Chapter 5

Ron watched Ginny play. He was impressed at how good she had become without him noticing her potential. She's good, really good. If it were me up there, I would be freaking out and would be shaking like ah... oh who knows what! What matters is that I can be a part of the team. They all like me they really like me! Ooo, who's that? I haven't seen her before. I wonder if she is from the village? Oh wait! Letting myself be distracted! Bad Ronniekins! Ahhh! I'm calling myself Ronniekins! There I go again! Okay, just watch the players Ronniekins. AHHHHH! Can't stop! Must get help!

Ron noticed a girl about his age walking over to him. At first he thought it was Hermione, but then he saw that her hair was straight and brown, and her eyes where a type of blue that almost looked like navy.

"Hello, can you tell me where I can find Ron Weasley?" a voice asked from behind him. Ron jumped and spun around. He saw a girl standing there with red hair and green eyes.

"My name's Ron. How can I help you?"

"My name is Kara," she said, Ron extended his hand and she shook it and continued to speak, "A friend told me about you, and I was wondering if you could help me with something."

He smiled wearily. "Sure, what is it?"

"Follow me, and I will show it to you." And she led him off in the direction of Hogsmeade, leaving the rest of the team puzzled at his strange behavior and who the girl was. Ginny and Harry sat on their broomsticks, watching the whole thing.

"Harry, where is he going?" Ginny asked. Myra flew over to them.

"Does anyone know who she is?" she asked.

"I have no idea, I've never seen her before, but I have a very bad feeling about her," Ginny said.

"Me too. There's just something about her that just isn't right. I mean she definitely isn't from Hogsmeade or she would be enrolled in Hogwarts," Myra said. Seeing that something was wrong with Ron, the rest of the team flew over to them and stated to ask questions about him.

"Where is Ron going?" George asked.

"Who is Ron with?" Fred asked.

"Should we go after them, or get back to practice and find out later?" Katie asked.

"Katie! This is person we're talking about!" Myra said.

"I know! I was just wondering," Katie said.

"Back to the subject of our captain. Do we know were they are going?" Alicia asked.

"I know! Let's follow them!" Ginny said.

"Do we really want to do that, I mean we could be putting ourselves at risk," George said.

"I think that at lest some of us should. Ron could be in trouble!" Harry exclaimed.

"Okay, so how about some of us go, and the others stay," Ginny suggested.

"I like that idea. So who's going to go?" Myra asked.

"How about Ginny, Harry, and you?" Katie said.

"I'm fine with that," Myra said.

"Me too," said Harry.

"I'm fine with it, but if were not back by dinner, tell an adult where we went, okay?" Ginny asked.

"Okay, we will, Katie said.

So Harry, Ginny followed Ron and Kara. They looked like they were heading towards Hogsmeade, but then they took a sharp turn and headed towards the Forbidden Forest. As soon as they got into the trees, they stopped.

"We can't go after them anymore, we must trust Ron to do the right thing!" Myra said.

"Why? Why can't we follow them?" Ginny demanded.

"Because that girl is a demon. If she spotted us, we would be as good as gone! Do you want that?" Myra asked.

"How do you know that?" Harry asked.

"I've met my fair share of demons. All of them wanted something. That one wants Ron. Don't worry; she won't kill him, not yet at least. We have to gather the right equipment in order to defeat her," Myra said.

"Why do you know this?" Harry asked.

"Well... let's see. The first demon I saw was when I was five; he was trying to kill my father. The next was a year later and that one kidnapped me. Then there was the one who almost killed my sister, and then..."

"Okay, okay! We get the point! So what do we do next?" Harry asked.

"We wait."

"Okay, that seems really stupid."

"No see, you don't understand. All those time the demons came, there was always a party going on. Tonight, there is a party that Malfoy's holding. You didn't know about it? Figures, you diss him all the time! Anyway, I guarantee you that she will go to that party, and we'll be waiting for her!"

"So, how did you find out about this party?" Ginny asked.

"That's not important, come on! We have to go get ready!"

The team flew back to the field and landed. They didn't notice Malfoy running towards them until it was too late. When they spotted him, he was only fifteen feet away.

"Wait up!" he yelled at them. The team really had no choice but to stop. Malfoy ran up to them, handed them an invitation, and ran off again. They all looked at Harry for help, seeing as he had dealt with him the longest.

"So what do we do now?" Ginny asked.

"Keep the invitations. At eight thirty meet me in the common room. I'll have everything we need."

The team all went their separate ways. Ginny started to walk towards the Great Hall. But before she could get to far Drake pulled her into a little room. His beach blond hair shimmered even in the dim light. His gray eyes shone with amusement.

"What do you want?" she asked, she was burning with hatred so great that it could burn a hole through the floor.

"Hmm. So young and innocent, oh well I really don't care. I have a message for you from Draco Malfoy," he said.

"I don't want it."

"I think you do."

"No I don't."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes you do. Trust me!"

"Fine. What is it?"

"He loves you."

"WHAT!?"

