- Author's Note:
- I would like to thank my friend Blake for letting me include him in this story This contains a shirtless Draco. ::imaginary crowd cheers:: And the plot begins to thicken with, Betrayal and possibly death.
“What do you mean it’s a when?” Draco asked.
“I think she’s talking about time travel Malfoy,” Blake elaborated.
“That’s preposterous. We don’t have a time turner. Do we?”
“Of course not, stupid!” Mylee exclaimed.
“Since when was I stupid?”
“You’ve always been an idiot.”
“I thought you said I was stupid. Stupid people do crazy things, and idiots can’t learn. If you are going to insult me, at least get it right.”
“Ah, sarcasm, the dumb man’s wit.”
“So first I’m stupid, and then I’m an idiot, now I’m dumb. You called me three things that are relatively the same.”
“Okay, okay. Little children, break it up,” Blake exclaimed while sending each of them to separate sides of the clearing like they were three-year-olds.
“This is so undignified,” Mylee grumbled to herself, walking the opposite direction of Draco. Then she sat down and put her head in her hands once she got to her end of the clearing
“This is ridiculous. I’m being bossed around by none other than Pretty Boy,” Draco mumbled while walking to his end of the clearing.
“Okay, look, Alexiana we need your help,” Blake asked, after separating Mylee and Draco.
“Really, I couldn’t tell.”
“Why do I always get stuck with the sarcastic people?”
“Stop insulting me or I won’t help.”
“How about this, I try very hard to be civil.” Alexiana glared at him. “Okay, fine no more insults.”
“Thank you, now why don’t you go get tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber so we can go to my house.”
“And do what?”
“Talk, converse, FIGURE OUT WHAT YOUR PROBLEM IS!” Alexiana almost yelled the last one.
After being led to her corner Mylee began shooting random stars out of her wand.
“Typical Gryffindor, gets us all thrown into some weird ‘time period’, and all she can do is make her wand spout stars,” Draco mumbled grumpily. He looked up and laughed. Mylee had now managed to make what little grass there was around her dance. From where he was sitting it looked as though they were doing an Irish jig. She looked up and saw him laughing and glared at him.
“What the hell.” He looked up and felt his head and realized that something had hit him. He looked at Mylee and saw her smirking in his direction another acorn in her hand prepared to throw at him. He sighed exasperatedly and turned her hair blue. Her expression changed from one of mild amusement to disgust and she changed her hair back to black and threw another acorn at him and turned around and faced the tree.
Draco decided to follow her lead and he began to try to enchant the grass around him so it would dance. He managed to turn it purple, then red, and then to his disgust pink before he got it back to green. In his frustration he pointed his wand at it furiously and started hitting the ground with it, this lasted for about one minute before the grass burst into flame.
Blake and Alexiana turned around and looked at Draco right as the grass around him burst into flame. Mylee looked up at him and raised her wand and muttered something and the grass around Draco and Draco were doused in water. The fire went out but Draco was soaked to the bone. He jumped up and stormed over to Mylee who had dissolved into uncontrollable fits of laughter. She looked up and saw a soaking wet Draco Malfoy standing over her and glaring. “Can’t you aim?” he yelled.
“Why would I want to?” Mylee asked before dissolving once again into fits of laughter. Draco glared at her and waited for her laughter to stop. When it did and she could finally look up at him without laughing uncontrollably she asked him, “What do you want.”
“Dry robes,” he replied. Then he pulled his wet robes off and tossed them onto her. She looked up at him and saw he had his arms crossed over his chest. He smirked at her right before he took his shirt off and threw it at her to. Mylee couldn’t help but look at the well-sculpted muscles on his chest. She shook her head then glared at him.
“Well,” she asked him.
“What?”
“I don’t want these. They’re wet.”
“Brilliant deduction, now since you got them wet you need to dry them to.”
“No way,” she replied, tossing the wet clothes back at him.
“Draco Malfoy, if you could stop giving her a strip show and please come back over here we would all be very appreciative. You too, Mylee.”
Draco and Mylee walked over to Blake and Alexiana, Draco carrying his wet clothes.
“We’re going over to my house,” Alexiana told them.
“Oh no,” Mylee groaned.
“I’m fine as long as I can get some dry clothes” Draco stated with a glare in Mylee’s direction.
“Stuff it, Pyro.”
