have a social life ever again. But being a very talented witch can be very helpful.

Digging deep into the attic, she was careful not to get anything on her platinum blonde hair, or break a nail, or anything. The attic was mostly empty, but her parents never wanted her to go in there by herself. She would've the other times they've been gone, but those times she had been well, preoccupied with other things to go in the attic. So today, she skipped what she had planned to do and went up to the attic to find out why her parents didn't want her going up there.

She walked a little ways until she came to a wall. She looked up and saw a light bulb with string coming down. Alaina reached up and pulled the string. The light bulb flickered for a while, and then turned on. In front of Alaina was a door. Curiosity taking over, she put her hand on the doorknob and turned.

Once the door was open, she saw that it was dark. She put her hand to the side of the wall and found a light switch. She flipped it and an eerie yellow light filled the room. It was a small room, and looked like a living room, but much more darker.

There were boxes everywhere. Papers all over the floor. Red marks over the walls. But Alaina wasn't scared. Nothing could scare her. At least that's what she thought before.

She decided to search through the boxes first. Alaina walked over to the couch and started going through one of the boxes on the floor. All that was in it was records, and tapes. She pushed that box aside and started going through another one.

She must've gone through ten boxes before finding something interesting. It was a diary. She flipped the pages, which were all empty. Not a single word on any page.

Weird, Alaina thought. She went over to one of the boxes she'd already been through and took out a quill and a bottle of ink. She dabbed the quill into the ink and opened the diary. She wanted to write something, anything. She didn't know why, but she felt that she had to.

She put the quill over the page and thought about what to write. A little bit of ink dropped off the tip of quill and onto the page. As soon as the ink hit the page, it disappeared. As if a sponge soaked it all up.

"What the..." Alaina whispered, staring at the page. She flipped the page, but saw nothing. It was just gone. Gone.

Her Slytherin curiosity worked up and before she could help it, she put the tip of the quill to the paper and wrote:

My name is Alaina Malfoy.

She looked at it, and after a while it was gone too. Awestruck, she stared at the page. This was all too weird. Sure, being a witch was weird enough, but seeing ink disappear from paper was weird beyond Alaina's imagination.
Then something she never thought possible happened. After her words were gone, someone else's writing appeared on the page.

Hello Alaina. My name is Tom Riddle.