"Like I said, he loves you." And with that Drake walked away. I'm so evil! He-he-he! Now to find Draco and tell him Ginny loves him. This is going to be fun! So, so, so, so, evil! Not to mention the fact that I love it!

* * * * * * *

Draco looked in his mirror and smiled. I've never been so happy! Oh I just love the world and myself! Gryffindors are so neat! I just love them! They're all so nice! And then the Slytherins are just so mean! Why are they just so mean? And Voldemort! He's so scary! Ohh, and my father hates me! WHOH! This isn't like me! Oh well! Who's that?

Draco spun around and saw Drake.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to give you a message from you."

"From who?"

"Ginny."

"Weasley? Okay, give it to me!"

"She loves you!"

"Oh! That is so cool! I love her too!"

Drake looked at him funny. Oh, wait that's right he still under that spell. I should've known. Oh well, at least he gets to have a party! I am so evil...

Drake got out his wand, and pointed it at Draco. A flash of pink light made Draco collapse on the floor.

"Where am I? Who are you?" he asked.

"Just a friend. Who are you in love with?" Drake asked.

"No one. Why?" Draco asked.

"Er... because just a second ago you said you were in love with Ginny Weasley," Drake said.

"Weasley! That's disgusting! Okay, now what am I holding?" he asked himself.

Draco opened the envelope and read:

You are formally invited to Draco Malfoy's Beach Party

We ask that you meet us in the great hall for lots of fun

Please bring some money, and a bathing suit

The Headmaster has approved this party

Date: Tonight

Time: 9 o'clock

Where: The Great Hall

Please R.S.V.P.

Draco dropped the piece of paper and gasped. What on Earth did I do? How can this be happening? Do I have multiple personalities?

"You do not have multiple personalities. You where simply under a spell, and now you're not," Drake said.

"How do you know what I'm thinking?" Draco asked.

"That's easy, I was under the same spell once, one day you will know who I am," he said.

"What kind of spell?" Draco asked.

"A spell so powerful it can only performed by powerful dark magic. The spell is so powerful that it changes your whole person. You become the opposite of what you were. Instead of hating the Gryffindors you like them. But, know you have to fix your mistakes," Drake said, and walked out.

Draco watched Drake walk out of the room. That guy has a lot of nerves; I don't trust him. And this invitation, who did I hand it out to? Man, if any Gryffindors show up, I'm going to be in major trouble! Oh well, I'll just go to it anyway! I will egg any one who isn't a Slytherin! That should be fun!

"Draco! I just heard that you have invited nearly everyone in the school to the party! I thought it was Slytherin only!" Pansy said from behind him.

"I invited them for a reason, Pansy darling. We are going to have some fun. Tonight we will get back at them, all of them, for calling us names by egging them!" Draco said.

"That's wonderful! Where are we going to get the eggs?" she asked.

"The kitchen, of course!" he said, "Go get every Slytherin you can find so we can start getting the eggs!"

Pansy and Draco went off. As soon as they were out of the room, a woman stepped out. So, even though he has no idea that teachers will be there, he is still going to egg them? How very amusing. This is working perfectly. She will be very pleased! This will be great information. Soon we will launch the attack on Earth, and she will walk free!

Dear Myra,

I'm writing this because I have to ask you a favor. I have a few friends in Hogwarts that you have probably met. They are Ginny, Ron, Fred and George Weasley, Harry Potter, and Hermione Granger. You know what has been happening, and so do they. If you can, please hook up with them! You know that the world is in danger, and that we are the only people who are capable of stopping it.

I am also coming to Hogwarts in a week. Things have just been going so badly that I must come as soon as possible! Myra, please be careful. You-Know-What is out there, we think there might be some who have taken over teacher's and student's bodies. And remember, no one must know about you-know-what.

Love,

Fleur Delacour

Myra set down the letter from her cousin and sighed. So the war is about to start. No one knows about it, yet they're expected to fight. How many people will die? How many? Who will give their lives, just so some can walk free? How many...

A large brown owl flew though her window. It had a letter printed in her mom's handwriting. She quickly opened it and started to read:

Dear Myra,

I don't know how much time I have to write to you. There are some things you need to know. Although you were raised in America, you were born in London. I know it's hard to believe. That's why I gave you the crystal, there is an ancient prophecy that says:

They crystal will fall to the one,

Who gave birth to the girl,

Who will be born in the mothers country, but taken to the fathers,

And when the world is in peril,

Will take up the sword,

And defeat the Lord.

The prophecy is speaking about you. Myra that is why I wanted you to be at Hogwarts! You were born in London, Hogwarts is where you belong, please trust me! If you have any questions, please talk to Dumbledore!

Love,

Mom

Myra looked at the letter in disbelief. How could she not be American? Why had her parents lied to her? Her mother was British; she knew that. But she was British? That was hard to believe! I guess that explains everything. Why my friends always said I had a slight English accent. I guess that's why I am at my true school. That would also explain why I got a letter from Hogwarts too. My life is so confusing. I need an Advil! That would help!

"Hey Myra, why do you look so sad?" Hermione asked from beside her.