“I resent that.”
“Come on, let’s go,” Blake said. Then he turned around to follow Alexiana out the clearing.
They made their way through the forest, Draco and Mylee arguing constantly until Blake yelled that he had, had enough and for Draco to walk with Alexiana and Mylee to walk with him. They walked this way for some time. Mylee didn’t feel like talking to anyone. She was to busy trying to figure out Alexiana’s intentions. At times she thought Blake was to trusting of people, but that’s what made him pure Gryffindor. Instead Mylee looked at the scenery. She saw tree after tree after tree after tree. They passed through a wheat field and after it seemed that they had been walking for an eternity when at the edge of the field there was a nice sized cottage.
“She must not put much on material things, or have a lot of money. Maybe she’s related to the Weasley’s,” Draco mumbled.
“Well, you don’t need money to be happy,” Mylee replied.
“What do you mean, everybody needs money, that’s why it’s called money,” Draco replied.
“Okay, children stop bickering,” Blake whispered to them both while hitting them behind their heads. Alexiana must not have heard them they because she walked in and waited for them to come in behind her. They followed her inside, and she led them to what looked like a living room. It had a stone fireplace that was carved into the wall and there were pictures on the mantel. Some of them were of what obviously had to be her family and a few were with some wizards that she hadn’t heard of.
Alexiana asked them if they were hungry and of course they were so Alexiana led them all into the kitchen and waved her wand and plenty of food appeared on the table. There was baked chicken filled pastries smothered in gravy, tea, muffins, string beans, and finally a lovely dessert of cakes stuffed with strawberries.
Blake, Mylee, and Draco dove into the food and piled their plates, like wild animals that hadn’t eaten in days. After they had filled their stomachs to the breaking point Alexiana showed them to their rooms. Mylee was to sleep in then room next to Alexiana and Blake was to sleep in the next room over and Draco was supposed to sleep in the room across the hall.
As Draco entered his room he looked around in Disgust. There was only one window, and it had pale pink curtains. Draco vehemently despised the color pink. The bed was nothing like the extravagant four-poster he was used to at home, and the room was about the size of his closet. It also had a desk that looked like it would give you a hand full of splinters if you so much as rubbed your hand across the surface.
He muttered in disgust about poor commoners being little better than mudbloods. He pulled back the covers and threw off his wet pants and climbed into bed in nothing but his boxers.
Mylee slipped off her robes and pulled the pink nightgown over her head that Alexiana had given her. Mylee had developed a great distaste for pink after being dressed in it endlessly when she was a child. She much preferred darker colors but couldn’t complain because at least she had something to sleep in, unlike Blake and Draco. She threw her robes in a corner, she was too tired to care if they were wrinkled and climbed into bed.
While Draco and Mylee went up to their respective rooms for bed, Blake stayed behind to talk with Lexi. He was down their for quite a while, then there was a flash of purple light and Blake left the kitchen and made his way to his bedroom. He took off his robes and shirt, and pants then laid them over his desk chair and crawled into bed.
She was looking out at a dark gray castle on a barren moor. There was a tree line in the distance and the castle cemetery. Then the scenery was swept away in a blur and she was inside of the castle. Then she saw the hallway sweep by in a blur until she was in a room. She screamed out loud at the sight she saw.
She was lying in a bed and Alexiana was standing over her, a murderous glint in her eyes. Alexiana raised a bloody, jagged dagger over her head and before Mylee knew it she had rolled away and Alexiana brought the dagger down and it stabbed the mattress exactly where Mylee was lying just seconds before.
Mylee awoke and saw Alexiana trying to pull a dagger out of the mattress and that she was indeed lying on the floor. Mylee jumped up off the ground and ran to the desk where she had placed her wand only to find that it wasn’t there. She turned around to face Alexiana and Alexiana had the wand in her hand and was twirling it around her fingers.
Mylee looked at her in shock and before Alexiana was able to register what happened Mylee had lept towards her, and tackled her to the ground. Alexiana was shouting random curses and jinxes at Mylee but she had pinned her wand hand behind her.
Mylee was struggling to get the wand out of her hand. She struggled like this for a few more seconds until Alexiana flipped her over. Alexiana got her wand hand free and smiled maliciously at Mylee before raising Mylee’s wand. As a last resort Mylee resorted to muggle fighting tactics. She punched Alexiana as hard as she could in the stomach. While Alexiana was doubled over Mylee took her other hand and thrust her palm at her nose successfully breaking it. The blood came gushing out of Alexiana’s nose all over Mylee’s hands.
