Draco Goes Crazy

It was an unusual day for Draco Malfoy. Everything seemed to be going the wrong way. He had gotten up that morning to find himself already dressed and his clothes were ironed! They weren't even wrinkled!

He got out of his bed very confused and headed to the great hall for breakfast. There, at the breakfast hall, strangely, everyone at the Slytherin table including Crabbe and Goyle were giving him a cold shoulder. He ate his soggy cereal slowly, thinking it was a dream. Wait a minute! Soggy cereal? Draco looked down at his bowl of Cheerios. Something was very wrong here. Very very wrong.

He got up from the Slytherin table and headed for his first class. It was still a bit early so he decided to wait outside the potions classroom. He loved having potions with the Gryffindors. That was because he loved to see his favorite teacher of whom he was the favorite student unfairly take points from the Gryffindors.

He was leaning against the wall when suddenly Ginny Weasley came up to him and said, "Drakey dearest! Where have you been all day? Remember, you promised me you'd meet me in the grounds in front of the lake!"

Draco's eyes snapped wide open. What was going on here? He didn't remember ever dating Ginny Weasley. It must be a joke he thought. He decided to ignore her. There was no other way to deal with the situation. She suddenly noticed that he wasn't listening to her. She slapped him hard on the face and said, "I should've know! Ron was right!"

He stared, surprised, at her retreating figure. Ginny was pretty, but she was still a Gryffindor, and whoever heard of a Slytherin dating a Gryffindor?

He saw the Gryffindors ready to come to class. Harry was one of them and Draco was utterly surprised when Harry flashed him a big smile and headed off to class. Now you're probably thinking that Harry is going to act really friendly to Draco and ask to be his potions partner. But Draco wasn't going to wait around for that. The day had been crazy enough and it was only time for the first class! Still, it was too much for him and he decided to go back to sleep. He asked Snape if he could but turns out that on this crazy crazy day Draco was Snape's least favorite student and who was the most favorite? Harry of course. Who did you expect? Goyle?

Draco couldn't take it anymore and ran out of the classroom madly tearing at his hair and shouting, "I'm a little birdie!" And he started running around in circles madly tweeting.

But back in the potions class.

"April fool!" everybody screamed and started laughing.

Draco, on hearing what they all had just shouted, started laughing madly and remembered that it was April the first. But in between laughing merrily, his eyes suddenly became cold again and he said, "Why you little..." and ran around chasing Snape. He finally caught up with him and made him wear Neville's grandmother's clothes now with Rosmerta's glittery turquoise shoes.