"My life is a mess. Everything I knew is turning out to be false. I'm not American; I'm British. I have to fulfill a prophecy. What else could go wrong?" Myra said.

"A lot... did you just say you were British?!!"

"Yes Hermione. I was born in London. I just found that out two seconds ago."

"You said prophecy?"

"Yes."

"What prophecy?"

"Maybe I'll tell you later. I just need to go lay down."

"Will you be there tonight?"

"Yes."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye Hermione."

"See you later Myra."

Myra walked up the stairs. She walked to her bed and flopped down. She always had known something was different, but she had never thought that she was British. She reached into her trunk and pulled out a book. Flipping to the sixth page she began to read:

The crystal, known as the Power of the Phoenix is truly a marvelous crystal. It has a power no-one can describe. Of course this is only legend.

Legend had it that a sorceress named Kayla made the crystal to destroy the world. But a fierce knight that we know as Godric Gryffindor destroyed it.

Gryffindor cast it into a black hole, sealing it shut forever. He then became the greatest Wizard there ever was.

"That is completely not true. I wonder if they have anything on Aurora?" Myra said. She flipped to the first page and began to read.

Aurora

She was the Guardian of the four founders. She was always seen wearing a crystal. She lived in a castle made of light. Of course this is purely myth.

Aurora was said to be a goddess, for many records say she was 'surrounded by light, she never left a footprint. She could walk on dry ground and flowers would spring up after her.'

One wizard claimed he had found the resting ground of Aurora. 'The whole place was surrounded by flowers. In the center of the magnificent garden lay a tomb made out of ivory, crystal, and gold. Nothing ever died. It could only be the resting ground of someone great. On the tomb there was one name: Aurora.

Myra shut the book and stared at the title for a long time. The words soon became engraved in her mind.

You know, you should never believe everything you hear.

"I shouldn't listen to you, you, you, demon!"

How did you know? How could any one find out?

"I've got a history with demons," she said, and blacked out.

Myra walked into the circle of light. Aurora was waiting for her. She smiled when she saw Myra.

"I see you have come again," she said.

"You must have summoned me, I don't usually black out," Myra said.

"I did. You have found out about the Rose. She is the one who has been playing mind tricks with you. You must be careful Myra. The Rose is hunting you. She will not stop until you are hers."

"Well everyone seems to want me! All those demons that have tried to kidnap me, they wanted me. And Draco, and practically everyone I know wants me for some reason or another! What makes this Rose so different?"

"She wants to use you to destroy the world..."

"That's not new! I'm tired of being 'wanted'. I just want to live my life they way it was meant to be!"

"This was meant to be! Can't you see that! Myra, every single prophecy in the last fifteen years has been about you! You can't just walk away from it! Why don't you see that?"

"Why don't you see that I don't want to be? I never would have lived this long if..."

"If what?"

"If it hadn't been for Danny. He saved me from killing myself. If I am the girl in the prophecy, won't anyone I'm near to be killed too?"

"No. What do you mean killing yourself?!!?"

"Two years ago, I hated life, and I hated myself. I just wanted to die. So one night I crept up to the north tower at my school, and got ready to jump off. Danny had followed me and before I could jump he grabbed me. He started yelling at me, but then he saw it had no effect. He must have realized I had intended to take my own life, and he asked me why. I told him that my life sucked. He then told me that when he was my age, he had intended to take his own life. He said the same thing happened with him that happened with me. That person told him that he shouldn't be afraid of death, but the unlived life. Danny saved me in ways he couldn't imagine. That's why I don't want to hurt him."

"Do you have any idea what would have happened if you had killed yourself? The world would have been doomed!"

"I really don't care what could have happened. It didn't, so there is no reason to be so upset."

"Go home. I'll call when I need you again."

Myra woke with a start and gave a little scream. Drake was standing over her.

* * * * * * *

Draco stared around the Great Hall. Everything was in place. All they needed was for the guests to show up. The Slytherins were all hidden, waiting for the signal to drop the eggs. They were sure they would get everyone. But unknown to the Slytherins, Harry and his friends were hiding in the little room were the champions had gone right after the Goblet had spit out their names. They where watching them set up the trap.

"Should we warn everybody?" Ginny asked.

"There's not enough time to do that," Fred said.

"Plus, if we move we'll be stunned immediately," George said.

"Poor everyone," Harry said.

"I agree..." Hermione started to say.

"All of you; shut up! Do you want them to find us? I didn't think so. So just be quiet until the party starts!" Myra said.

When Draco thought everyone was there whom he had invited, he gave the signal. Millions of eggs poured down on his unsuspecting victims. Harry and his friends watched the whole thing in horror while all the Slytherins laughed.

"That," Draco said, "was for all the times you were mean to us." And with that the Slytherins walked away. Only one person in the whole room wasn't doused in eggs. Her eyes were fixed on the small little room.

So Myra; thought you could hide, could you? Well I found you, and now you are mine!

Myra watched as the demon slowly walked towards the room.

"Run!" she whispered. But before anyone could move, a flash of purple light was seen across the castle.
