- Author's Note:
- Okay, I wrote this a REALLY long time ago (no pun intended). If you do not like the idea of Kelsey Potter, who is Harry's twin, or Cedric Diggory being Harry's brother, go away. I would rather you stop reading now than get scathing reviews and flames later. Oh, yeah...and please review.
There was a girl named Kelsey
That I used to know,
In the yard she'd frolic
Long time ago.
She had a brother, Harry,
Who was very sweet, you know.
They used to play together
Long time ago.
His best friend's name was Ron,
His hair did brightly show.
He was quiet and complacent,
Long time ago.
Kelsey knew Hermione
Who quite a lot did know.
She helped them through some tough times
Long time ago.
Their other friend was Jenny,
Soft as falling snow,
And silent as a feather
Long time ago.
The oldest one, named Percy,
Was five years old, but so?
He played with Harry's brother
Long time ago.
The brother's name was Cedric
Which only goes to show
Such names were fairly common
Long time ago.
The babies--yes, that's plural,
Since there were three, you know--
Were just too young to play too much
Long time ago.
They all got together
To put on an acting show.
Their parents clapped and cheered for them
Long time ago.
Halloween was coming
To be followed by the snow.
The big boys went Trick-Or-Treating
Long time ago.
When they came home afterwards
With plenty food to stow,
Cedric's dad looked worried
Long time ago.
Harry was quite nervous,
Mad as mist and snow,
He swore he'd seen the future
Long time ago.
He'd seen familiar children
All standing in a row.
This was in a dream he had
Long time ago.
Folks that he knew stood there,
While one just stuttered "No",
The others tried to reason
Long time ago.
His brother tried to calm him
By telling him to go
To sleep, forget the future
Long time ago.
An evil man came in the house,
Someone they didn't know.
He cruelly killed their father
Long time ago.
Their mother tried to hide them,
Then just told them to go.
She died to save her children
Long time ago.
The children stumbled onwards
Their progress, though, was slow,
Since the twins couldn't run fast
Long time ago.
As they headed round the corner,
Well, whom they met, we know.
He'd already killed their parents
Long time ago.
The cruel man grabbed poor Kelsey
And just would not let go.
Cedric made him do it
Long time ago.
Harry saved his sister
From certain death, you know,
By shielding with his body
Long time ago.
The curse just bounced right off of him
And hit that man we know.
The house exploded with him
Long time ago.
Cedric left the rubble
With Percy and twins in tow.
He turned them o'er to families
Long time ago.
They met just ten years later,
It seemed much longer, though,
Since the Potters lost their family
Long time ago.
Friendships were recreated,
By all of them, although
They could not be what they once were,
Long time ago.
It's good they patched their differences,
For just a year ago
Cedric was killed, though it seems to be
Long time ago.
He was killed by a man called Voldemort,
A name that we all know.
He tried to kill the Potters
Long time ago.
They helped each other get through
This summer, but they know
The year will be hard as it was
Long time ago.
