Chapter 3

Professor Annamaria Westbrook sat at her desk doing paperwork. After all that and happened she was nervous. After all her mother, Arabella Figg, had told her, none of it was true. Annamaria had taken the job at Hogwarts because her mother went to Hogwarts. Her mother had babysat for Harry Potter when he was younger. She had pretended to be a muggle because she didn't want to get fired, and it was also an easy way to keep an eye on the boy.

Her mother had the world's biggest collection on books. If you wanted it, she had it. She knew where every book was, who the author was, and what the book had inside. Her mother was a little mad though.

Today she was not in the best mood. It had been four days since the first case, and it was spreading. ¾ of the school was sick. Fortunately they had found something to slow the down the virus so it doesn't attack the organs so soon. But they were running out of time.

While everyone was at lunch, she was in here, prepping for the afternoon. The school use to have Friday afternoons off, but because of what happened last year they had changed it so they didn't have anytime off so they couldn't wander off. Of course they had weekends off. As Annamaria continued to work she was totally oblivious to the fireplace.

Flames started to flicker in the empty fireplace. Soon a full-fledge fire was going. Soon the fire formed into the shape of a woman. It moved a cross the floor quickly but quietly. Annamaria turned around but it was too late, it was upon her.

Myra stood looking at Harry. She had a very puzzled look on her face.

"What makes you think I can play Quidditch?" she asked.

"Er... I saw your broomstick in your trunk?" Harry guessed.

"Okay, okay. I know how to play Quidditch. What position do you want me to play?" she asked.

"Keeper," Harry said.

"Awesome! That's the position I played! I'll do it! When's practice?" she said.

"Tonight at seven at the Quidditch field," he said.

"I'll be there!" Myra exclaimed, "right now I have to go. Dumbledore wants to talk to me. Well you tell professor Westbrook for me?"

"Of course, I'll get your homework for you too!" Hermione said.

"Thanks, Hermione. You're the best," Myra said and hurried off. Myra got to the gargoyle. She tried several different passwords until she found the right one: chocolate malted milk balls. When she got to the office Dumbledore wasn't there. A note was, though. It said:

Dear Myra,

I'm sorry I couldn't see you today. I had a very important errand to run. You can go back to your dorm or return to class.

Albus Dumbledore

Myra went back to her dorm. She took out her firebolt and started to clean it. She remembered the last time she had ridden it:

Myra flew out her window and into the night. She flew between the twin towers and across the ocean. She landed on a small island and waited. He would come she knew it. The minute she saw him she rose into the air and flew to meet him.

"Your late," she said.

"I know, but I had to pick you up something," he said. He handed her a box. She opened it and inside was a beautiful diamond necklace.

"You shouldn't have," she whispered.

"Your worth it, I love you with all my heart, and I never want to loose you. You are the center of my universe," he said.

"Oh Danny, I'm going to miss you so much! I don't and to go! I want to stay here with you!" she cried.

"I know. But you have to. I promise I'll visit you. You can come home in the summer and we can be together," he said.

"But what if..."

"No what ifs, I love you and I always will," he said. He leaned in and kissed her. When they broke off they started to go home. When they could see the twin towers they stopped.

"Good-bye Danny," she said.

"Never say good-bye, just say till next time," he said.

"Okay, till next time," she said and looked at the towers, "Do you think they will be there twenty years from now?"

"Maybe, but I know one thing, our love will be," Danny said.

"See you later," she whispered and flew off.

"Good-bye," he said and went in his own direction.

Myra sighed and put down her broom. Dinner had already started. She hurried down to the hall for dinner, whipping a tear from her eye as she went.

* * * * * * *

Harry and Myra walked onto the Quidditch field, brooms in hand. The rest of the team was already there. They looked at Myra carefully. They weren't sure why she was there.

"Harry, why is she here?" Fred asked.

"I think that she would make a good Keeper," Harry said.

"Well let's give it a try. If she blocks 75% of the shots, she's on," George said.

"That's fine with me," Myra said.

After they had warmed up they started. Myra was better than the team expected. She blocked every shot but one, and that one didn't count. Everyone on the team agreed to let her be Keeper. And with that the practiced started. At eight o'clock they had to go in.

"Okay remember, our first game id tomorrow against Slytherin," Fred said. Everyone nodded and went to bed. Myra was exhausted. She fell asleep almost completely when she heard a tap at the window. She got up and went to the window. She was really surprised when she saw who was at the window.

"Danny?" she whispered.

She quickly opened the window. He was sitting on his broomstick just grinning away.

"What are you doing here? How did you find Hogwarts? What are you doing away from school?" she asked.

