Author's Note:
I'd like to give thanks to the artist who drew that pic; it was really inspiring.

They had animal magnetism. The human body was attracted to that. It naturally gravitated to that trait.

It could be because both men were sweet, intelligent, and devastatingly attractive, although Bill was Tonks's cousin. So that was kind of weird.

The thought process behind this whole situation came about one day when Fleur said offhandedly, "Everyone loves a werewolf." She and Tonks were in the kitchen at the Burrow, talking inanimately about the wedding which was coming up in a week and a half.

"But that's not true. If it were, Remus wouldn't have so much trouble holding down a job," protested Tonks.

"Oh no, I am not talking about ze society and their acceptations of werewolves. I am merely proclaiming how one feels a certain attraction to ze savage beast. You feel it, I feel it, and even zat 'Ermione feels it. Yes, ze werewolf can be dangerous, but zat's what attracts us to zem in ze first place. We 'umans have an instinct zat invites us to look at ze wolf. We cannot 'elp it. It is ze curiosity of ze mind."

Tonks didn't answer for many moments. What her future-cousin as talking about was true. When she had first met Remus, she had felt curiosity that she had not felt about a person in a long time. And of course, the exception to every rule was Mad-Eye. It was about the summer before Harry's sixth year that she realized what she felt for the lycanthrope was more than just friendship. It took only days after that to realize she loved him.

"Ah, I see you cannot answer just yet. Maybe what I said 'its a little closer to 'ome, zen."

"Yes, I do see the reason behind this."

"I knew you would."

Tonks pondered that thought for the rest of the day. It seemed as if Fleur had long since accepted it as the way things were, and always would be. Once or twice Tonks thought about asking if the part-Veela wasn't just a little disturbed by this, but every time she tried to work up the courage to ask her, Fleur would send a knowing glance her way, thus making any question she had die in her throat.

Two days later, Remus and Bill came to the Weasleys' home. They had just completed a mission for the Order, one that Dumbledore had wanted to be completed. Immediately upon coming inside, Molly pushed them onto the couch. The family talked the rest of the night.

When Molly announced it was time for bed, Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermione bade them all goodnight. Fleur sat on her fiancé's lap, and wrapped her arms around him. Then, she gave an imploring glance at Tonks. At that moment, Tonks finally understood how Fleur could be so nonchalant about the subject of animal magnetism. She gazed at Remus lovingly, went around the couch, and hugged Remus from behind. Fleur beamed at the other woman.

Bewildered, Remus turned and looked at Bill. The redhead shrugged and smirked. Remus blushed; he knew what was going through the younger wizard's mind.

"Gee, Remus, must be our animal magnetism, eh?" Bill chuckled.

Remus flushed a deeper shade of red, but nodded enthusiastically. Neither of them realized the sly glances that passed between their significant others.

Author notes: Thanks to my beta reader, me! My normal beta couldn't do it at the present time, so I had to go over the fic ten times just to pick out all the errors. I might have jumbled Fleur's accent up a bit, though.
