This is dedicated to Derick, love ya baby!

You know everything that I'm afraid of

You do everything I wish I did

Everybody wants you everybody loves you

Ginny sat up in bed. It was the third time this week she had dreamed about it. She got up and threw on a robe. She walked down to the common room, looking for someone to talk to, something to get her mind off of her dream. When she got to the foot of the stairs, she saw the familiar jet black mop of hair sticking up from over the back of the scarlet couch. She walked over quietly and sat down next to Harry. "Hey Ginny, what are you doing up?" he asked her in surprise.

"Nothing...I just had another...another nightmare," she replied, her words trailing off.

"About what?" asked Harry, sounding concerned.

"The chamber..." Ginny replied, almost inaudibly.

Harry took her hand and gave it a firm squeeze. Ginny's heart fluttered. "It's okay Ginny, that was years ago. It's all over now, " he told her with a quick, gentle hug.

Ginny sighed to herself. It was so brotherly of him, but she wanted more from the boy with sparkling green eyes. "Thanks Harry. I'm going back up to the dormitory now," she told him as she stood up.

"Okay Ginny. Any time you want to talk, you know where to find me," he called to her as she walked back up the stairs.

'Harry...He's got everything. He's on the Quidditch team, everybody adores him. People pay attention to him. And I stay to myself all the time,' Ginny thought to herself as she got to the top of the stairs and walked to her dormitory. She opened the mahogany door, went to her bed, and drifted back to sleep, her last thought being of the great Harry Potter.

I know I should tell you how I feel

I wish everyone would disappear

Every time you call me

I'm too scared to be me

And I'm too shy to say

The next morning, Ginny woke up and changed into a clean gray uniform and black robe. She walked down to the common room to wait for someone to go down to breakfast with. When she got down there, she saw Harry, Hermione, and Ron about to leave. Harry's hair was in its usual state, messy yet organized. Hermione looked as sharp as usual, everything in the right place. Ron, of course, looked like he just got up and threw everything on sporadically. She hurried to catch up with them, and received a groan from Ron, a wave from Hermione and a smile from Harry. For the second time in the past twenty-four hours, Ginny felt her heart flutter like a butterfly's wings. She knew Harry deserved to know how she felt, but she couldn't bring herself to tell him. At the table, Harry sat next to her. She was so nervous, she barely talked to him the whole time. Her shyness had engulfed her like a tidal wave, and she was quiet the whole time.

I got a crush on you

I hope you feel the way that I do

I get a rush when I'm with you

I got a crush on you

A crush on you

Ginny sometimes wondered during History of Magic Class, if Harry thought of her the same way she thought of him. Heart fluttering, cheeks reddening, daydreaming all the time. For now, she was content with her secret crush on Harry, and would wait until the right time came before she told him.

You know I'm the one that you can talk to

Sometimes you tell me things that I don't want to know

I just want to hold you

You say exactly how you feel about her

I wonder could you ever think of me that way

At times, Harry talked to Ginny, telling her anything and everything. He talked to her mostly though, about Cho Chang. Cho, in Harry's mind, was the prettiest girl in the universe. This left Ginny with many things to think about. Does he ever talk with Hermione about me? Could he ever think of me the way he does Cho? Just thinking of this gave Ginny a pang of jealousy and envy of Cho.

I wish I could tell somebody

But there's no one to talk to

Nobody knows

I got a crush on you

A crush on you

I got a crush

Ginny always wanted someone to confide in, but she didn't have very many friends at Hogwarts, since her first year had been so eventful. She couldn't talk to any of her brothers-they wouldn't understand. And she definitely couldn't tell Harry. And so, she went on from day to day without anyone knowing about her secret crush on Harry.

You say everything that no one says

I feel everything that you're afraid to feel

I will always want you

I will always love you

"It's okay Ginny, that was years ago. It's all over now, " Harry had once told Ginny. He always knew just what to say to her to make her feel better. She knew his pains and fears. She knew the real Harry, not the facade that he covered up with everyday. Not even Ron or Hermione knew this true Harry. They hadn't had actual experience with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. And maybe this was what kept her loving him, and wanting to become closer. She wanted to be the one he came to for comfort, someone to confide in.

I got a crush on you

I hope you feel the way that I do

I get a rush when I'm with you

I got a crush on you

A crush on you

"Harry, I have something I need to tell you," Ginny spoke up one cheerful April day.

"What is it Ginny?" Harry asked, curious as to what was so important.

"I-I...," she tried to start.

"You what?"

I got a crush on you

"I've got a...,"she tried again.

"You know you can tell me Ginny." Harry tried again.

A crush on you

'It's now or never...' she thought to herself. "Harry Potter, I have a crush on you," Ginny whispered in his ear, before running away in embarrassment.