"First, I'm here to see you, second I have been following the train, and third I ran away from school to be with you. Are you mad?" he asked.

"No, I just can't believe that you're here," she said.

"Well you better believe it. Come on, let's go for a ride," he said. Myra quickly looked around; she climbed out the window, and onto the broomstick. As soon as she was on, Danny kicked off and they rose high into the air. As they shoot out into the sky, Hogwarts disappeared. Myra felt a little worried. She had never run away from school before. Danny flew past Hogsmead and settled just outside of the small town. He led her behind a rock and sat down.

"How are you?" he asked, "I've been worried about you ever since I heard that a sickness was going around the school all I have thought about is you."

"How come you didn't write?" she asked.

"I wanted to see for myself. I told you Myra I love you. I worry about you."

"Danny, I know, but you can't just run away from school to see me," she said.

"Are you saying you don't love me?" he asked.

"No! I love you so much. I just don't want you to get in trouble. If you got in trouble because of me, I would never be able to forgive myself!" Myra said.

"Okay, you've made your point. Do you want me to take you back?" he asked.

Myra nodded slowly. She and Danny got up and took off. Five minutes later they arrived back at Hogwarts. Myra climbed into the window. She looked back and saw Danny flying away. She sighed and climbed into bed. Hermione she noticed wasn't there. She probley was down in the common room studying. Just when Myra was almost asleep was she heard a scream. Myra bolted up.

"Hermione!"

"Professor, the man we found by the lake is awake," Madam Pomfrey said.

Professor Dumbledore looked up at the plumb woman. He had known for quite a while that the man was up. He had just been waiting for Madam Pomfrey to tell him.

"Thank you. I will be down there shortly," he said.

As soon as Madam Pomfrey left, Dumbledore stood up and walked to the window he looked out at the lake. What that man tells me may change the way of life. It could destroy us. It could be the end of life, as we know it. But I have to take that chance. If I don't the world could end. No matter what I do I am putting this school at risk. I don't want to but I have to. The information he has could save the wizarding world. But... oh well I have to take the chance.

Dumbledore walked to the door. He turned around and looked at Fawkes. Fawkes flew over and landed on Dumbledore's shoulder. They proceed down to the medical wing. Madam Pomfrey was waiting. The man was sitting in bed, looking very annoyed. Madam Pomfrey walked out as soon as Dumbledore sat by the man's side.

"Well it's about time," the man said.

"I'm very sorry to keep you waiting. There were a few things I had to do. What is your name?" Dumbledore asked.

"Drac... Drake. Just plain Drake, no last name that I could tell you," Drake said.

"Okay, just Drake. Why are you here?" Dumbledore said.

"Well isn't that obvious? I came here to talk to you! And you keep asking all these annoying questions and you won't let me talk! So just shut up and let me talk!" Drake snapped.

"Fine, go ahead. Talk," Dumbledore said coldly.

"Thank you. What I have to say is very important. I promise you, all of what I say will happen. You may not believe it, but it will," Drake said, " Ten years from know...

"Drake, you can't go! Let the Aurors handle this one! Please just don't leave me again!" she cried.

"Sweetheart, you know I have to go. I'm sworn to protect the kingdom. If I don't at least help, You-Know-Who-I'm-Talking-About may destroy everything we have worked so hard for," he said.

"Can't you wait until our child is born?" she asked.

"No I can't, and you know it," he said. He walked over to a dragonhead and pushed it down. A secret panel opened and reviled a crossbow. He picked it up and Apparated. He arrived at the battlefield with the rest of his army. He looked at the other army. The two army's that were there where made up of two-separated army's each. Two kingdoms had combined army's to make one huge army. The other army's leader came over to him.

"I don't know when You-Know-Who-I'm-Talking-About may arrived. But you can be sure that his will be bigger than both of ours," he said.

"I know!" Drake said to him, "I have my time turner just in case we have to go back in time or forwarded to get help. This battle determines if we live in freedom, or as slaves."

"A battle like this happened a long time ago," he said.

"It was only ten years, I wish she was still here. If she was we could win for certain. Unfortunately, he has her," Drake said.

"We have to try, we can win if we really try," he said.

"I hope. Oh look, here comes the dooms day parade," Drake said.

Hundreds of dark creatures, Death Eaters, and dragons came into view, the army took one look at the dark army and charged. Drake fought and fought. His cloak soaked in blood. They were losing badly.

"If this keeps up, we're going to be dead. If only she was with us. Bloody hell! I have to go back in time! Dumbledore will know what to do!" Drake said. He quickly pulled out the time turner and went back in time...

