CHAPTER 2-(A/N This is where Harry and Ginny help each other with their secret insecurities and Ron and Hermione deal with their inside secret attraction for each other. I'm gonna be switching back and forth so please bear with me. Here it is, Ginny thoughts-red, Ron's thoughts-blue, Hermione's thoughts-green. Harry's PoV in the next chapter!)

"Ginny?" Harry called. "Are you there?"

"Harry! What are you doing here?"

"Came after you." He smiled at her. Oh why does he have to give that smile? It is so cute! Ginny's knees began to weaken. "Are you okay?"

"You came after me? Why?"

"Well, that's what friends do." He smiled at her. They sat down in the grass and began to talk.

Ron looked at Hermione with great interest. She looked so different. She had changed so much ... in some specific places more than others. A blush rose to his cheeks as this thought crossed his mind. Come on, Man! This is Hermione Granger..... the busy bossy bookworm who's been your best friend. And only a best friend! Hermione turned to him at that instant and flashed a brilliant smile at him. But why does she have to be so gorgeous?

Meanwhile Hermione was having her own personal struggle. How did I end up here? This person, the boy who made me cry during my first year, is sitting beside me, as a best friend, helping me feel better about the war! And this is the same person who most of the time I'd absolutely kill except for his absolutely adorable grin. (In fact, the same grin he had just flashed her making her realized he'd been staring at her.)

Whoa! Adorable! This prat? Ha! I'm beginning to act like I fancy him or something! And I don't! It's impossible!

Or is it?

Just then, their silence was interrupted by a huge Bulgarian owl swooping down with a letter for Hermione.......... (A/N: hee hee I think I'll stop here for a dramatic cliffhanger!)

Ginny smiled at Harry. "Thanks for coming after me. Sometimes I wonder if I'm 'part of the group' or 'just a good friend'. You know?"

He looked at her. "Yeah, I know. I was isolated from my own family. When I was younger, I would feel the same way. Like a tagalong, right?"

She smiled at him. "That's right! We aren't in the same year, so I don't get to spend as much time with you three as you do with each other. I really wish I was more in the group. Hermione is the brainy one, your the heroic one, Ron is the incredibly passionate and loyal one. Where do I fit in?"

Harry looked at her. She looked so upset he just wanted to wrap her in his arms and promise everything would be all right. However, he'd been wondering the same thing as well. At the time, he really didn't want to interrupt Ron and Hermione. He remembered a famous quote he'd heard once. "It had been going on for so long it was too hard to pinpoint where it had started." Or something like that. Ginny laid down, and Harry awkwardly patted her back. Ginny knew that he wasn't good at confronting people but it was a confront to know he cared enough to do something.