Mylee used this chance to grab her wand and jump up. She raised her wand and pointed it at Alexiana and shouted “Petreficus Totalis.” Alexiana’s body stiffened and she fell stiff as a board to the floor just as Blake and Draco came bursting in through the shut door.
“Mylee, why was your door locked?” Blake inquired without a shred of surprise on his face. Draco looked at him in shock.
“What is wrong with you? Aren’t you even mildly concerned about what happened in here?”
“Honestly I can see for myself.”
“Well then Mr. I-Know-All please elaborate for us petty mortals.”
“Something happened in her that resulted in Alexiana being hit with a full body bind and having her nose broken. And someone stabbed something into Mylee’s bed.”
“How close was he Mylee,” Draco asked.
“Scarily he was right. But Alexiana was about to stab me.”
“She was what?” Draco exclaimed.
“She was about to stab her.”
“I know that. I just can’t believe it.”
“Well believe it. Come on we’re going,” Mylee answered in a monotone voice.
“What, why,” Blake asked.
“Because I know where we need to go.”
“And where is that,” Blake asked.
“A castle in a rocky, barren moor with a forest in the distance.”
“O.k. how many moor’s do you think there are?” Draco asked.
“Very funny. Look, I just know. I have this sort of feeling.”
“Oh, she has a feeling,” Draco replied sarcastically.
“Oh shut up, will you, and follow me.” Mylee stalked out of the room and out into the hallway leaving Blake and Draco looking at her in shock.
“Well are you coming or not?” Draco and Blake looked at each other then Blake walked out of the room and Draco grabbed Alexiana and slung her over his shoulder.
Mylee walked out of the house and the two boys knew better than to talk to her when she was like this. Draco had had a run in with her temper before and it left his hair orange all day. So on they went, walking through the forest, and past a stream. Then they walked out of the forest and out into a moor. It was just like the one in her dream. And off in the distance where you could barely see it was the castle.
“O.k. now this is odd,” Draco whispered to Blake.
“Tell me about it,” he replied. Draco re adjusted Alexiana on his shoulders and walked off again after Mylee who had stopped and turned around and was tapping her foot at them, a look of pure determination on her face. She spun around and stalked off towards the castle. Blake and Mylee following her.
She approached the great oak doors and saw they where the same ones that where on her on her house. The same massive oak doors and the same inscriptions, the doors swung open and Mylee walked inside and saw that it looked just like Riscowitch manor. Yet it was lacking in the warm homey feeling that she was used to. It was cold and there was an eerie light. As soon as she stepped inside something swept over to her in a hooded robe and grabbed her wrist. To everyone’s amazement and to her own, when he started tugging on her she followed him without complaint leaving Blake and Draco standing in the doorway.
As soon as Mylee left another black figure swooped down upon them and grabbed Alexiana from Draco and left with her. Then Blake spoke to Draco.
“And to think, getting you all here was so easy.” And then he disappeared with a pop.
Draco was left standing there by himself and was about to turn around and walk out the door when another hooded figure swooped down on him and grabbed him and dragged him off down a stairwell to his right.
Draco went farther and farther down. He was dragged through a hallway with slime over the walls and oversized spiders scuttling around on the floor. They walked to the end of the hall and Draco was tossed into a cell. He was flung onto the floor, which was covered with grime. He stood up and tried to wipe the grime off his hands but to no avail. So instead he reached into his pocket for his wand only to find out that it was gone.
Mylee followed the cloaked figure through the familiar halls of her house. Then they approached the locked door. The figure put his hand upon the middle of the door and it opened. The figure had long scaley fingers that gripped her arm tightly even though he didn’t need to. She was following him willingly.
They walked down the stair well and into a cavernous hall. The hall was grandly furnished with oversized armchairs and crackling fireplace. He let go of her arm and she sat down in an armchair that was extremely comfortable. Then the figure reached up and pulled back his hood. “It’s very nice to see you again Mylee.”
forget to review. The next chapter things start to pick up. I know you all can’t wait. I know another cliffie, I seem to like those a lot. Who knows if you review I might write faster. Remember constructive criticism is welcome but flames are not.