And the rest is history. I know you know a lot more about the Power of the Phoenix than your willing to tell. I also need to know what exactly happened when practically the whole school went after You-Know-Who," Drake said.

"How do you know about that?" Dumbledore asked sharply.

"I know a lot more than you think. I know that when you left you left a group of girls behind and one..."

"Enough! I don't know how you know that, but we can't speak of it here. That was erased from everyone's memories, it cannot be told here. Tomorrow come to my office and I will tell you everything," Dumbledore said.

Drake smiled and watched Dumbledore leave. You may think that everyone's memories were erased, but you can never erase a journal. Especially if that journal belonged to Lily Potter! You have only had a small sample of what I know, old man. I know a lot more than you think!

Myra raced down the stairs, but stopped when she heard Hermione talking to someone.

"Sorry to scare you Hermione, but I thought Harry would have told you I was going to check on him tonight," a mans voice said.

"It's okay Sirius, I don't think anybody heard me scream," Hermione said.

"Who's that?" Sirius said sharply. Hermione spun around and saw Myra standing in the doorway.

"Myra! What are you doing up?" Hermione asked.

"Checking on you. You know it's a little hard to sleep when people are screaming in the middle of the night. Who's that?" Myra asked, indicating to Sirius.

"Sirius this is Myra Heartrose, Myra this is Sirius Black, Harry's godfather," Hermione said.

"I know who you are!" Myra exclaimed, "my mother went to school with you! She believed that you were innocent. She always thought it was Peter who betrayed Lily and James!"

"Who is your mother?" Sirius asked cautiously.

"Lilac," she said.

"I remember Lilac! Good, now I know I can trust you!" Sirius said.

"Is there a problem?" Harry asked from the doorway.

"No Harry, there isn't," Sirius said.

"Er... but Myra..." Harry said.

"It's okay Harry," Myra said, "I promise I won't tell. I believe that Sirius is innocent, my mother knew him and she said he would never do anything to hurt you or your parent's."

"Is it true? Is she telling the truth Sirius?" Ron asked from behind Harry.

"The daughter of Lilac Heartrose would never lie, even if her life depended on it," Sirius said.

"Is that Sirius Black?" someone asked from the doorway. Everyone turned and saw Ginny standing there.

"Yes it is," Sirius said to Ginny, "It's nice to see you Ginny."

"You too Sirius," Ginny said.

"Is Sirius there?" two identical voices said. Fred and George stood in the doorway.

"Hi guys! It is me, Sirius," Sirius said.

"Pajama party, I see. Is there someone there that I should about?" Dumbledore asked from the entrance to the common room.

"It's just me Albus," Sirius said, "I fear that I made Hermione scream, and it attracted all these people. You knew I was coming, so I expect that is why you are here."

"You are correct, Sirius, I need to know if you know anyone named Drake," Dumbledore said.

"No, I don't. I better go. If anyone else finds me you might have a problem. I'll talk to you later Harry," Sirius said and his face disappeared from the flames.

"Hermione, you're a Prefect, so why don't you sleep in your own room?" George asked.

"I told Dumbledore that I would look after Myra, by the end of the week I'll be in my own room," Hermione said.

"Ah, I see," he said. Everyone went to bed a few minutes after Dumbledore left. Harry was still thinking about what Dumbledore had asked Sirius, about Drake. Harry was almost asleep when he heard a voice...

Harry...there are some things that Dumbledore will never tell you, Harry...

"Who are you?" he whispered.

I was the guardian of the four founders. I protected them as best I could. I know something that Dumbledore does not know and other things he will never tell you...

"I don't trust you," Harry said.

So be it. There will be a time when you wished you had listened to my information. I will be back Harry, and then I hope you listen to me...

The voice left. Harry fell asleep within minutes after the 'guardian' left.

Harry walked down a golden path. He saw five castles. Each was made of different colors, but some had the same materials. The first one was made of a scarlet marble with gold swirls. The second one was blue crystal with silver stars on it. The third was made of black rock with yellow moons. The fourth one was made of green diamond and it had a silver snake winding around it. Harry realized that these where the castles of the four founders. The fifth castle was Hogwarts. Harry walked over to the five of them. When he had almost reached them a light from the sky blinded him. He looked up and saw a castles flouting in the sky. It was a castle made completely out of light. A woman appeared before him she was dressed completely in white, she had piercing green eyes, and wavy blond hair.

"Harry," she said, her voice sounded like music, "you where wise not to listen to the one who calls herself the guardian. If you had listen to her you would have died. Harry great tragedy is coming your way. Death is near, but Harry, if you do not remain strong, you and your friends will die. A surprise is on the way Harry. One that will change your life forever."

"How can I trust you?" he asked, "you say that the other one lied, but how do I know that you are not lying?"

"Because Aurora would never lie, even is her life depended on it," a man said, "You can trust me Harry because I am Godric Gryffindor."

The rest of the four founders appeared behind him.

"Harry, times are changing, Voldemort is rising in power. He does not fear Albus Dumbledore like he use to," Rowan said.

"You must be careful what you say and do," Helga said.

"You are responsible, but there is no telling what Voldemort might do," Salazar said.

"Be careful Harry," they all said together, "the future is riding on your shoulders, though you may not realize is."

"Professor, the shipment of Celteddis has arrived," Madam Pomfrey said.

"Excellent, please give it to the patients immediately, and I wish to speak to Mister Malfoy as soon as he is conscious," Dumbledore said.

"Of course, professor," Madam Pomfrey said.

Madam Pomfrey hurried back. Draco had been the one who had been one of the ones who had been sick for the longest, so he would be the one to get the first leaf. As soon as she was done giving out the Celteddis leafs she looked back. She noticed that the color was coming back to the all of the sick student's but one. She walked over to the student. It was Cho Change.

Cho was paler than ever. She was stone cold. How can this be? She just got sick yesterday! Could she be like Sheryl Humbling? Is she dying? How can this happen when I was so careful? Is it my fault? I have to tell Dumbledore!

Madam Pomfrey quickly sent Albus a message. He was there within a few minutes.

"What is the matter?" he asked.

"Miss Chang is not getting any better," Madam Pomfrey said.

Dumbledore went over to he and said, "Owl her parents, Cho Change is dying, and I can't save her, Madam Pomfrey, her parents must come as quickly as they can, Cho has only twenty-four hours to live, unless a miracle happens."

Poor Cho. She is just like Sheryl. The virus went strait to her organs. So many people will be devastated. Harry will probley be the most, besides her parents of course. I know that Harry liked Cho so much, but Cho was in love with Cedric. I have seen Cedric's ghost around the school. It does not talk, but I know it is waiting for Cho. He must have known Cho would die.

"Professor, what is going on?" a sharp voice asked.

Dumbledore turned and saw Draco Malfoy sitting up in bed. His gray eyes were hard, and his arms where crossed.

"Ah, Mr. Malfoy. You have been sick, and that is why you are here," Dumbledore said.

"Sick? Malfoys don't get sick!" he said.

"You were not the only one, as you can see more were sick to," Dumbledore said.

"Are my parents here?" Draco asked.

"They are on their way, as are everybody parents. You must understand Mr. Malfoy that you are very special, usually it takes three days for someone to wake up from this disease, you woke up in three minutes." Dumbledore said.

"Why are you here?" he asked.

"I want to asked you about your family. Are you related to anyone named Drake?" Dumbledore asked.

"No. The only one who has a name close to that is mine, and it has a 'o' at the end," Draco said.

"I see, know another question for you, why did you abandon Myra an the bus?" Dumbledore asked.

"You're joking, right? I didn't 'abandon' Myra she abandoned me. I spent an hour looking for her, and when I did, she told me to bug off!" Draco said.

"You need rest Draco. You can return to your classes tomorrow if you wish, but I must asked that you spend the night here," Dumbledore said, and walked away.

"Fine, I will," Draco said. You may think I will stay here, but I won't. I might have been nice to Myra because you asked me too, but I will not be nice to her anymore. I promise you Dumbledore, I will do whatever I can to make her life a living hell. You just watch world! She will be mine!

* * * * * * *

Myra walked along the castle grounds. She was heading towards the Quidditch field. Quidditch tryout's where today, and she had to be a judge. The only position that was open was Chaser. A lot of people where mad because they picked Myra without trying out other people, but then Harry explained to them that Myra was even better than Oliver.

The two people that Myra was worried about were Ron and Ginny. They were tying out for chaser and Myra was worried that if one got the 'part' that sibling rivalry would break out. Of course the twins were already on, so the other three would tease the one that didn't get on the team.

Myra walked over to Harry. He was asleep, and that's not all, sitting on his broom.

"Harry1" Myra yelled. Harry woke with a start and fell off his broom.

"What? Whose there? Oh, hi Myra, what are you doing here?" he asked.

"Harry, I'm here to judge people who are trying out for the team. The question is, what were you doing asleep on a broom?" she asked.

"I was thinking about...someone and I guess I fell asleep," Harry said.

"Who?" Myra asked.

Harry swallowed hard, "My crush," he said meekly.

"Who?"

"Hermione."

"OOOOOOO! You like her! This is great!" Myra exclaimed.

"Why?"

"Because she likes you! I've heard her talking about you. How cute, sexy, and gorgeous you are!" Myra said.

"Really?"

"Actually, she was talking about you in her sleep, but it's better than nothing!"

"How can you say that?"

"Dreams are wishes of the self-conscious. And that means she likes you!"

"Oh look, here comes the rest of the team!"

"I hate it when boys change the subject," Myra muttered and turned around to see the team, and the people who where trying out.

Ten people where trying out. Ten minutes into the tryouts Myra was bored stiff. All of the people who had tried out so far where really, really, really, bad! Myra was really happy that the Weaslys hadn't tried out yet. They were last. Three more people until them! How can I possibly wait until them? I'll be asleep by then! Tryouts where not like this. The Prefect, the head-of-the-house and the headmaster picked the team. I hate just sitting here and being bored to death!

The sixth, seventh, and eighth were as bad as the first five. When Ron tried out, Myra perked right up. He was good, really good. Myra would have given him the spot if Ginny hadn't tried out. It was really good that Myra didn't give Ron the spot because Ginny was better that her brother. Way better! When Ginny was done Harry told everyone they could leave and that the results would be posted on Wednesday.

"Okay, so what did you think?" everyone asked Myra.

"Well...the first eight were really bad, Ron was good, but Ginny was excellent," Myra said.

"So then it's Ginny?" Harry asked.

"Yep. This might be a problem with Ron, but Ginny was the best."

"Everyone is going to hate us."

"Correction, everyone will hate me because I was the judge."

"That's true, oh well everyone to bed, early practice tomorrow."

"Thanks for reminding us, Harry!"

"Anytime, Fred!"

The Gryffindor team hurried inside. Draco stepped out of the shadows. So, Harry picked Ginny over his best friend. How very interesting. This is turning out perfectly. With Harry and Ron fighting and Hermione trying to 'save' their relationship, I can make my moves on Myra. I don't care if I have to kill anybody for her, she will be mine! I swear as God as my witness, she will be mine!

* * * * * * *

Myra sat in the Great Hall. Harry, Hermione, and Ron where sitting by her.

"Come on Harry, please tell me if I made team!" Ron pleaded.

"Ron, Harry can't tell if you made the team or not, it would break the rules, and he could get expelled from school," Myra said.

Ron was just about to respond when a flutter of wings interrupted him. The owls had arrived. A brown owl swooped down and dropped a long, white box in front of Myra. She smiled and opened the box. Inside was a long red rose with gold tips. There was a note with the rose to.

Dear Myra,

I'm sorry about the other night.

I was just worried about you.

I love you and I always will.

Write back or die!

Danny

"Who's that from?" Ron asked.

"My boyfriend," Myra said.

"And how long have you been together?" Harry asked.

"For about two years," Myra said.

"Well, well if it isn't the loser team fromm Gryffindor," Malfoy said.

"Bug off Malfoy," Harry said.

"Shut up, Potter. I don't want to talk to you, it's Myra I want to talk to," Malfoy said.

"Okay Draco, I'll talk to you if you promise to leave me alone for a whole day," Myra said.

Malfoy led Myra into an empty classroom. He had Crabbe and Goyle stand outside and he locked the door.

"What do you want?' Myra asked.

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Yes."

"Forget about him."

"Why?"

"This is why..." Malfoy said and leaned in and kissed her. Myra was so shocked about what was happening that she let Draco push her against the wall. When she got over the shock she shoved Draco away.

"You jerk. You disgusting vermin!" Myra spat.

"You asked for it the minute you walked away from me on the train," Draco said.

"If my boyfriend ever finds out what you did, I swear he will kill you!" Myra said through clenched teeth.

Draco step forwarded and grabbed Myra's arm. He pulled her close and kissed her again. She slapped him so hard that he stumbled back in pain.

"You shouldn't have done that!"

"Why shouldn't I?"

"My father is a very powerful man..."

"So is mine, Malfoy. You forgot he has more power than your father."

"My father serves the Dark Lord; he can kill you."

"Your threats don't scare me, Malfoy. My father can throw you in Sroughvrkin, which is a hundred times worse than Azkaban."

"My father can get me out of there."

"No he can't. That place has so many guards, that it would take all of America to get through the first line."

Draco grabbed her arm again.

"Let me go!"

"I highly think that I will."

Draco slammed Myra against the wall. He picked her up and got ready to slam him again...

"Let her go!" a voice said.

Draco turned and saw a cloaked figure standing in the shadows.

"Why should I?" Draco asked.

"Because," he said pulling out a wand and pointed it at Draco's heart, "I'll kill you if you don't."
